Web-Empowered Church Church Covenant Agreement
We, the members of _______________________ faith community, wish to make a covenant with the Foundation for Evangelism (FFE) in support of the Web-Empowered Church ministry. We profess a personal belief in and relationship with Jesus Christ. We are accountable to the Holy Scripture and directed by the traditions of the church. Further, we seek to incorporate into our reasoning and interactions with others the key belief that we are acting in the name of Christ. We affirm that we will “Offer Them Christ” through the use of our gifts, our resources and technology. Recognizing that the nature of the technology upon which we base this mission can be utilized for either good or evil, we warrant that we will use these resources solely to express the love of Jesus Christ. _______________________ faith community agrees to obtain the signature on the WebEmpowered Church Individual Covenant Agreement from each employee or member who submits any materials for use by the Foundation for Evangelism: Assignment of Inventions Agreement I represent that all work I provide to the Foundation for Evangelism (FFE) shall be my own and will not infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights. In consideration of the assistance of FFE and the opportunity to participate in the WebEmpowered Church ministry, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I agree to the following: 1) FFE shall own all rights in and to any and all work product that I develop and share with the FFE (“work product”), 2) I hereby assign, and upon creation thereof, automatically assign, without further consideration, the ownership of the work product to FFE, 3) I hereby irrevocably relinquish for the benefit of FFE and its assigns any moral rights in the work product recognized by applicable law, 4) FFE shall have the right to obtain and hold, in whatever name or capacity FFE shall select, the copyrights, patents, registrations and any other protection which shall be available to FFE in the work product, and 5) I will perform, upon the request of FFE, such further acts that FFE may deem necessary or desirable to transfer, perfect and defend FFE’s ownership of the work product, including (i) executing any requested affidavits and documents of assignment and conveyance, (ii) obtaining and/or aiding in the enforcement of copyrights, trade secrets, patents and other intellectual property rights with respect to the work product anywhere in the world at FFE’s expense, and (iii) providing testimony in connection with any proceeding affecting the rights of FFE in the work product.
