   IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS WHO ARE NOT PERMANENT RESIDENTS
   OF THE U.S.


   Non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents need a student visa to enter or remain in the U.S. to attend school. The
   Form I-20 allows students to apply for the F-1 Student Visa. I-20s are usually issued by Harvard College in
   June. If you need a Form I-20 to obtain a passport earlier than June, please give us sufficient notice and we
   will issue the document in May.

SECTION 3: ALL STUDENTS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING


   International students who apply for a US student visa must pay a $200 SEVIS fee before attending their
   interview at their local US Embassy. Harvard University will reimburse you this $200 on your term bill
   after you have successfully registered for classes in September.

   We will provide information on how you make the SEVIS payment when we send you your I-20 form.

   For students who do not have access to $200 and would like Harvard to pay this fee upfront on their behalf
   must contact Mr. Chris Plumb in the Financial Aid Office by May 1 in order to make the necessary
