The search engine reviews its database for websites that use those keywords most often and most usefully and displays the results in the order that they feel best meet the searcher's inquiry based on the keywords they used. Database Words used in search queries to look for particular information in a subscription database. The database reviews its files for records that include those keywords; it then displays those records. A record is a group of related fields that store data about a subject (master record) or activity (transaction record). A collection of records is a file. EXAMPLE: FIELDS In database searching, a field search will only look for words in a specific field. A keyword search will look for words in all the fields.
