      Penalty fares
Remember that your Tube, DLR, bus and tram
ticket, or Oyster Pre Pay, must cover the
whole of your journey and all the zones in
     which you wish to travel.
It is your responsibility to have the correct
ticket, either printed or charged to your
Oyster card, or when using Pre Pay, to have
validated your Oyster card. Anyone who
cannot produce, on request, a valid ticket or
validated Oyster card for their complete
journey on the Tube, DLR, buses or Tramlink
is liable to pay a Penalty fare or may be liable
to prosecution. Penalty fares also apply on
     some National Rail services.
