Client Frequently Asked Questions 1. Are we in competition with Google and does Google approve of our business practices? No, we are not in competition with Google and Yes, AdzZoo is an approved Google Adwords qualified provider. We actually bring clients to Google that would not otherwise use Google services. 2. Is AdzZoo a Search Engine? No. AdzZoo is an SEM. A Service Engine Management Firm that specializes in creating and optimizing for small and medium size businesses and giving them a web presence. 3. How often will my ad appear on search engines? AdzZoo guarantees that a customer will be seen on the first page of Google, but cannot guarantee the amount of exposure. Example: A Ford dealership may have more exposure than a BMW dealership due to Ford’s greater share of the market. AdzZoo can be compared to a digital billboard on the information super highway; customers will be in rotation with other advertisers. 4. On what search engines will my business be seen? AdzZoo pushes your information out to all the major search engines. Google, Ask, About, Comcast, CNN, Dogpile, and many other engines will show AdzZoo customers very quickly. 5. Why is optimization so important? Search engines are in the business of delivering the best, most relevant, results for each search query. This relevant information is obtained through algorithms that travel and catalog (spider) the billions of websites on the Internet to determine which websites are relevant to that particular query. Relevant sites are then ranked from 1 to X and displayed in that order. Optimization includes: website content, website structure, meta keywords, key phrases, geo‐targeted marketing, links to your site, web traffic, and many other factors that increase the relevancy of an online presence. Without proper optimization, websites are lost in a sea of information! 6. Why do I need AdzZoo’s website, I have one of my own? AdzZoo customized websites not only provide an additional web presence for our clients but more importantly provide an optimized web presence designed for search engines results and additional exposure in our directory. AdzZoo drives web traffic to your website through an optimized AdzZoo site link. 7. Can I request or change the domain name of my AdzZoo website? Your AdzZoo website domain name (XYZcompany.AdzZoo.com) cannot be changed. Having an optimized AdzZoo.com site link as a part of the name allows our clients to take advantage of organic search clicks and additional exposure, building our customers a more comprehensive online presence. Clients may purchase a domain from a domain provider (like GoDaddy.com) and then point that domain to their AdzZoo site as well. 8. Can I change, add or remove content on my AdzZoo website? Because each client’s website is designed to work in coordination with their keywords, site structure and content, websites cannot be changed, added to, or removed. The only exception is if the information was entered incorrectly or does not properly describe the business or service offered. (i.e. incorrect address/phone #, or if the site describes details of a product or service that the client does not provide, etc.) 9. Can I change, add or remove keywords? Because each client’s keywords are designed to work in coordination with their site structure and content we cannot change, add, or remove keywords. Many times a customer requests keywords that may not be best suited for that client’s business. Example: a bike shop owner wants ‘bike’ as a keyword. However, “bike” vs. “bikes” would be a 9 to 1 difference in available searches; and “bicycle shop” brings people ready to buy. Allow our experts to select the words based on what your local customers are actually typing in the search window. 10. ‘Shopping’ keywords vs. ‘Buying’ keywords ‐ what is the difference? Different keywords produce different results and target different markets. More clicks are not always better. Example: “Ford” is a word that would get a dealership a great deal of exposure and clicks – but ‘shopping’ clicks. On the other hand, “Ford F150 Tampa” would not get as many impressions and clicks, but the resulting clicks would be ‘buying’ clicks – customers ready to make that purchase. AdzZoo uses a combination of broad terms and refined phrases to access shoppers and buyers alike. Also, many times ‘shopping’ keywords have increased competition and have your sales staff wasting value time with the “tire kickers” while valuable buyers are ready to make a purchase. 11. Do our clients get to choose their own keywords? No. Our Google experts very carefully research and choose all keywords for optimization of the landing page. 12. Do keyword searches have to include a city and state in order to show up on the 1st page of Google? This question actually depends on which area you are talking about. An area that has its own IP address (i.e. Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, L.A., etc.) will not require a city and state. However, smaller areas, including suburbs of major cities, generally require a city and state in order to provide the best results. 13. What if my client cannot find their site using the provided keywords? First, please be sure you are entering the keywords exactly as they have been given to you. If you are outside of the campaign radius, please enter the campaign area with the keyword to pull up the ad. 14. If someone is outside of the campaign radius, will the ad still show if they use the city? Yes, if the city name is part of the keywords, then even outside the search radius they still have an opportunity to be seen if they type in the city. 15. If a business does not have a website, do we make them a full site or just a landing page? We currently only set up a landing page for our clients but, additional services such as website building, will be available soon. 16. Can AdzZoo reroute the link on Google to the client’s website, instead of the landing page? The landing page is optimized, which allows for more exposure during searches. If AdzZoo reroutes to the customer’s website, which is not optimized, the search engine will recognize this process and penalize the link so that it will not get as much exposure. 17. What is Geo‐Targeting? Geo‐targeting is a unique technology that focuses each client’s online AdzZoo campaign to a specific geographic area. This technology allows our clients to target specific areas of town, a metro neighborhood, entire cities or even larger tri‐state regions. Focus your money in your target market! 18. How accurate is Geo‐Targeting? Geo‐Targeting is only as accurate as IP addresses, which are 80‐85% accurate. This means that Geo‐ Targeting is generally more accurate in larger cities that have their own IP address, such as New York. But, if you live in a smaller area, or a suburb, it will most likely target the area of the closest IP address. 19. What is the difference in an Organic link and a Sponsored link? Organic links are the natural (or free) results that search algorithms find, rank and list. They are typically displayed on the left‐side of the search engine results page. Organic listings cannot be purchased and take time and proper optimization before they are shown. Sponsored links are paid advertising links that populate quickly and are typically on the top and right‐side of the search engine results page. The cost for this varies greatly depending on many factors such as keywords, competition, search volume, and how well the website is optimized. 20. My client is not showing up in the Sponsored Links. Why? The client will not necessarily come up every time. They are in a rotation, like a rotating billboard on a major highway. However, if after the initial seven days, the client does not show up any time you search over a 3 day period, submit Support Ticket from AdzZoo Support. The AdzZoo support team will run an analysis on the account. 21. Does AdzZoo push me out organically or through sponsored links? Both! Because it takes time and proper optimization for ads to show organically, we ensure our customers are gaining visibility on the search engines within 3 days via sponsored links. 22. Are Sponsored Links Pay Per Click? The sponsored links are a pay per click service through Google however, AdzZoo does NOT charge their clients that pay per click charge. Instead, AdzZoo charges a set monthly fee. 23. Are our sponsored ads online 24/7? No, most of our sponsored links appear between 6am and midnight local time. This allows customers to see our clients’ ads during the times when they are more likely to take action. There are some exceptions though. For example: if a business is open 24 hours, then the ad can be requested to run during that entire 24 hour period, because potential customers can always take action. Also, if a business is only open from 9‐5, and only wants their ad to show during that time, that can be arranged as well. 24. How do our campaigns differ from On‐line Yellow Page ads in the Sponsored Links? Online Directories provide links to the industry categories, not specific businesses. For example: If a person clicks on a Yellow Page ad, they are taken to the Yellow Pages website where they see a list of business in their area. If that same person were to click on an AdzZoo ad, they would see a specific landing page for one of our clients. 25. What is the “Search Network”? The search network and partners is made up of thousands of high traffic websites, networks and mobile devices – like the iPhone – that we push our ads out to in each client’s geo‐targeted market. Websites like AOL, Ask, Shopping, CNN, Food Network, PGA, Redbook, Facebook, EBay, MySpace, Popular Mechanics, and thousands of others ‐ building your online brand in your targeted market. The search network matches like business with like industries. Example: an auto parts store would likely appear on a website like “Popular Mechanics” while a hair salon would more likely to appear on “Redbook’s” website. 26. What if a business owner is already on Google Maps? Google Maps is one of three different exposure components on the search engine. Google Maps is also very limited in scope, in terms of words and exposure area. Also, many times the results on the map are not linked to a website or landing page. AdzZoo can get customers on the map, or, if they are already on it, claim the listing and link it to an optimized landing page. 27. How long will it take the client to get onto Google Maps? Google Maps has a very technical process that is difficult to predict. The time it will take a client to register on the map can be anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks. Unfortunately, this process is beyond our control and all we can do is optimize each site so that it will be more likely to be picked up by the program. 28. Is this a flat fee or a pay‐per‐click service? One set monthly fee, we do not charge a per‐click fee. 29. How will I know how many people saw or clicked on my ad? AdzZoo will send you a monthly detailed report of your ad’s impressions and clicks. 30. How many click‐throughs can a customer expect during 24 hours for a given campaign? There is no way to accurately predict the number of click‐throughs in a 24 hour period due to the large number of external factors. However, the Monthly Reports shows the number of impressions and click‐ throughs for the month. 31. Can a client run over budget in 3 weeks and get no exposure in week 4? No. A budget is made for everyday of the week to make sure the client has a presence the entire month. 32. Do we guarantee that the client will come up on 1st page every time? No. We guarantee they will be on the first page rotation, like buying a rotating billboard on a major highway. Sometimes their ad will show and sometimes it will not. However, some exposure on page one of a Google search is better than all the exposure in the world on page 228, which is no exposure at all. See AdzZoo Guarantee. 33. What if 30 plumbers in the same area use AdzZoo? How will they all appear on Page One? Just like a digital billboard, they will be shown in a rotation. It is also possible they will not all have the same keywords and therefore, will come up in different queries. Also, just like in the yellow pages, they will still be in competition for customers who see more than one ad. 34. If I have a problem who should I contact? You may contact AdzZoo Support and open a support ticket at AdzZooSupport.com. A customer service representative will be in touch with you as soon as possible. Also, many of your questions can be answered by your independent campaign director. 35. Can I pay monthly? Ad campaigns can be converted to monthly payments after the initial term has been completed. 36. Can I cancel at any time? The customer has a 3 day rescission period. After this period, the customer is charged for the agreed upon term. 37. How do I cancel the AdzZoo service? An email will be sent to all customers five days prior to the end of the term. The customer can choose to cancel or continue at that time. 38. Does AdzZoo offer larger regional or national campaigns? Yes. AdzZoo offers custom regional and national campaigns, each individually scoped and priced. Contact your independent campaign director for more information. 39. Can a client upgrade to a larger package without waiting for the current package to expire? Yes, it is possible to change packages in the middle of a campaign although it is suggested to do this at the end of a month. It can be the end of any month within the campaign, but this allows AdzZoo to change the payment plan accordingly, without the client being over or undercharged for any given month of the campaign. .
