									My Education

I have a Bachelors Degree BE in Electronics and Communications Engineering,

from Govt. College of Technology, Coimbatore, Madras University, India, in

1983. I did a group project: Data acquisition of ECG signals.

My Masters Degree is ME in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from PSG

College of Technology, Coimbatore, Bharathiar University, India, in 1991. My ME

project/thesis is: Expert system for PC fault diagnosis. Used Prolog and

developed the inference engine for fault diagnosis of a desktop system.

I got my PhD in Computer Science from the Avinashilingam University,

Coimbatore, India in 2002. My PhD thesis title is: Performance study, flow control

protocol and modelling of ATM enterprise network.

My Teaching Experience

I have been teaching since Jan 1984 for almost 20 years. I joined the University

of New Brunswick (SJ), as Faculty in the Dept of Computer Science & Applied

Statistics in Jan 2002.

From 1996-2002 I was Faculty in the Dept of Computer Science, Avinashilingam

University, Coimbatore, India.

From 1990- 1996, I was Faculty in the Dept of Electronics & Communication

Engineering, Tamilnadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore, India.

From 1986-1990, I was Faculty in the Dept of Electronics & Communication

Engineering, Karunya Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India.

From 1984-1986, I was Faculty in the Dept of Electronics & Communication

Engineering, AC College of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi, India.
I have taught almost all courses in Electronics and communication engineering

and many in Computer Science. Some of them are: Switching theory, Operating

systems, Computer Networking, computer Organization, Digital design, Linear

IC,    Radar   engineering,   Statistical   communication   theory,   biomedical

instrumentation, acoustic engineering, TV and communication engineering,

networks and transmission lines, control systems, electronic circuits, Industrial

engineering, antennas & propagation, electromagnetic wave guide, Basic &

FORTRAN programming, Unix & C, Java programming, circuit design,

microprocessor & applications, Computer peripheral interface, advanced

computer architecture, Database management systems, Simulation & modeling
