I am writing to ask you to help us make a difference in the life of our own child and in the
lives of his/her schoolmates at the Tucson Waldorf School.

The Tucson Waldorf School is an independent, private non-profit school. As such, the
school is eligible for the Arizona State Tax Credit Program, which allows taxpayers to
redirect their tax dollars to private schools in the state of Arizona. Funds for scholarships
to the Tucson Waldorf School are raised through the Arizona Waldorf Scholarship Fund
(AWSF).

Every dollar you give to AWSF in support of our school reduces your state tax
liability.*

You can make a difference in the life of a child by helping them develop a life-long love of
learning. Your contribution to AWSF supports scholarships to help needy students attend
the Tucson Waldorf School, where they will experience an integrated curriculum that
addresses their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development.

Simply send your check made out to the Arizona Waldorf Scholarship Foundation and
mail to AWSF, 3349 E. Presidio Road, Tucson AZ 85716. Contributions must be made by
December 31, 2009 to count toward your 2009 taxes.

Your contribution makes such a difference and it literally costs you nothing.

In deep gratitude,

* Provided your household made more than $32,000 in 2008, you should have some state tax
liability. Look at your 2008 taxes to find out how much you paid in taxes to the State of Arizona. If
you make a contribution of that size (up to a maximum of $500 for a single filer or $1,000 for a
married couple filing jointly), you should receive it back in your tax refund come tax time. As
AWSF may not provide tax advice, check with your tax advisor to be certain.
