Greetings! Hope you are doing well. It’s the right time to share our happiness that the hospital is stepping forth on its 21st year. During this happiest occasion, we would like to share the volunteers’ activity as a report to all is to provide specialized information about the volunteers who served on June 2009 at Meenakshi Mission Hospital and this report can be a great way to develop a strong relationship between you and Meenakshi Mission Hospital.

98 Students voluntarily served at the hospital
Last month, students from Mahathma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Baba Building, Madurai and Mahathma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School, K.K. Nagar, Madurai and Meenakshi Mission Hospital College, Meenakshi Mission Hospital Campus, Madurai voluntarily enrolled their names to serve as volunteers in ‘patient relation departments such as

During a talk with one of the school principals about the student service in a hospital such ours’, she emphasized the need of such service as ‘a must-known service’, “the service can certainly mold the students in multi-dimensional way when they are directly involve in social activities such as this”. One of the escorting staff told, “Practically the students can learn the health system when they are in such voluntary service”. During the feedback session in every day, the students told that by helping the patients, attendees and staff, they can learn functions, systems and especially health awareness.

Reception, Pharmacy, Medical records department and Intensive Respiratory Care Unit (IRCU) and Laboratory. They have been served enthusiastically in the departments during the morning peak hours.
