Note: The Pageant is limited to the first 15 contestants in each age division and may be closed for entry if that number is reached

determined by order received, i.e.; first application received will be assigned last number etc. Note: There will be no refunds of
entry fees and/or optional fees unless the pageant is canceled. Parents or Guardians should read the attached information sheet
and rules before submitting application. There will be an opening number, but the contestants will not be judged and

The Miss Georgia Peach Pageant, which is a sanctioned event sponsored by the Georgia Peach Festival, will be
held Mar 17th 2012 at the C.W. Pettigrew Center at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley Georgia. The age
divisions are: Tiny Miss (age 4-6 yrs), Little Miss (age 7-10 yrs), Junior Miss (age 11-13 yrs). All contestants will
be judged on poise/personality, beauty and projection. The rehearsal for the pageant will be held on Friday
Mar 16th at the Pettigrew Center from 5-7:30 pm . The pageant will begin at 2pm on Saturday the 17th and the
doors will open at 1pm. There will also be an optional talent competition for the Little Miss and Junior Miss
contestants that will only be scored after the queen and court have been scored by the judges. The Tiny,
Little & Junior divisions will also be given optional awards for photogenic, prettiest dress, prettiest smile, and
prettiest hair. There will be 4 runner ups in each age division as participation allows. The winning queens will
receive a $100.00 savings bond, banner, crown, gift basket, and Trophy. Savings bonds may be held until
queens have served throughout the year of their reign. The Queens will be the official ambassadors during
the Georgia Peach Festival held in June at Byron and Fort Valley. Pageant videos and photographs will be

Note: The official hair/make-up person is Angela Cross. For appointment call her at 478 957-2510.
Appointments are limited so call early to ensure availability. Other hair/make-up people are welcome but will
enter the dressing area at 1:00 when doors open.
Tiny Miss (4-6 yrs) - Will be asked a simple question on stage from their application during the gown competition.
Little Miss (7-10 yrs) – Will say a 15-30 second speech at the microphone on any topic during the gown competition.
Junior Miss (11-13 yrs) - Will say a 15-30 second speech at the microphone on any topic during the gown competition.
Opening Number – A simple opening number will be taught at rehearsal but will not be judged.
What to wear for opening number - Contestants may wear any casual wear outfit of their choice.
Optional Talent - (Little Miss & Junior Miss) Scored separately after the Queen and Runner ups have been decided.
Talent not to exceed 2 minutes and a copy of your music must be left at the rehearsal. Talent will be timed at rehearsal.
Please do not have more than one music selection on your CD and have it cued to the starting point.

NOTE: There will be no admission charge for anyone to attend the pageant
ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for entry into the Miss Georgia Peach Pageant, contestants must be female age 4 – 24 by Mar 17th,
2012, never married, pregnant or convicted of a crime. The Pageant is open State Wide. There is no
discrimination due to race, creed, color, religion or national origin. Winner may not participate in a division
previously won. Any contestant may choose to move up to the next age division. Entry is limited to the first 15
applicants per group unless more than 15 are received on the day of receipt of the 15th application. If 15
applications are received before the deadline, that division may be closed early. You may call 478-923-3846 to
verify application has been received.
OBLIGATION
All Miss Georgia Peach selected queens will be asked to serve as the official ambassadors during the Georgia
Peach Festival held in June as well as other events such as parades, visit to the Georgia Legislature, and T.V.
appearances throughout the year of their reign. Savings bonds will be held until queens have served throughout
the year of their reign.
ENDORSEMENTS
Selected Queens will not participate as a representative of Miss Georgia Peach in any event without prior
approval of the Miss Georgia Peach Pageant Board.
TIME LIMITS
Time limit for Talent competition is not to exceed 2 minutes (no exceptions) and a copy
of the pre-recorded CD must be left at rehearsal. Please have only one music selection on a CD and it
should be cued to the starting point. This will allow the production of the pageant to run smoother. All
talent numbers will be timed at rehearsal for the 2 minute rule. Due to time restraints at the Pettigrew Center, we
will not be able to cut your talent music selections down to 2 minutes.
REFUNDS
There will be no refunds of entry fees unless the Pageant is canceled. A return check fee of $25.00 will be
charged for returned checks.
DEADLINES
Applications with payment must be received no later than Mar 10th , 2012. Applications will not be accepted
without payment. Applications must be either mailed or hand carried to:
