Combined Clubs Supersprints – Club Day: MGCC, HSCC, MCCT 31st October 2010

This is the day that the car clubs set aside for ‘normal’ drivers to come out to a race circuit and ‘have-a-
go’ in a controlled and safe environment. No matter what your style of car;

             a classic sports car . . .       or an older version . . .         or, well any beautiful ‘old’ thing . . .

                             or something weird . . .                     or really out there . . .

                            or your Maserati or Audi . . . or something brand new . . .

          or your mates muscle car. . . or an old race car you have in the ‘shed, even your van.

              Just bring it out to Baskerville on Sunday October 31.
          And tell your mates who may want to come and ‘have-a-go’ too.
You will need to pass a simple scrutineering (e.g. firm battery restraint / fire extinguisher), have a helmet
(HSCC has some if you need) and have a type Level 2S driver’s licence from CAMS for $100.

Regularity – it’s up to you

The Club decided to run Historic Regularity this season as a test of the interest in southern Tasmania.
Our race meeting are fairly full events and fitting four ‘sessions’ into a race day is a challenge.
The first meeting at Baskerville in March had 17 competitors – and we were very happy. The second
meeting in September had only 9 competitors. There will have to be about 20 entries at the last Round
of the season on November 28 for us to consider running Regularity next season.
We will have another full meeting with the two handicap races to ‘fit in’.
Regularity must be well attended for us to consider running Regularity next season.
If you want Regularity, then you must enter.
