									                    Pizza Hut® Quality Control Program

It is very important to Pizza Hut® that the integrity of their products be maintained
at all times. In order to ensure this, a training and quality control program has been
developed for Pizza Hut® Pizza Packs. The elements of this program, along with
the broker’s responsibilities in regard to each element, are described below.


Foodservice Agreement:
         Each school district is required to execute a Foodservice Agreement before
         they can begin ordering Pizza Hut® Pizza Packs.                  By executing this
         agreement, the school district agrees that its foodservice operators will
         uphold Pizza Hut® quality standards when handling and preparing product.
         It is the broker’s responsibility to supply this agreement to the school district
         and mail the original copy to J.O.Y. Foods for their records. A copy of the
         Foodservice Agreement can be found in section 4.4 of the Sales Tool Kit.


Customer Training:
         The broker is responsible for ensuring that all school foodservice operators
         who are to be involved in the preparation and serving of Pizza Hut® Pizza
         Packs are properly trained. The broker, or other authorized J.O.Y. Foods
         representative, must conduct the training. A J.O.Y. Foods representative
         should accompany the broker to their first training session to assist them and
         make sure they thoroughly understand the program. The date, time, and
         location of the training should be coordinated through the foodservice
         department and conducted prior to the first day the product is actually served
         to students. If possible, all of the schools within a district should be trained
         at one time, in one location.        The training session should include the

         following:


            Appoint a Pizza Hut® Champion for each school that will serve Pizza
            Hut® Pizza Packs.
             This person will be the training coordinator for Pizza Hut® Pizza
               Packs at their school. They will be the liaison between the school
               district and the broker for training and quality control matters. The
               Pizza Hut® Champion must attend all training sessions conducted by
               the broker. They will be responsible for conducting any additional
               training that their school requires. Each will receive a Pizza Hut ®
               Champion certificate, hat, and t-shirt after the training is completed.
               The broker must submit a list of the Pizza Hut® Champions to J.O.Y.
               Foods on the “Pizza Hut® Champion Report Form” found in section
               4.4 of the Sales Tool Kit. J.O.Y. Foods will mail the certificates, hats,
               and t-shirts to the school district.

             A copy of the Pizza Hut® Pizza Pack Training Guide can be found in
               section 4.4 of the Sales Tool Kit. The Pizza Hut ® Pizza Pack Training
               Guide is also included in each smallwares kit. Additional training
               guides may be ordered from J.O.Y. Foods using the “POS and Broker
               Materials Order Form” found in section 8 of the Sales Tool Kit.
            The Pizza Hut® Pizza Pack Training Guide covers the following areas:
              receiving/storage, thawing, preparation, cooking and holding and
              serving of products.

            Review the Recipe Card and demonstrate assembly of a pizza.
            A copy of the Recipe Card can be found in section 4.4 of the Sales
              Tool Kit. A Recipe Card is also included in each smallwares kit.
              Additional recipe cards may be ordered from J.O.Y. Foods using the
              “POS and Broker Materials Order Form” found in section 8 of the
              Sales Tool Kit.
            The Recipe Card should be posted at the pizza workstation, or prep
              table at each operator site at all times.

         Fill out the ASFSA Continuing Education Credit Form (if appropriate)
            The American School Food Service Association (ASFSA) is providing
              two continuing education credits to any ASFSA member who attends
              Pizza Hut® Pizza Pack training. It is the broker’s responsibility to
              bring this form to the training session, ensure that the foodservice
              personnel attending the session have the opportunity to sign up for the
              continuing education credits, obtain the school district’s approval on
              the form, and return it to J.O.Y. Foods. A copy of the form can be
              found in section 4.4 of the Sales Tool Kit.

Quality Control Review
         The Quality Control Review is designed to evaluate the operator’s
         compliance with the Pizza Hut® standards of quality and service. Brokers,
         J.O.Y. Foods representatives, and designated school district personnel are
         responsible for conducting these reviews on a regular basis. J.O.Y. Foods
         will determine the schedule for Quality Control Reviews and communicate
         to the broker in charge of performing the review at least 30 days in advance
         of the review. A copy of the Quality Control Review form can be found in
         section 4.4 of the Sales Tool Kit.
