Message from Compliance Administrator
 PT Panasonic Semiconductor Indonesia (PSCID) has been strictly concern in environmental issue by                       picture
 complying all applicable environmental regulations. Committee for safety and Environment has built to
 control environmental activities. Starting from this year we has successfully renewal and upgrading
 certification of the environmental to ISO14001 ver. 2000.
 Improvement of our performance has been continuously done through promoting energy saving activity,
 waste reduction activity, controlling chemical usage and intensively monitoring environmental quality
 and resources. All of the activity is our contribution to protecting environment and safety.

Main activities in FY2009


    Target                                                              Result
    CO2 emissions: 7% reduction                                         11.69% CO2 reduction is Achieved, this reduction as impact from
                                                                        CO2 reduction program and implementation of "Eco Shutdown".

    Waste generation: 2% reduction                                      We focused Activity to reduce waste quantity from the manufac-
                                                                        turing process and recycling program. The achievement rate is
                                                                        38.88%.
    Reducing water usage: 2.5% reduction                                We use RO-flasing water for General cleaning and Car washing,
                                                                        by this activity we can reduction 2.64% compare from FY2008.

Environmental Policy
 We at PT Panasonic Semiconductor Indonesia acknowledge our obligation to maintain and improve the environment of
 Indonesia while we strive to fullfil our mission of contributing to the sustainable development of Indonesia society.

    1. Observe all applicable environmental legislation of Republic of Indonesia, local regulation and
       Panasonic Environmental Control Policy (Environmental Charter)
    2. Evaluate the environmental impacts including human caused by the bussiness activity of PSCID
       and make every effort to reduce any negative environmental effects
    3. Establish, implement and maintain a management system, which encompasses continual
       improvement of environmental preservation activities and the prevention of pollution.
    4. Set environmental objective and Targets at the time of making the annual bussiness plan and review
       the result as a part of annual bussiness results review.

 PSCID shall ensure that employees are aware of their role in the implementation of this policy and the achievement of
 objectives and targets.

Aiming to reduction of environmental impact

                               Wastewater and air ambient monitor periodically
                               To prevent waste water pollution that caused oils, fats and grease. we use grease
                               trap and clean it twice in a month. To confirm if there're no problem with the waste-
                               water and air in the presence of local residents and municipal official, we're co-
                               operating with Sucofindo Laboratory to analyze the wastewater and air ambient in
                               factory area.
                               This activities runs periodically; once per month for wastewater monitoring,
                               and twice a year for air ambient


                               Used Domestic Waste for produce Fertilizer
                               As one of effort to reduce Effect from Domestic waste, we use canteen waste
                               to produce fertilizer and send to estate management as our contribution on
                               Corporate social response program. By this Activity we also can reduce
                               domestic's waste around 8.65 ton.

                          management of waste water, waste generation, and the air pollution within factory
                          scope


Emergency preparedness and response
About our concept and training plan
We have implemented procedure to prevent, reduce and handle emergencies at company and to define
protection from the potential hazards associated with the unexpected release of hazardous energy, chemical
leakage, employee epidemic, for employee performing work. Emergency preparedness training held once per
year, and the SHC (Safety & Health Committee) have refresh training every once per year.
