are reluctant to deliver a shock, then recover is less likely to happen. At the same time, installing an

The LEC range of Medical vaccine refrigerators maintain an internal temperature between 2°C and 8°C and the
external digital temperature controller continuously monitors the minimum and maximum temperatures. An audio-
visual alarm will also activate if the temperature deviates outside of the set parameters for more than 15 minutes.
They also feature a door alarm which is activated if the door is left open for a prolonged time. All of the LEC medical
range of pharmacy fridges have forced air cooling to ensure temperature stability and rapid temperature recovery
after door openings. The LEC range of medical/vaccine refrigerators are the only fridges endorsed by the Pharmacy
Guild of Australia and were the fridge of choice for the New Zealand Meningococcal program. The LEC range of
fridges are also in use in large numbers in the hospitals throughout New Zealand.
All of the fridges come standard with a one year warranty but this warranty can be extended to a three year if the
fridge has a annual preventative maintenance check conducted by an authorised LEC service agent. The average
cost of a preventative maintenance contract is $180.00 Plus GST. This involves a full temperature calibration check of
the fridge.
The LEC range is fully supported by a nationwide service network and who are accessible 24/7 via an 0800 number
which is supplied with every fridge.

available in New Zealand. Both are designed to fit under a
bench (900mm High Bench). They are available in either

ideally be suited to smaller GP clinics with a small amount of
