EXPERIENCE

Lead Project Manager
(2009) Insight Global at Microsoft – Led a vendor team tasked with three distinct deliverables: the development of
a tool to convert existing Microsoft Learning Essentials Office template content from the Office 2003 to the Office
2007 template format, converting and testing the templates for the US English product, the creation of a Custom
Office Taskpane to replace the existing Learning Essentials Document Assistance Pane.
 Created and managed the project schedule and the project specification.
 Managed the task assignments for the vendor team members through weekly schedule deliverables and
     prioritization.
 Responsible for multi-site team coordination with the off-site vendor team members, Microsoft Redmond, and
     Microsoft Dublin. This coordination included twice weekly status meetings, weekly project status emails,
     handling of new feature requests, balancing scheduling issues, and working with the Microsoft Dublin team to
     establish globalization requirements.
 Processed bugs in the vendor database and ported bugs to the appropriate Microsoft Product Studio database.
 Wrote instructional documentation to handoff with the conversion tool.
 Helped test converted templates including creating the test plan, writing test cases, running test cases and
     entering bugs, coordinating with the other tester to balance workloads.

 Brought on as a Volt contractor and hired full-time by Microsoft in 1999.
