Fake Chinese Eggs The Chinese are apt of copying any object, gadget or product. But who thought that they would make artificial eggs? This is the top of their copying art. Apparently, the fake eggs so remind the real ones, that it is very difficult to distinguish them with a naked eye.

Here are the ingredients used to fabricate the artificial eggs. Chemical terms are given in translation from the Chinese, so I'm not entirely sure that they are accurate. To make an eggshell, calcium carbonate is used, for egg yolk and egg white sodium alginate, alum, Gelatin, calcium chloride and pigment.. I wonder, what are they going to fake next? :)
