2010 holds great promise for Abc TV

Over the past few years, we have worked to expand the ways in which audiences can access
our programs and content – growing from a single channel to four television channels and the
most extensive online offering of any entertainment network. Now, it is time to fully realise those
opportunities and create exciting new content for audiences to enjoy across all our platforms.

News on 3 is the flagship news service for ABC3 and will
feature a mix of current daily news from Australia and around
the world as well as entertainment and sport reports. ABC3
will screen news updates throughout the afternoon Monday
to Friday, leading up to the main 6:55pm bulletin. Kids will
also be able to keep up to date with news as it happens
through the News on 3 website and the ABC3 online portal.
bTN extra will include a mix of Behind The News reports,
features and stories that explore issues that are relevant
to kids. It also features expanded reports on some of the
headline news stories from the nightly News on 3 program.
Premiering next year, bTN extra will screen at midday,
Monday to Friday. The programs will also be available online
