Bill Aylward FRCS FRCOphth MD
               Bill Aylward is a Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon, and Medical
               Director of Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He trained in
               Cambridge, London and Sydney, and has completed retinal
               fellowships both at Moorfields, and at Bascom Palmer in Florida.
               He has a wealth of international experience in teaching and
               lecturing, and has been training residents and fellows in vitreoretinal
               surgery for over ten years. He is a regular contributor to the
               American Academy of Ophthalmology vitreoretinal subspecialty day,
and has lectured on many courses, including the Duke University Advanced
Vitreoretinal Surgery Course.
He is a founder member and UK board representative of Euretina, the European
Society of Retinal Specialists.


Paul Sullivan MB BS MD FRCOphth
             Paul Sullivan is the Director of Education and Consultant Vitreoretinal
             Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He trained at Southampton and
             Moorfields and has completed retinal fellowships at the Hammersmith
             and Moorfields.
             His special interest is in medical education, specifically in microsurgical
             skills training at both basic and advanced levels. He has given invited
             lectures at many international ophthalmology meetings and is in
             constant demand as a teacher and guest speaker.


Brendan Vote MB BS (Qld) FRANZCO
               Brendan Vote is a consultant ophthalmologist with extensive
               subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery. After completing his
               third vitreoretinal fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, he has
               commenced practice at The Eye Hospital, Launceston, Tasmania.
               He has a strong academic and teaching interest developing 'Slit
               Lamp Explorer' a computer based guide for medical and optometry
               students as well as co-developing a web-based curriculum for the
               Ophthalmic Basic Sciences Postgraduate Diploma at the University of
               Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand where he holds a Lecturer position.
