This student guide demonstrates how to setup your bank account, debit card and credit card information for faster
online bill paying.

 The MySJSU homepage
 displays.

 1. Go to MySJSU
    (http://my.sjsu.edu/).

 2. Click the Login to
    MySJSU button.




 The Login page displays.

 3. Enter your User ID and
    Password.

 4. Click the Sign In button.

 Note: If you have difficulty
 logging in, please contact the
 CMS Help Desk via email
 (cmshelp@sjsu.edu) with
 your full name and SJSU ID.

The SJSU Payment Home
page displays.

5. Click the Student
   Account Options button.

The TouchNet Home page
displays.

7. Click the My Profiles tab.




The Personal Profile page
displays.

8. Click the Payment
   Profile tab.




The Payment Profile page
displays.

9. Use the drop-down menu
   to select Bank Account
   (checking/savings).

10. Click the Go button.

The Bank Account
Information page displays.

11. Enter the required
    information. (Descriptions
    are listed below.)

12. Click the Save button.




Field Descriptions:

•   Account Nickname: Enter a nickname for the account (e.g. Primary Checking)

•   Account Type: Use the drop-down menu to select the account type.

•   ABA Routing Number: Click the View Details hyperlink for details.

•   Account Number: Enter the bank account number.

•   Confirm Account Number: Enter the bank account number again.

•   Name on Account: Enter the full name on the account.

•   Refund Option: Check this box if you would like any future refunds to be electronically deposited into this
    account.

The Payment Agreement
page displays.

13. Read the agreement
    carefully.

14. Enter the last 4 digits of
    your SJSU ID.

15. Click the I Agree button.




The Payment Profile page
displays indicating that
your payment method has
been saved.

16. Use the drop-down menu
    to select Credit/Debit
    Card (credit card or ATM
    debit card).

17. Click the Go button.

The Account Information
page displays.

18. Enter your ATM debit
    card number. Do not
    include dashes or
    spaces.

19. Click the Continue
    button.




The Debit Card Information
page displays.

20. Choose Payment Type:
    Use the radio buttons to
    select Debit Only as the
    payment type.

21. Enter the required
    account information.
    (Descriptions are listed
    below.)

22. Click the Save button.




Field Descriptions:

•   Choose Payment Type: Use the radio buttons to select Debit Only as a payment type.

•   Card Number: Enter the ATM debit card number. Do not include dashes or spaces.

•   Account Nickname: Enter a nickname for the account (e.g. My Debit Card)

•   Cardholder Name: Enter the full name as it appears on the card.

•   Expiration Date: Use the drop-down menus to select the expiration date on the card.

•   Credit Card Type: Use the drop-down menus to select the credit card type.

    information. (Descriptions
    are listed below.)

28. Click the Save button.

•   Cardholder Name: Enter the full name on the card.

•   Expiration Date: Use the drop-down menus to select the card expiration date.

•   Credit Card Type: Use the drop-down menus to select the credit card type.
