Jigsaw Activity: Segregation
Rather than having Mrs. V lecture as to some of the notable instances of segregation and persecution throughout history, you will work in groups to inform your classmates. I will provide you with a variety of sites from which to find information for the various topics. Each group will be responsible for ONE of the topics below. You will then research these topics on those sites and present the following: An in-class lecture of at least five minutes, detailing the topic you’ve been assigned and what you think might be important. A one-page set of notes, which you will put on the board and have your classmates copy. Your one-page set of notes to turn into me should include in-text citations so as to cite your sources. You should make sure to use information from at least three sources. Extra Credit: Create a short in-class assignment for your classmates based on your topic.
