Scrubbing should be performed moving brush or sponge in small circular motion while applying light pressure ensuring overlapping
stroke and prevent skin abrasion.

Time Method:

1. Open scrub brush and remove nail cleaner.

2. Rinse hands and forearms, making sure to keep hands elevated above elbows.

3. Clean thoroughly under and around nails with nail cleaner and rinse.

4. Utilizing sponge, scrub right hand for a total of one minute in the following order: scrub each individual finger on four sides,
beginning with thumb and progressing to fifth finger. Progress to dorsal surface of hand to palm scrubbing hand on four sides to wrist.

5. Scrub opposite hand as described in Step 4.

6. Scrub left arm from wrist to 2 inches above the elbow for thirty seconds. Arm should be scrubbed in thirds on four sides ending
two inches above the elbow.

7. Scrub opposite arm following Step 6. This is a total of 5 minutes.

8. Rinse each arm from fingertips to elbows. Hands and arms should be maintained in elevated position and away from body.

Brush-Stroke Count Method:

1. Open scrub brush and remove nail cleaner.

2. Rinse hands and forearms. making sure to keep hands elevated above elbows.

3. Clean thoroughly under and around nails with nail cleaner and rinse.

4. Scrub nails on one hand 20 strokes.

5. Scrub four sides of each finger beginning with thumb and progressing to fifth finger for ten strokes using sponge.

6. Scrub four sides of one hand for ten strokes.

7. Change hands and repeat steps 4,5, and 6.

8. Scrub arm from wrist to two inches above elbow utilizing six strokes on each of four sides.

9. Repeat step #8 on opposite arm.

10. Rinse each from fingertips to elbows keeping hands and arms elevated position and away from body.

11. Repeat this scrub procedure for three minutes.

Waterless methods:

1. Clean under nails with nail cleaner.

2. Dispense one pump (2-3 ml) into the palm of one hand. Dip fingertips of the opposite hand into the hand prep and work under
fingernails. Spread remaining hand prep over the hand and up to just above the elbow.

3. Dispense one pump (2-3ml) and repeat procedure with opposite hand.

4. Dispense final pump(2-3 ml) of hand prep into either hand and reapply to all aspects of both hands up to the wrists.

5.ALLOW to DRY, Do not use towel.
