                               Institutional Curriculum

General information

        The Bolivian Association of Political Economy of Globalization – BAPEG was
         founded in an academic ceremony at the University “Mayor de San Andrés”, La Paz,
         on March 2, 2001.


What is the BAPEG?

        The BAPEG is a Bolivian non-profit, non-governmental, non partisan and independent
         research organization composed by university students and professors.


BAPEG‟s objective

        BAPEG’s objective is to support a beneficial insertion of Bolivia in the world
         economy and trade in this globalization period, based on dignity and sovereignty and
         by applied investigation, in a process of interaction with the social actors, in order to
         reach a fair and inclusive development.

Membership
The BAPEG is member of:
    The Bolivian National Codex Alimentarius Committee,
      Since September 24, 2001.
    The Bolivian Institute of Normalization and Quality
     Since January 31, 2002.
     Participation in eight inter institutional working groups, elaborating the Bolivian
       negotiation position in WTO
      Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since August 2004
