Tips range from $30 to $50 per week during peak season.
Work Hours: You will usually be working 6 hours per day, 6 days per week. You
should end up working 30-40 hours per week. Note: there are a lot of hours available
in early June and from July through September. Late June is quiet but the work will
pick up later in the season. You may discuss with your employer the possibility of
working a second job, but you MUST understand that your primary obligation is first
job.
Accommodation Cost: $70 per week
Accommodation Description: You will be living in Lake George where
arrangements have been made so that you will pay $75-$85 per week. There will be
lots of other international students staying here. You should expect to share a room
with 2-4 other people. You will be responsible for buying your own food most of the
time. Please bring about $400 to cover the first few weeks of living expenses.

Description of Area: Lake George is located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, is
approximately 32 miles long and is nearly 3 miles wide. Much of the shoreline is
unsettled, and through federal and state conservation efforts, will remain so. Small
communities surround the lake, each lending its own unique style and way of life. For
vacationers the area offers a mix of attractions, restaurants, shops, beach, and boat
rides. It is a popular resort destination.

Salary Per Hour: $7.15, $4.60 for tipped positions. In a tipped position the majority
of earnings will be coming from tips.

student. All linens are provided as well as all housing supplies including a stove,

outside the town of Lake Placid, New York that consists of a main building, three tent
