Each section should be completed. They include: 1. Energy Benchmarking Information 2. Detailed Facility Information 3. Occupant and Equipment Schedules 4. Energy Consumption This information will allow National Grid to: Better understand the building’s operating characteristics, Calculate the building’s energy intensity through generating an ENERGY STAR Building benchmarking score, and Calculate the cost effectiveness of energy efficiency opportunities. The Energy Consumption data needed is detailed on the Energy Consumption Tab. For National Grid customers (electric and gas) the billing and energy use data will be obtained from National Grid’s computers. Please provide a copy of one electric and one gas bill to verify that the appropriate data is obtained. Customers who purchase natural gas from another utility will need to provide copies of the bills for the most recent 24 consecutive months. Customers with a power purchase or gas supply agreement will need to provide documentation of the purchase rate and the contract period. Customers that use oil will need to provide copies of the oil bills for the last 24 consecutive months.
