							    Dickinson High School Homecoming Week 2009 
                 Schedule of Events 
 
 
Homecoming Game Ticket Sales 
Week of September 28, 2009 

Tickets for the Oct. 2 Homecoming Football Game will be available beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, 
Sept. 28 through 12 noon Friday, Oct. 2 at the Dickinson High School Field House. Ticket prices 
for advance tickets purchased at the Field House are $5.00 for General Admission and $8.00 for 
Reserve seats. Student tickets can be purchased at the Field House and at Dickinson High School 
(during lunches) for $3.00. These tickets are limited. Tickets at the gate Friday evening are $6.00 
for General Admission and $10.00 for Reserve seating.  No student tickets will be available for 
purchase at the gate. All Gold Card (Senior Citizen) pass holders must pick up their 
complimentary general admission ticket from the field house, as those cards are do not allow 
entrance to the game for Varsity football.

Timber Drive Facility Farewell Ceremony 
4 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 
 
The community is invited to help us honor the past as we look toward the future at a farewell 
ceremony planned for 4 p.m. Sept. 30 at the district’s Timber Drive facility. The campus is being 
demolished to make room for the district’s new Administration Building approved by voters in 
the 2007 bond issue. Construction of the new Administration Building is expected to be complete 
by December 2010. The district is sending a special invitation to former teachers and alumni who 
taught or attended school in the Timber Drive facility to join us for the ceremony.

Dickinson High School Homecoming Parade 
5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 

The annual Dickinson High School Homecoming Parade will start from a different location this 
year. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30 from the shopping center parking lot at FM 1266 and FM 
517, go down FM 517, turn left on Baker Drive in front of DHS and end at Sam Vitanza Stadium 
where a community pep rally is planned. Parade line‐up begins at 4:45 p.m. For more

Dickinson High School King and Queen Crowning 
Gator Varsity Football Game 
6:40 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 

The crowning of the homecoming king and queen will take place at 6:40 p.m., shortly before the 
7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 varsity football game against Clear Brook High School.
