Hi everyonemy name is ElizabethClydesdale    and I will be your editor this year. First off I would
like to thank Fay Clark for doing the magazineup till now, and I can appreciate effort she has

put in to preparingthe magazine, once againthank you.

As you can seeby the cover and the first article,I am a Basenjiowner. We startedlure coursing
our first four Basenjisabout 1989and gaveit away for about l0 yearswhen our dogswere to old
to course,we have beenback for a few yearsnow with our currenttwo Kai and Bengal.

The Basenjis amongstthe oldestdogs of the World.The name Basenjimeans"small
