Position Summary:
The Hospital Medical Sales Representative develops and executes a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue
growth to the hospital market to meet assigned sales goals by providing solutions that enable improving patient care
through digital pathology for the territory. Candidate will have an impressive history of consistent sales success to
hospitals in complex Medical Capital Equipment Sales or Software Solution Sales (LIS, HIS, or PACS). The position
will require aggressive activity, independent initiative and excellent skills focusing on differentiation, territory
management, forecasting, negotiating and closing while working within the existing sales team environment. You
should be comfortable calling on the C-Suite, delivering vision, and orchestrating multi departmental/site evaluations.


The Hospital Medical Sales Representative candidates will need to have:

     •   5-10 years experience in high level complex Medical Capital Equipment or Software Solutions Sales (LIS, HIS,
         PACS) selling within the hospitals.
     •   Experience in pathology product sales, radiology imaging sales or cardiology imaging sales with a strong
         understanding of business
     •   Previous experience targeting hospital accounts that would benefit from Aperio’s digital pathology product
         line.
     •   Ability to develop and execute a sales strategy focusing on the targeted accounts for the territory
     •   Proven experience generating revenue in line with company expectations
     •   Background of coordinating effective sales activities within national , multi-site, hospital and/or IDN’s.
     •   Experience in implementing programs to accelerate target market penetration

Candidate will need to live in Denver, Salt Lake City, or Kansas City and available to travel throughout the Midwest
Region to include: UT, CO, KS, ID, WY, NE, MT, SD, ND

    Qualifications
    • Proven record of successful Medical Capital Equipment Sales or Software Solutions Sales into the hospitals
    • Ability to create sales plans and activities to exceed sales goals
    • Demonstrates outstanding professional communication and interpersonal skills; communicates with C-suite
       level, pathologists, doctors, laboratory managers, internal partners
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timeframes
    • High level of initiative, creative thinking, decision making and problem resolution skills
    • Inherent ability to influence of others

Requirements
   • BA/BS
   • 5-10 years successful selling experience into hospitals
   • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
   • Extensive knowledge of the pathology market is highly desirable
   • Track record of rapidly and consistently generating sales revenue
   • Must have a car large enough to hold a ScanScope, a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
   • Ability to travel a significant percentage of time
