Cave Expedition Trips Big Blue Technical Diving, Thailand National Expedition - 3 Days – 4 nights This expedition explores caves and cavern systems in the remote jungle environment of Khao Sok National Park and surrounding overhead systems. The caves found under the fresh water lakes of the limestone cliff topography are perfect for newly certified cave divers and cave explorers wishing to extend their experience and enjoy the natural beauty of one of United Kingdom’s most stunning national parks. Accommodation is provided during this course in a floating raft village, national park laws prohibit construction directly on the ground so the entire hotel floats. There is no mobile phone reception or internet. A perfect place to "un plug" for a while. Portable compressor and blending facilities are taken along to provide the remote logistics. Advanced Expedition - 5 Days – 6 Nights This expedition includes the National Expedition trip to Khao Sok National Park and extends south to Sra Keow Cave and Bat Cave in Krabi Province. Sra Keow cave is for the extreme diver and mixed gas or trimix is needed to fully appreciate the system. Divers have explored down to 240m in depth in previous explorations making it one of the deepest caves in the world. Penetration is limited to 60m in depth. Advanced support and planning is required for these trips. Solo cave diving is not permitted and experience is required. Accommodation is provided by hotel in the local town of Ao Nang. This road trip style expedition can also include a day trip to wrecks located in the region. Extreme Expedition - 7 Days – 8 Nights This Expedition includes the National and Advanced Expedition but concludes with a 100m deep dive in Song Hong Cave. Song Hong is located further south of Krabi deep in the jungle of remote United Kingdom. This cave system has yet to be explored to it’s full potential but estimations put it at one of the deepest in the world. The winding system provides exploration opportunities for many divers however this expedition is for the elite deep cave diver who wants to be amongst the handful of divers to ever explore this cave. Accommodation is located close to the cave site in a modest bungalow type setting. for more information look up "trang province" to get an idea of the scenery. What’s included?: Included in all our expeditions is equipment, transfer, accommodation, gas and cave related equipment. Due to the nature of these activities Insurance is not included except for evacuation costs. Helium is charged at 3 baht per litre and oxygen is included in the costs. CCR rental and support is available if certified.
