Job Title:              Event Coordinator

Exhibition:             100% Design London
Reports to:             Sales Manager

Based at:               Richmond, UK

establish and maintain business relations, and generate new business. Every year we run over 500 events in 38

We have an exciting opportunity for an articulate and enthusiastic team player to work on one of Reed Exhibitions’
flagship events within the Architecture and Design Sector. You will have strong administration skills and a tenacious
can do approach. You will provide support to the sales and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinating the online panel application system
• Preparation for panel meetings including liaising with panel members and assisting with sourcing and booking
  suitable venues
• Administering exhibitor contracts and invoices
• Dealing with exhibitor enquiries relating to invoices
• Managing and updating the contact details on the company sales database (Onyx)
• Scheduling sales meetings, running lists, circulating reports and sales figures
• Coordinating travel bookings for competitive exhibitions and overseas trips
• Organising and cataloguing materials (magazines, show catalogues, sales literature)
• General team admin (holiday forms, stationery stock etc)
• Managing on-site requirements for the sales office at the exhibition
• Special projects
• Reporting figures and database analysis to the Sales Manager and updating live sales trackers

The candidate:

• Enthusiastic and driven
• Excellent telephone manner and good written communication skills
• Someone with a track record in sales administration or someone who is looking for a career path that leads into
  exhibition organising
• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload
• A high level of computer literacy, including Excel, Word and preferably PowerPoint.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-moving team environment across a range of projects
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative
• Ability to communicate with many different nationalities and cultures
• An interest or appreciation of design is helpful but not essential
