                -Fresh Fruit Retail Leader Also Introduces Quality Guarantee-

WALLINGFORD, CT – March 01, 2010 - Edible Arrangements, the pioneer and leader in hand-sculpted,
fresh-fruit arrangements, announced that beginning today its stores nationwide will be open later and on
Sundays to better meet consumers needs. New minimum business hours will be Monday through Friday,
8 AM to 7 PM; Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM; and for a minimum of five hours on Sunday.

This announcement is part of the company’s 2010 System Performance Standards Initiative, which
includes enhancing customer service around the country. As part of this initiative, Edible Arrangements
has also introduced a new “Quality Guarantee” to ensure customers will be 100% satisfied with the
freshness or quality of their arrangement. Storefront remodels are also underway to make each location a
more inviting and warm shopping destinations for consumers.

“We pride ourselves on now offering ‘Fruit In A Flash’ where customers can place an in-person order and
walk out of a store shortly thereafter with their customized arrangement. By extending retail hours and
adding Sunday operations, we are making ourselves more available to better serve last minute shoppers
