             presents unique youthful concert productions of
                       Irish music, song and dance!
                           Directed & Presented by Janet Harbison
                     A semi-professional young stage company of 23 Artists

                                           Featuring 20 harpers
        With guest musician Ryan Murphy, Flutes & Uilleann pipes (Current All Ireland Champion)
 With optional further musicians and a team of young dancers from the Planxty O Rourke Dance Company.

                   in a unique vibrant mix of New and Traditional Irish Music

This is training orchestra for the professional Irish Harp Orchestra and features up and coming
teenage musicians, many of whom are aiming to follow a professional career in Irish music and stage
shows.     With top direction and guidance from Janet Harbison, this is a unique high quality
production from which careers are launched. Past members include Michael Rooney, Grainne
Hambly, Laoise Kelly, Niamh Denmead & Paul Dooley, all of whom are now recognized soloists.

              Recent invited concert features include:
              PanCeltic Festival, Tralee
              St.Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick
              Open Air Stage Performance at the Munster Fleadh ‘06
              O’Carolan Festival Concert, Mohill, Co.Leitrim
              Harpfest ’06

                                     St.Patrick’s Day Festival, Dublin (tbc)

To engage the NATIONAL HARP ORCHESTRA
Minimum stage requirements: Performance space of 7 x 5 metres with suitable floor for dancing;
Depending on venue: 3 stage risers of 1x2 metres. Up to 24 standard chairs (no arms).

Technical: For audience seating of over 400, 24 track sound board and full PA. (Tech spec on req)
We prefer to provide our own sound engineer at a fee of €500 with equip. hire in addition.

Dressing rooms: (Ideal): 1 Director’s; 1 Male, 1 Female for Musicians; 1 Male, 1 Female for Dancers.

Catering (light foods, tea, coffee etc) 2 hours before the concert

Merchandising tables: 1 or 2 tables for merchandising in the foyer.

Accommodation: Student accommodation is adequate with some twin and single for adults.

Concert Fee: €2,000 plus expenses
