An example of betrayal trauma is financial, legal, physical and/or passive social abuse, e.g. The term was first used by Professor J.J. Freyd in 1991, and today most mental health professionals accept betrayal trauma as a possible alternative diagnosis to traditional post traumatic stress disorder. Betrayal, a form of deception - the breaking or violation of a presumptive social contract (trust, or confidence) that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations. Often betrayal is the act of supporting a rival group, or it is a complete break from previously decided upon or presumed norms by one party from the others.2 Pure political betrayal trauma can be caused by situations such as wrongful arrest and/or conviction; or by discrimination, bullying or other serious mistreatment by a state institution or powerful figure within the state. Most adults living in democracies place trust in the state of which they are a citizen. If this trust is betrayed, at its worst, the individual suffers psychological betrayal trauma. Now, openly defying a rule is one thing, the collateral actions taken to cover it opens the door to another realm of wicked behaviors, like attacking one for peacefully raising it & related criminal concerns - all of which are governed, in court by: A test demanding respect to rules that “a prudent man in a position of trust would observe." Here, there are lots of supremely universal “common business laws” that a defined world of mortals openly defy, saying, by oral & non-verbal communications & acts, which speak truth, many have openly said they owe no allegiance/duty to simple rules. They play the odds calculating that they will not get caught & be taken to the law box, in part owing to “short bus” egos & in part owing to subversive political business connections. One small example, which I front, is a not nice “boss man” named Juan Alonso who has been doing business in Acton California for almost 20 years, skimming tips from struggling single mothers to grease his “preferred” staff & so he can pay less & pocket more for not working. He does so in corrupt violation of, e.g.: Labor Code Section 351: [The Fruits Of My Labor]] Tip[s] … cannot be used to compensate the owner(s), manager(s), or supervisor(s) of the business, even if these individuals should provide direct … service to a patron.4 The identified persons marked on the enclosed CD & identified white collar crimes range from small to jumbo, including “false tax write off” treason (Brad O’Husky) to under reporting on a macro scale by way of false “invoice cost claims, i.e., “Sugar Case “Concession” – on Hall Mark cards - laundering tens of millions annually.
