from 1886. It is the largest state fair in the US with over 3 million people visiting each year. Popular
centerpieces of the fair include Big Tex, the mascot of the fair; the Texas Star Farris wheel, largest in
the continent; the Red River Shootout involving the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners
playing in the Cotton Bowl at Fair Park; a full blown auto show carrying the latest hot wheels, and
the never-ending love of fat and fried foods consisting but not limited to corny dogs, turkey legs,
deep-fried Oreo cookies, deep-fried Twinkies, fried Coke, fried ice cream, and chicken fried bacon.
Other attractions include performing country artists, creative arts, fall garden, exhibits, livestock, and
rodeo.

Take US-75 (North Central expressway) south toward Downtown Dallas. Take exit
284A to I-30 East (toward Texarkana), then take exit 48B and follow directions to
                Fair Park.

club is more than welcome to be at the fair for a second day. We recommend all
participating clubs to join us on Saturday so we can be together as a group, have fun,
