Whether you are planning a formal or informal, indoor or outdoor reception for a few friends or up to
150 guests, we can help.

     Catering Information& Policies
     Thank you for considering Chefs From The Beach for your special event. Below you will find our
     Catering Information and Policies. Please note, Chefs From The Beach will not proceed with an
     event without a signed copy of the contract.
1. To ensure that all arrangements stated are agreed upon, we ask that the customer sign a copy of the contract
   and return it to Chefs FromThe Beach office prior to the event.
2.     Chefs FromThe Beach shall be the sole supplier of food and beverage. Health and safety regulations
      prohibit the removal of any food products following the function. Food items will remain on a buffet for a
      maximum of two (2) hours. No refunds will be given on any unconsumed food and/or beverage.
3. We request that any cakes requiring refrigeration be delivered on the day of the actual function in an
   appropriate box. The kitchen staff has the right to refuse storing any cakes which are not delivered in an
   appropriate box.
4. In order to assure your choice of menu, we ask that you advise Chefs FromThe Beach of your selection 30
   days prior to the function date. Prices are subject to change without notice, however, we guarantee the price
   of food and beverage for 30 days on confirmed bookings. Catering orders made within 7 days of event are
   not guaranteed.
5. Chefs from the Beach must be notified of the guaranteed number of guests attending the function no later
   than 12:00 noon, three (3) full business days prior to the event.
6. Charges will be based upon the guaranteed number, or the actual number served, whichever is greater. If no
   guarantee is received, then the expected number becomes the guarantee and charges will be made

8.  Liquor laws do not permit the service of alcoholic beverages prior to 11:00 a.m. Monday to Sunday and
   after 1:00 a.m. Monday to Sunday. All entertainment should cease at that time in order to clear the
   function room by 1:45 a.m.
9. All food and beverage charges are subject to applicable sales tax and service charges. Prices are subject to
   change without notice. However, Chefs From The Beach will guarantee confirmed prices 60 days prior to
   the function.
     All prices quoted are subject to;
                  13% HST on all charges (including gratuities).
                  15% service charge on food and alcoholic beverages with the exception of the cash bar
10. Damages incurred by you or your guests may result in additional charges.
11. Local fire regulations B.B.Q only
12. If space permits, Chefs From The Beach is prepared to set 5% above the guaranteed number.

13. Additional charges will apply for set up for any room or hall rental if required.
14. Our Pattiserie would be more than happy to help with any cakes required.
15. Chefs FromThe Beach will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property left in any function
    room or guest room or for any damages to vehicles left on the property where the function is being held at.
16. Guests are not to tape, staple, tack or nail any items to walls, doors, curtains, equipment, mirrors or floors.
    The convenor will be held liable for any damage resulting from violation of this policy.

17. Decorating: Doors will be open two (2) to four (4) hours prior to your scheduled start time for any
    decorating requirements and/or suppliers needing access to the room. If you require Chefs From The Beach
    staff to put out place cards, centerpieces and favors, additional charges will apply. Additional charges may
    apply for set up and tear down of decorations by staff.
                      i. Any decorations or equipment that you bring in must be removed the same night (including
                         Disc Jockey equipment).
                     ii. Chefs From The Beach will not be responsible for any lost or stolen articles.
                   iii. Decorations may not be hung or placed on fire sprinklers, fire bells or any other emergency
                         equipment in the function room.
                    iv. Decorations should not block fire exits.
                     v. Walls cannot be punctured with pins or tacks and tape cannot be used to hang items, only
                         putty may be used to hang items.
                    vi. Floating candles are allowed. Any candles used in the decor must have a four-inch high
                   vii. We request that no confetti, sparkles, or streamers be used on premises. A clean up fee by
                         Chefs From The Beach will billed $100.00 this will shall apply in such an event. When outside
                         please do not throw rice as it poses a danger to wildlife. Birdseed and bubbles only. If rose
                         petals are being thrown, a member of your party must pick them up after the
      18. No handwritten signage shall be posted outside the confines of the rented meeting rooms. Placement of
          computer generated or professionally manufactured signs are subject to management approval when posted
          in public areas.

      20. Under the terms of the Copyright Act, Tariff #8, a SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music
          Publishers of Canada) fee will apply to events with music (live or recorded), Examples of events which must
          pay would include Weddings, Receptions, Dances, Fashion Shows, Christmas Parties etc. It is necessary for
          the premise operator to collect and submit these fees.

      21. A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit ($500 for weddings and larger parties) must be received at the
          time of booking. An additional deposit of 50% of the projected value of the booked event must be received
          90 days prior to the event. Chefs From The Beach reserves the right to cancel the event if this deposit is not
          received. The balance owing must be received 7 days prior to the event.

      22. Methods of Payment accepted are credit cards (VISA, Mastercard,), debit cards, certified cheques or cash.

      23. Tax Exemption: It is the responsibility of groups with tax exemption to notify Chefs From The Beach before

      24. Additional Charges: Any additional charges or changes made the day of the event will be posted to the
        house account and full payment is to be received at the end of the function.

         Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 14 days (all meeting rooms) prior to the
date of arrival, resulting in a loss of revenue, will incur a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the estimated total bill
or a charge equal to room rental. All deposits to confirm a booking are non-refundable/non-transferable. This amount
is due as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. The following schedule will apply:

        If the function date (s) and function space is rebooked with a function of comparable value, all or part of the

   25. If the above arrangements are satisfactory, kindly sign and return one copy of the Terms and Conditions
       along with your Contract. Your signature acknowledges you have read and agree to the arrangements and
       terms of your contract.
     Upon receipt of the signed Contract and Terms and Conditions, Chefs From The Beach considers all
     arrangements confirmed and definite.

Steamy Shrimp Bisque, Escargots en Brioche, Peach sorbet to cleanse the palette, followed by Baked Salmon with
Hollandaise sauce served with Coconut Infused Jasmine Rice & Seasonal Vegetables, Tiramisu in a cup for dessert,
coffee & tea.

*Vegetarian Options: Substitute any main course with Baked Three Cheese Cannelloni or Pasta Primavera or

 Prices quoted do not include taxes and gratuities. Please note that the Chefs From The Beach charges a handling fee
                         for Wedding Cakes, $1.35/person for the cake to be plated and served.

 *Please Note* Under no circumstances do we allow “outside” food or beverages/liquor in the resort (your Wedding
 Cake is the only exception). Furthermore, as a health precaution, your party may not remove remaining food items

      Dinner Services Buffet Style
      Our Buffet Dinners are designed for receptions with a minimum guest count of 50 people. They include
      everything you require to create a memorable wedding reception event including a delicious Buffet Dinner
      where yourself and your guests serve themselves, full bar services, one complimentary pre-dinner non-
      alcoholic punch reception and one complimentary bridal suite.

 Room Set-up
Your function room/salon will be set up with a podium and microphone, round tables of 8 people maximum
(we cannot fit 9 or 10 people) featuring white linen and napkins. Functional tables (head table, guestbook, gift
and cake tables) will have white skirting. The hall booked can be available the day prior for decorating, based
on availability. Please provide us with your seating plan and decoration details at least 14 days prior to your
function date for us to verify as some rules apply.

      Choose one of our beautifully decorated Salmon, Ham or Beef as a centerpiece for your buffet.
