job involved overseeing all safety onboard Barge. Did 3 trips each 6 weeks 2on Accomodation barge and

        Employed with Total on the AKPO project as MARINE SUPPORT ENGINEER.

       To manage the assistance of Marine activities from onshore.
       To be the first level of contact for the marine operations: service, tug boats etc., onshore.
       To be responsible for the regular supply of diesel oil and methanol to the FPSO.
       To organize the vetting of the vessels before proceeding to the field (supply vessels, tug boats,
        diving supports, etc.).
       To assist in Sub sea Inspection of hull risers, Buoys and anchoring lines.
       Upkeep of HSE equipment including drills (antipol, rescue, etc.).
       Assist in arranging for Surveys for class maintaining of relevant systems and equipments.
       To ensure delivery of the critical equipment and material (chemicals, hose elements, spares, etc.)
        to the site in due time.
       To organize and manage the preparations of Specific marine operations like diving operations.
       To develop specific marine procedures.
       To carry out any duties that may be assigned when and as required.

    MARINE SUPERINTENDENT/ SNR. MANAGER OPERATIONS /HSSE
      Discovery Enterprise PVT Ltd., a part of Jindal Group of Companies. DP Jindal Group
        I was Crewing Manager/Marine Manager for Operations of a FPSO Vessel Crystal Sea from Feb
        2006 till Jan 2007.

       Job included liaison with DNV for Surveys, arranging pilotage and berth through agents.
       Coordinating on ONGC Passes, Supplying various stores.
       Coordination with CHA & Master of the vessel for sign-on /sign-off crew.
       Coordination with operator for boat/chopper arrangements for crew transportation to & fro from
        the FPSO.
       To source competent marine and operational crew when crewing agent fails.
       Coordination with Master of the FPSO for manifest of material to be unloaded/ loaded in
        connection with customs clearance.
       To coordinate for obtaining MOHA, MOD, Navy clearances for ship and expat personnel.
       Catering: To take action through catering contractor based on feed back from the Master about
        quality/quantity of preparation & also special requirements particularly from expats.
        Coordination with boat services of the operator for timely dispatch of container.
       Coordination of Garbage receipt and Disposal and arranging boats for same through Agents.
       Ferry/Chopper Service: Coordination with Master, CHA for sign-on/ sign-off, local transport for
        frequent movements of crew as well as repair/maintenance service persons between the vessel
        and base.
       Repair/Maintenance Support: To source and establish various service providers and coordinate
        with them for timely services particularly on following:

        a.    Electronic equipment
        b.    Hydraulics
        c.    Ship repair/HPU
        d.    Instrumentation and calibration
        e.    Electrical equipments
        f.    Weather Forecast services
        g.    Met ocean Data
        h.    Surface positioning Data
        i.    Safety valves/valve repair

        Local environment issues: To establish rapport with local pressure groups and statutory/
        government authorities for smoother operations environment.

        a. Business development for present company
        b. Dry tow contract: - worked on a Dry tow contract and established initial contact with the
            Heavy lift company and later on finished the Dry Tow contract with the Company and was
            working on issues like Agent Nomination, Insurance for Rigs, Marine Surveyor. Made a
            recent visit to inspect the Heavylift vessel intended to carry the Rigs.

        FEB 2005 TILL FEB 2006

        MARINE SUPERINTENDENT

        Marine Superintendent with Sical Logistics (formerly called South India Corporation agencies
        PVT Ltd.) The company was managing 16 offshore vessels owned by ONGC wherein I did
        accomplish the following:

            Passed the Shore side Doc (Document of Compliance)
        Passed 13 ISPS External audits by the Administration. Effected the training of all the crew
         during the above audits.
        Passed out numerous statutory surveys of all the vessels.
        Attended and cleared all ISM External audits for all 16 vessels.
        Planned and carried out internal audits for all 16 vessels.
        Supplied all safety items and necessary stores.
        Was Alternate DPA and CSO for the company and also Training Superintendent.
        Made arrangements for life raft servicing, lifeboat servicing.
        Supplying LSA&FFA Items to all vessels.
        Long-term planning of maintenance schedules while optimizing vessels output and strictly
         adhering to codes of safer ships and cleaner seas.
        Carried out Dry Docking of vessels, Extensive steel renewals.
        Building Liaisons with classification societies, statutory/regulatory authorities and technical
         expert/workshops to ensure smooth operations of vessels.
        As an internal auditor carried out internal audits for implementation and continuous
         improvement of ISM code.
