                            New Balance, New Solution

Roger Kirouac, Color Business Manager with Sharp
Electronics Corporation’s Network Office Systems
Group, is reporting great success with the Sharp
AR-C250 Digital Color IMAGER.

The customer is New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc.
manufacturer of footwear, apparel and accessories for
men, women and children. According to Joe Caniglia,
Office Services Supervisor at New Balance, they were
using two Ricoh color printers. At this point, they were
looking for a more effective, high speed solution. They
were very frustrated about the turn-around time and
the lack of control with the Ricoh. That’s when New
Balance turned to Sharp.

The Sharp Color Solution:
Joe Caniglia and his staff saw a demonstration
conducted by Gerard Mahoney & Roopa Winchell of
One Stop Business Centers, Inc., in Massachusetts.
Gerard and Roopa discovered that New Balance’s main
concerns were speed and color quality. In fact, that was
the first thing they wanted to see at the demonstration.
There was little to say as they were convinced of the
benefits of the AR-C250. They were impressed with
the demonstration and decided to lease four units.
According to Toni Profetto, Administration Manager,
at New Balance, having the machine on a network
and accessible to all authorized people who need to
print in color is great! The Marketing department is
very impressed with the color output. Color is key,
because the products we make are colorful. Between         Roopa Winchell and Gerard Mahoney of One Stop Business Centers,
                                                                   making a presentation with the Sharp AR-C250.
the 4 units, they generated a total of 140,000 copies in
one month. They tell us service is great! According to
Joe, we don’t even know the machine is there because
we never have a problem.
