Dear Mr. Gibbs,

This is to inform you about an issue that has been brought to the attention of the Interagency Aerial
Ignition Working Group regarding the MSDS requirement to utilize a dust mask when working
with FIRE-TROL FIREGEL.

There are different interpretations by the Agencies Health and Safety representatives as to the
requirements for medical testing and fit testing for these dust masks.

We, the Interagency Aerial Ignition Working Group (IAIWG) would like to petition to you for
clarification of the requirements of utilization of a dust mask so that it can be included in the 2007
edition of the Interagency Aerial Ignition Guide. We would like to have a reply by January 31,
2007.

As of the January 8, 2007 Carl Romnes will be Chair of the IAIWG. You may contact him at 505-
759-3963 office or 505-469-4121 cell. Vince Welbaum will be the Co-Chair. You may contact
him at 907-271-5258 office, or 907-351-0143 cell.
