Attached is a "New Jeweler Notebook" that can be used as an aid to
        help new jewelers when they sponsor a new jeweler.
The New Jeweler Notebook outlines step-by-step how to help a new
    jeweler get successfully off and running in her new business.
   PLEASE READ each section carefully! The Notebook contains
   suggestions for contest and prize incentives by the sponsoring
  jeweler. These are suggestions or recommendations but are not
 required. Please be sure you review them before offering them to
                         your new jeweler!

- Before The Training Show
__ Continue to Hostess coach her just as she will be Hostess coaching – getting all four
   bonuses,
   Two most important things (reminder calls, $100 in pre-orders).
__ Continue to get her to focus on getting a minimum of 6-9 shows on her calendar
   before her training show.

- Training Show
__ Walk through what will happen during the Training Show – what her role is for the
    show.
__ Explain that sponsor will handle customer orders and do checkout with guests.

―Okay girls, before we get started, I want a quick show of hands. How many of you have
never been to a Premier Designs Jewelry Show before?
Let me tell you what‘s going to happen. This is about fun, fashion, jewelry, and I‘m even
going to talk about how to make some money! Throughout the show, we are going to play
a game and walk through this survey.‖

Explain the Purse Game.
Pass out the Survey and say…
―Put this survey down for right now, because you will want your hands free in order to play
the Purse Game.‖

W – Welcome
• Introduce Guests.
• Introduce Self.
• Thank Hostess – Present the Hostess with the piece of jewelry/gift that she chose at the
previous show for playing the Play or Pass game. Have the guests write the Hostess’
name down on the top of the survey and have them put it away.

F – Fashion & First Impressions
―Did you know that in the first 30 seconds of meeting you, a person will form over a dozen
assumptions about
you strictly based on your appearance?‖

you a little bit
about my business. Even if you aren‘t interested, you may know of someone that is.‖

―I have brought with me some Information Packets so you can read and learn more about
this business in the
comfort of your own home. If you would like one, please let me know on your survey, so I‘ll
remember to give you one.‖

Close the Show:
• Have guests fill out the rest of the survey.
• Offer incentives for completed survey (drawing, ticket, etc.).
• Pass out order forms and catalogs.
• Explain the payment methods and any retail incentives you may be running.
• At check-out, get the shows booked on your calendar and pass out the information
packets (ask them when
you can call in the next couple of days to go over the information with them.)

Thank you all for coming out tonight to help support ______ in her new business venture.
______ has chosen a wonderful company to be associated with, and I am thrilled to have
her as my ―daughter‖ in Premier! As you can imagine, she’s excited and scared…all at
the same time!

Some of you have been asking how you can help ______ get started with her business.
Well, there is absolutely no pressure on you at all, but I want to tell you the three ways that
you can help ______ succeed.

First, if you do see something that you like to purchase for yourself or for a gift, just know
that everything that is purchased tonight will profit ______. Jewelers make 50% of
everything that they sell, and normally since I’m the one doing the show, that would go to
me. But since this is ______’s Training Show, she will receive all the profit. Plus, she will
receive all the free and half price jewelry for being the hostess tonight. And she will
receive all the future bookings from this night. In other words, if you say that you’d like to
host a show for yourself, ______ will be the one coming to your home!

So, the second and most important way that you can personally help ______ is to
schedule a show in the future. Just think about having a few girlfriends over to your place
and let ______ set her jewelry out. It’s a great Girls’ Night Out. Even if you typically don’t
do something like this, ______ needs to have a few people at the first say that she can
come and show her jewelry so that she can meet people that you know but that she
doesn’t. This will help keep her business going, and you’ll get lots of free jewelry. We’ll
talk more about that later.

The third way that you can help ______ out is to let her explain a little more about Premier
as a business to you. Premier doesn’t advertise, so the only way for women to hear about
this great opportunity for extra income is by hearing it from a jeweler. She needs people
to just sit down with her for 30 minutes to an hour over a cup of coffee or whatever and let
her tell you about Premier which is what she needs to do as a new jeweler. There’s no
obligation and never any pressure on you for anything. Or you may know someone who
has a need. ______ would love for you to give her any referrals for women who might be
interested in just hearing about how this business works. We will be offering something
as a fun incentive for those who will put a date on your calendars tonight, but we’ll get to
that later.

 It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to fill up your jewelry box!

Looping:     Using a 30" necklace with the clasp closed, bring the two
looped ends to the front of the neck (clasp in the back) and attach the two
loops together with a pin.


Pin as a Pendant:           Using a pin, attach to the front of a necklace.


Pendant on a Scarf:          Wear a scarf as a necklace or choker,
either slide or attach a pendant so that it dangles.


Extending:      Attach matching bracelet and necklace with the same
type clasps to make necklace longer.


Twisting:    Using a circular motion, twist two necklaces around each
other and clasp in the back. (you may need to use a clip-it)


Doubling:        Double a 30" necklace to create a 15" choker.


Making a "Y" Necklace:            Using a 30" necklace, attach the clasp
in front a couple of inches from the other end, leaving a couple of
inches dangling to form a "Y".


Shortening:       Instead of leaving the necklace clasped normally,
clasp it further in and leave the remainder hanging down your back.


Flipping:     Take two necklaces about the same length, one with a
pendant, "flip" pendant necklace through other necklace a couple of
times.


Layering:        Put two necklaces together to create a "layered" look. (one
on top of the other)

Instead of carrying around a briefcase with the things you need to help with your guest
checkout, try using a binder which is portable and doesn’t take up much space. You will
be able to walk around assisting the ladies while they are shopping and when someone
needs to be checked out, you can still be near the table with all of your supplies in hand.
