Information for Guests Thank you for booking your place at a Worldview Centre event. The information here will help to ensure you have what you need for your stay. Where: Worldview Centre, 42 Brooks Rd., Balmoral Ridge (Maleny), QLD, just off the Maleny-Montville Road. Directions on how to get here by car, by public transport or by shuttle bus from the airport are on the following pages. Accommodation: If you are NOT staying on-site at the Worldview Centre, you can download a list of local accommodation options from our website (click Guest Info on the home page). What to Bring: Your most important resources are an open mind and relaxed heart. The weather in South East Queensland is usually hot and rainy in summer (Dec-April) and dry and clear in winter (June-Oct) and anybody’s guess in the overlap seasons. In winter it can get quite cool in the evenings (~10o C). We recommend: seasonally adjusted layered clothing to cover all possibilities. please bring at least one pair of long trousers for walking (even in summer). slip-on shoes/sandals for around the centre. walking boots suitable for rough and possibly damp terrain (sandals are not adequate for walking on this property due to the steepness of some of the terrain and the uneven surfaces). a notebook or journal. hat. water bottle. insect repellent. we provide bedding and pillows, but please BYO towel. ear plugs (if you are a light sleeper). an artpad and pastels or pencils if you express yourself in that way. We do not recommend you bring any of the usual distractions (books, iPods, laptops, etc), although a cell phone is recommended if you intend to walk on the property. Dietary Needs: Our standard menu is vegetarian, with a wheat and gluten free option. We do cook with eggs and cheese, but avoid peanuts, onion, mushrooms and chilli. If you have additional needs or a health condition that requires dietary consideration, please give us clear advice in advance.
