(i) For Govt Servant. – Salary Certificate from the Employer and
Affidavit of Income as per Annexure-III from the District Court or Sub-
Divisional Court where the parent is living/working and Agriculture Income
Certificate from the CO.
(ii) For Others. – Affidavit of Income as per Annexure-III from the
District Court or Sub-Divisional Court where the parent is living/working and
Agriculture Income Certificate from the BDO/CO.
(iii) For Defence Candidates. – Certificate of Income as per
Annexure-III A.
(d) Certificate of Income from the Employer in case of employed persons
whose son/ward is a Full Fee Paying candidate.
(e) Affidavit of Domicile from the District Court or Sub-Divisional Court where
the parent is living/working as per specimen attached at Annexure-IV.
(f) Certificate of Domicile from the competent authority of the District or
Sub-Division where the parent is living/working as per specimen attached at
Annexure-IVA.

(g) Undertaking from Defence Candidates as per specimen enclosed at
Annexure-V.
(h) Inoculation/Vaccination Certificate from a registered Medical
Practitioner/Govt Doctor as per specimen attached at Annexure-VI.
(j) Original Caste Certificate from DC/DM/SDO of the place of permanent
residence in case of SC/ST candidates as per specimen attached at Annexure-VII.
(k) Original Discharge Certificate along with photocopy of the same in case of
Ex-Service Personnel and recent certificate from the OC of the unit in case of
Serving Personnel.
(l) An affidavit from the parents/guardian sworn before SDO/First Class
Magistrate in the effect that the documents submitted/information given by him are
correct and no information has been kept concealed.
NOTE :-
(i) Domicile Certificate is also required from Full Fee Paying
Candidates.
(ii) Any change in the wording in the specimen from/performa is not
acceptable.
(iii) The admission will be denied if the required
documents/certificates are not produced at the time of admission.
3. The amount of fee to be paid to the school at the time of admission is given in
Appendix-A to this letter.
4. The parents/guardians will be required to pay the fee and other charges/dues as
per the order of Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi from time to time. Based of parents’
income, the tuition fee is reimbursable to the parents when the scholarship money is
approved and released by the State/central Govt. This is generally done at the end of the
financial year. Till the Govt releases the scholarship money, all children will be required to
pay full fee.
5. The items of clothing/equipment to be provided by the school on payment at the
time of admission are listed at Appendix-B.
6. List of items given in Appendix-C will be provided by the school against clothing
charges of Rs 1500/-.
7. List of items issued by the school at the time of admission is given at Appendix-D.
These items are recoverable from the students while leaving the school.
8. Please note that your son/ward will not be admitted in the school in case you fail to
bring complete documents and money in the form of Demand Draft on the day of
admission.
9. In the event of your son/ward not being able to come to the school in person on the
appointed day of admission due to illness, you are requested to come to school in person
with all documents/certificates and a medical certificate regarding the illness of your
son/ward. If no intimation is received on the due date, the candidature of your son/ward
will be cancelled and the vacancy will be allotted to the next boy in the waiting list.

10. Parents may please note that the admission of their son/ward is liable to
cancellation at any stage in case it is found that the parents/guardians have submitted
false/incorrect information/documents or withheld any relevant information to ensure
fraudulent admission. A candidate will be immediately withdrawn at any stage if it is
detected that the candidate has been admitted in violation of the existing rules and no
liability whatsoever shall fall on the school. The decision of the Principal shall be final and
binding. For fraudulent admission, if any, legal proceedings may also be initiated
against the concerned parents/guardians, if required.
11. In case of any doubt, the clarification issued by the school authorities will be final
and binding.

AGREEMENT FORM TO BE EXECUTED BY THE PARENTS/GUARDIANS
OF STUDENTS OTHER THAN FULL FEE PAYING AT SAINIK SCHOOL TILAIYA
This AGREEMENT is made this _______________day of _________2010
between ________________of ____________________________ (hereinafter called the
Guarantor, which expression shall unless excluded by the context or the meaning thereof
deemed to include his heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives) of the
one part and the Board of Governors, Sainik Schools Society (hereinafter) called the
‘Governors’ which expression shall unless excluded by the context or the meaning thereof
be deemed to include the Principal of the Sainik School Tilaiya on the other part.
WHEREAS__________________, S/O _________________________________
(hereinafter called the student) is the son/ward of the guarantor and has at the request of
the guarantor been selected for admission to the Sainik School Tilaiya inter alia, on the
terms and condition hereinafter appearing for the purpose of receiving education with a
view to making the regular Armed Forces his profession in life, if considered by the
appropriate authority to be suitable and if there is any vacancy and if he be selected.
NOW IT IS HEREBY agreed by and BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS
FOLLOWS: -
That in consideration of the student being admitted by the Governors to the Sainik
School for the purpose of the aforesaid education at the request of the guarantor,
covenants with Governors that the student will attend the Sainik School regular and will
observe and comply with all the rules and regulations thereof for the prescribed period or
until he is declared for admission to any institution as may from time to time prescribed
by the Governors, for training for entry to the Regular Armed Forces and that he, the
guarantor shall pay to the Governors regularly and promptly and whenever called upon to
do so all the fees as prescribed, if he is not in receipt of any scholarship.
That if for any reasons not beyond the control of either the student or the guarantor
the student fails to pursue his studies at the said school before appearing for selection for
entry to any institution as may from time to time be prescribed by the Governors for
training for entry to the Regular Armed Forces or fails to appear for the said selection or in
the event of his no succeeding in the said selection, fails to re-appear for selection, till
such time as his age permits him to do so, according to the rules and regulations.
For the time being is force or having been declared successful at the said selection
does not proceed to one of the said institutions to which he may be directed to proceed
for being trained for entry into the Regular Armed Forces or having joined the said
institutions fails to complete the training there at for the entry into the regular Armed
Forces or fails to join the regular Armed Forces after completing the training at the said
institution, then and in any such case, the guarantor shall forthwith pay to the Governors
in cash the sum the student has received from the school and/or the State
Government/Central Government the value of the scholarship he has received for the
period the student was at the said school.
That if after admission any of the following viz; proof of Domicile, Certificate of age
and Statement of income supplied by the guarantor, is found to be false in any way or not
in order the guarantor shall forthwith pay to the Governors in cash the sum the student
has received from the school and/or the State Government/central Government the value
of the scholarships he has received for the period the student was at the said school,

That if after admission, the student is found to be medically unfit in any way at the time
which might, according to the opinion of the appropriate medical authority, render him
unfit for the future entry to the Regular Armed Forces, the student will be withdrawn at
once, but it would be open to the guarantor to retain him at the school on payment of the
full fee prescribed by the Governors from the date student is found medically unfit.
That the Governors will not be liable for any damages/charges on account of
injuries which may be sustained by the student at any time during his stay in the school
while taking part in sports or other extra-curricular activities of the school. All expenses
that may be incurred in treatment of such injuries will be borne by the parent/guardian as
provided in rules of the said school.
And that if there is any dispute as to the effect or meaning of these presents or in
any way touching or arising out of these presents, the same shall be referred to the sole
arbitration of the Board of Governors, Sainik Schools, whose decision shall be final.

Please bring the proof of age of your son/ward as per details given below at the
time of admission: -
(a) Boys who have previously attended schools recognized by the State Board
of Secondary Education
Date of Birth indicated in the Transfer Certificate issued by the previous
school duly countersigned by District Education Officer.
(b) Boys who have not attended any recognized school
An extract from the Register of Births maintained by the Municipal
Committee/Board/Corporation, duly attested for Class-VI only.
(c) Boys whose parents are Defence Personnel or Ex-Service Personnel
Only the date of birth entered in the Service documents maintained in the
Records Office of respective services will be accepted. Serving personnel
will be required to produce certified copy of extract of Part-II Order in
support of date of birth of their son/ward, without which admission will not be
granted. In case of children born after an individual’s release/retirement
from service, the date of birth of child entered in DO Pt II and certified by
District Soldier Board will be accepted.

2. The Tuition Fee amount is reimbursable to the extent of full, half and quarter
scholarship granted by the Central/State Govt depending on parental monthly income. This is
normally done at the end of the financial year and hence money when received is credited to
the student’s account.
3. Tuition Fee of Rs 52,493/- can be paid annually/half yearly/quarterly. In case
parents/guardians opt to pay tuition fee in instalments, they will be required to pay amount
as shown below at the time of admission:-

4. The above mentioned fee is under revision at Sainik Schools Society and the

within 1st Quarter.
5. Amount to be paid later by parents/guardians opted for payment of tuition fee in
instalments is as under:-
(a) For parents opted for half yearly payment of tuition fee : Rs 26,347/- in Oct 11.
(b) For parents opted for quarterly payment of tuition fee : Rs 13,223/- each in
Jul 11, Oct 11 and Jan 12.
6. Parents are required to provide the items mentioned at Appendix ‘B’ to their son/ward.
