Healthy cooking has never been so much fun! These classes are designed
to be practical with easy to follow recipes. Even if you have no prior
experience in the kitchen you will gain all of the basic knowledge you
need to prepare fresh, organic dishes “from scratch”- many of which are
prepared and cooked in 30-40 minutes. Every class has a fun and exciting
“theme”, and every month will have at least one vegetarian class.

Class fees: $65 per class

Friday, August 13th, 6:30 pm HEALTHY ALL NATURAL BEEF
(Antibiotic/hormone/steroid-free)
        What’s for dinner? Beef! Learn how to cook and prepare beef in the healthiest way with
this recipe, and learn how to naturally reduce the fat content!
        -Beef stir-fry with Romaine and Bok Choy
        -Grain pilaf

Friday, August 20th, 6:30 pm SALMON
        Regular consumption of fish is important to maintaining good health, as well as
preventing heart disease. Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, and this tasty recipe
will have you coming back for seconds!
        -Orange glazed roasted salmon over sautéed pasta and vegetables

Wednesday, August 25th, 7 pm WHOLE GRAINS
       Whole grains are the anchor of good long standing health. They aid in digestive health
and are packed with minerals, b-vitamins, and fiber. These basic recipes will inspire you to
make the whole grain a major part of every meal
       -Bulgar and Basmati rice pilaf, Quinoa pilaf with almonds and raisins, basic Millet and
       rolled Kamut w/carrots
    Friday, August 27th, 6:30 pm VEGETARIAN POLISH/EASTERN EUROPEAN
             Experience the delicacies or traditional ethnic polish foods without all the extra
    salt or fat! Just like grandma used to make.
             Perogie, borscht, roasted roots, and grains

    Wednesday, September 1st, 7 pm BASIC VEGETABLES WORKSHOP
         Learn different techniques to cook vegetables in a quick, no-hassle way.
         -Assorted vegetables

    Friday, September 10th, 6:30 pm VEGETABLE SOUP FOR THE FALL
          This soup will keep you and your family warm in the coming fall and winter
    months. Simple to prepare, easy to cook, and really inexpensive!
          -Barley-rice vegetable soup
