Stability of 2-strip
The following climatic test has been carried out independently to compare Boen Parkett with main competitors
manufacturing a 3-strip parquet. Width of A, B and C is about 200 mm. The test was carried out in triplicate. 15 mm thick
pre-finished laminated hardwood flooring was used for each of the 3 different climatic test.


Results:
The wider the board the larger the board-width expansion, but interesting to note, this expansion did not take place proportionally,
because of the difference in construction of sublayers. The summary on results are shown in table

Conclusion:
Boen Parkett is in a class of its own. As can be seen from the above test results the other parquet producers have similar
standard, but this standard can not be compared with Boens. The width change leads to a lesser gap between the boards in a
dry climate and lesser strain on the adhesive joints in a damp climate. The wider parquet boards are obviously more vulnerable
to cupping / curving, when exposed to extra strain. Boen Parkett withstands the strain of dry and damper climate better.

                                              Results from an internal project with an Erichsen Scrub tester with Scotch
                                              Brite (07521) and a Gloss measurer from BYK (gloss at 60 degrees) are
                                              as follows:

                                              cycles and gloss of 22-25. New 15mm Oak has this same gloss and only small
                                              scratches after 500 cycles.
                                              A conclusion is that the gloss and surface look will stay better in areas where
                                              there is a path of traffic in domestic and especially domestic areas.

There are many different types of under-floor heat-
ing systems available, e.g. electric cable, hot water
pipes and low voltage foils, the majority of which

can be used together with Boen hardwood flooring.

For concrete screeded floors, Boens 15mm (for glue-down or floating) or 10mm Prestige (for glue-down only) should be used.
Pipes and cables must be covered with a min. of 30mm concrete. This process must be carried out by professionals.

Major requirements concerning concrete screed
The screed must be laid according to contractual specifications and Planning Authority requirements. When overlaying screed,
moisture must not exceed 1,5% CM or max. 90º RH when the hardwood flooring is laid. Ideally the screed will have been laid
at least 4 weeks prior to the heating system is being used. The first time the heating system is used it should be run at 2/3      3 - 03
output for at least 2 weeks so that escaping moisture can evaporate without causing damage and the screed can dry and
attain its final moisture content.

If the heated under-floor is a concrete screed, this should first be covered with a layer of suitable non thermal resistant

reinforced concrete / levelling screed.

The under-floor heating system must be regulated to

with insulating effect must be used on top of the floor as this accumulates heat.

5. A gentle tap with the help of a wooden block against the lower lip of
the parquet, while pressing the board down to the sub-floor is needed to

                                                  General Information.
                                                   BoenClic is installed without the use of adhesive or other means of attachment. Our quality controllers have sorted and
                                                  graded the parquet. Should there be any doubt concerning grading and/or visual defects, it is important that claims be
                                                  made prior to the parquet being installed. Remember that the finished result is the responsibility of the installer. Wood
                                                  is a natural product with natural differences in colour and grain.

                                                  Climatic Conditions
                                                  Boen parquet is dried to 7,5 % (± 1 %) moisture content, equal to the moisture content of furniture wood. It is therefore
                                                  a matter of course that the building is heated and dry. All windows and doors must be in place and all brick-work,
                                                  rendering and concreting completed well in advance of the parquet being installed. The room must be heated to a
                                                  minimum of 15o C with relative humidity below 60 %. Ensure that the room is kept temperate after the parquet is
                                                  installed and that relative humidity remains below 60 %. Always store the parquet cartons in dry conditions and do not
                                                  open them until just before use.

                                                  Sub-flooring of chipboard, plywood and floor-boards
                                                  The sub-floor must be dry, level and self-supporting. Approved sub-floors are 22mm chipboard, 19mm plywood or 21mm
                                                  floor-boards. When using the third alternative it is important that the parquet is installed at right angles. Diagonally
                                                  installed floor-boards and cleft floor boarding must be 28mm thick. The moisture content of the sub-floor must not
                                                  exceed 12%. Any irregular sounds or faults in the sub-floor must be corrected before the parquet is installed. One layer of
                                                  builders’ paper, or other suitable underlay should be laid between the sub-floor and parquet, to avoid friction sounds.

                                                  Sub-flooring of reinforced concrete or light-weight concrete
3 - 04                                            Concrete sub-floors must be level and devoid of cement lumps etc. The tolerance limit is ± 3mm per 2 running metres.
                                                  Regarding the humidity in the sub-floor there are two methods practised internationally and two different sets of
                                                  figures: Relative humidity (RF) in the concrete has to be below 90 %. The “CM humidity” of the concrete has to be below

                                                  2 %. It is always necessary to lay a 0,20 mm thick plastic foil on the concrete to insulate against any remaining damp.
                                                  In addition to this, a layer of builders’ paper or other suitable underlay (2 mm PE-foam, cork, etc) must be laid between
                                                  the plastic foil and parquet.

                                                  Existing Floor Coverings
                                                  Floor coverings of linoleum, vinyl, plastic etc. do not need to be removed but a layer of builders’ paper should be laid
                                                  between them and the parquet. Thin, firm carpet e.g. needle felt, is in itself, a good underlay for parquet but for reasons
                                                  of hygiene we recommend that these be removed. All other types of carpet must be removed.
                                                  NB! Check that the sub-floor is level.

                                                  Under-Floor Heating
                                                  There are various types of under-floor heating on the market, utilising both electricity and water. We are unable to cover
                                                  individual types, but a common factor for under-floor heating is that the heating effect must not exceed 60 W/m2 and
                                                  the surface temperature of the sub-floor must not exceed 27o C. The system must be thermostatically controlled and
                                                  installed in such a way that it produces an even output over the whole surface.
                                                  NB! It is important that rugs placed on the parquet do not have rubber or other dense materials on the under side, as
                                                  this isolates the heat under the rug and can damage the parquet.

                                                  Sound Proofing
                                                  Sound is measured in decibel (db). It is necessary to differentiate between the sound made by footsteps and
                                                  reverberation. Stepping sound is the sound perceived (measured) in the room directly under the parquet. Reverberation
                                                  is the sound in the actual room. Building Authority requirements to curb stepping sounds in a building, consisting
                                                  of several apartments, is subject to special implementations. The quality, plus construction of a building along with
                                                  its’ dimensions are all important factors contributing to the final result. Consultants and architects should therefore
                                                  be consulted.

                                                  Finishing Treatment
                                                  The surface of BoenClic is pre-finished either with lacquer or matt lacquer. The AS-lacquer (anti scratch) is UV
                                                  cured, extremely scratch resistant and very durable. We do not recommend the application of an additional coat
                                                  of lacquer immediately after the parquet is installed. If however, due to special circumstances, it is necessary to
                                                  re-lacquer immediately, please contact us for instructions. The oil is also UV cured. Oiled floors require more frequent
                                                  maintenance then lacquered floors. We recommend our special cleaning and maintenance products for the various
                                                  kinds of surfaces. The most efficient method of cleaning the floor is to use a dry mop or vacuum cleaner. If it is necessary
                                                  to wash the floor, it is important to limit the use of water. Do not allow water to dry on the surface of the parquet. For
                                                  the treatment of unfinished parquet, use appropriate products.

and groove. Place a bead of wood glue along the full length of the upper
edge of the groove, (towards the hardwood layer). By doing this, the glue

5. Use a tapping tool when driving the boards together. This tool should
be designed to prevent damage to the edges. When 3 rows have been
installed, make sure that all joins (including the short ends) are closed.
This also ensures that the floor is straight.

                                                      result.


                                                      Climatic Conditions

                                                      of installation that the building is heated and dry. All windows and doors must be installed, all masonry work, pouring of
                                                      concrete and plastering must be completed well in advance of the parquet being installed. The room must be heated and
                                                      the relative humidity must not exceed 60 %. Temperature control must be maintained after the floor is installed, and relative
                                                      humidity must be below 60 %.


                                                      Floor Joists
                                                      Experience has shown that the joists twist slightly as the wood dries. This twisting can cause the joins at the ends of the
                                                      parquet to open. To avoid this happening, glue the end joins together in the tongue and groove. The joists are made ridged by
                                                      means of battening placed between the upper edges of the joists at a distance of approx. 150 cm.

                                                      Joining joists in a room, directly over underlying walls, must be carried out very carefully, so that deflection of the joists in
                                                      the one area does not affect the parquet in another area. This is done by trimming off the upper edges of the joists from the
                                                      middle of the wall and out to the edge. An alternative is to nail the joists together forming a totally ridged join.

                                                      Nails
                                                      For 23 mm parquet, use 2,5 x 65mm galvanised nails or 3,9 x 57 mm screws.


                                                      Post Installation Treatment
                                                      Boen Parquet is pre-finished with lacquer or oil. The lacquer is an AS-lacquer (anti-scratch), UV hardened and extremely scratch
                                                      resistant and durable. Post installation treatment is not required. If however, due to special circumstances it is necessary to
                                                      apply an extra coat of lacquer immediately, please contact us for further information. Parquet treated with oil is also UV

                                                    Our quality controllers have graded and sorted the parquet. Should there be any doubt concerning grading and/or visible
                                                    defects, it is important that claims be made prior to the parquet being installed. Remember that the finished result is the
                                                    responsibility of the installer.

                                                    Climatic conditions.
                                                    Boen hardwood flooring is dried to 7 ± 1% moisture content, equal to the moisture content of furniture wood. It is therefore
                                                    a matter of course that the building is heated and dry. All windows and doors must be in place and all brick-work, rendering
                                                    and concreting completed well in advance of the parquet being installed. The room must be heated to a minimum of 10oC
                                                    with relative humidity below 60%. Ensure that the room is kept temperate after the parquet is installed and that relative
                                                    humidity remains below 60%.

                                                    Sub-flooring of chipboard, plywood and floor-boards.
                                                    The sub-floor must be dry, level and self-supporting. Approved sub-floors are 22mm chipboard, 19mm plywood or 21mm
                                                    floor-boards. When using the third alternative it is important that the parquet is installed at right angles. Diagonally installed
                                                    floor-boards and cleft floor boarding for use with under-floor heating systems must be 28mm thick. The moisture content of
                                                    the sub-floor must not exceed 12%. Any irregular sounds or faults in the sub-floor must be corrected before the parquet is
                                                    installed. One layer of builders’ paper or other suitable underlay should be laid between the sub-floor and parquet, to avoid
                                                    friction sounds.

                                                    Sub-flooring of reinforced concrete or light-weight concrete.
                                                    Concrete sub-floors must be level and devoid of cement lumps etc. The tolerance limit is ± 3mm per 2 running metres. The
                                                    relative humidity of the concrete must be below 90%. It is always necessary to lay a 0,20mm thick plastic foil on the concrete
                                                    to insulate against any remaining damp. In addition to this, a layer of builders’ paper or other suitable underlay should be laid

                                                    Existing Floor Covering.
                                                    Floor coverings of linoleum, vinyl, plastic etc. do not need to be removed but a layer of builders’ paper should be laid between

                                                    them and the parquet. Thin, firm carpet e.g. needle felt is, in itself, a good underlay for parquet but for reasons of hygiene we
                                                    recommend that these be removed. All other types of carpet must be removed.
                                                    NB! Check that the sub-floor is level.

                                                    Under-Floor Heating.
                                                    There are various types of under-floor heating on the market, utilising both electricity and water. We are unable to cover indi-
                                                    vidual types, but a common factor for under-floor heating is that the heating effect must not exceed 60W/m2 and the surface
                                                    temperature of the floor must not exceed 27oC. The system must be thermostatically controlled and installed in such a way
                                                    that it produces an even output over the whole surface.
                                                    NB! It is important that rugs placed on the parquet do not have rubber or other dense materials on the under side, as this
                                                    isolates the heat under the rug and can damage the parquet.

                                                    Sound Proofing.
                                                    Sound is measured in decibel (db). It is necessary to differentiate between the sound made by footsteps and reverberation.
                                                    Stepping sound is the sound perceived (measured) in the room directly under the parquet. Reverberation is the sound in
                                                    the actual room. Building Authority requirements to curb stepping sounds in a building, consisting of several apartments, is
                                                    subject to special implementations. The quality, plus construction of a building along with its’ dimensions are all important
                                                    factors contributing to the final result. Consultants and architects should therefore be consulted.

                                                    Finishing Treatment.
                                                    The surface of Boen Parquet is pre-finished with lacquer or oil and does not require any immediate additional finishing treat-
                                                    ment. The AS-lacquer (anti scratch) is UV cured, extremely scratch resistant and very durable. The oil is also UV cured. Oiled
                                                    floors require more frequent maintence than lacquered floors. We recommend Boen maintenance products. The most effi-
                                                    cient method of cleaning the floor is to use a dry mop or vacuum cleaner. If it is necessary to wash the floor, it is important to
                                                    limit the use of water. Do not allow water to dry on the surface of the parquet.

                                                              Installation guidelines.
                                                              Installation should be carried out in accordance with DIN standards ie: DIN 18365 "Working With Floor-coverings" and DIN
                                                              18356 "Working With Hardwood Flooring ". Tests have been carried out in conjunction with the adhesive manufacturers and
                                                              their recommendations must be followed when using proprietary, one-part waterbased or one/two-part polyurethane based
                                                              adhesives.

                                                              Sub-floor requirements.
                                                              Prestige can be adhered to any professionally installed and levelled sub-floor. This includes screed, concrete, chipboard and
                                                              plywood. The sub-floor must meet the usual requirements for the installation of any hardwood floor ie: it must be dry, level,
                                                              self supporting, clean and free from grease and dirt. After any necessary improvements have been made to the sub-floor the
                                                              hardwood flooring is ready for installation in accordance with appropriate standards and technical specification. Special care
                                                              must be given to the eveness of the sub-floor so as to avoid air pockets. For open pores in concrete sub-floors and other old
                                                              sub-floors, use BONABOND D500 or Thomsit R777. In the event of the sub-floor being uneven it should be levelled with an
                                                              appropriate levelling compound such as BONABOND H600, H620, H630 or Thomsit SL85 in accordance with the manufactur-
                                                              ers’ instructions for the use of such compounds.

                                                              Underfloor heating.
                                                              10mm prefinished hardwood flooring has a thermal conductivity of 0.07 W/m2 and is well suited for glueing to a sub-floor
                                                              containing underfloor heating. The heating effect must not exceed 60W/m2. The surface temperature of the hardwood floor-
                                                              ing should not exceed 27 0C/800F. The heating system must distribute heat evenly throughout the entire floor irrespective of
                                                              the heat setting. Carpets with backings made of insulating material must not be used on top of the hardwood floor. Concrete
                                                              sub-floors must be properly cured and dried. All the normal rules for the installation of hardwood flooring must be observed. If
                                                              in doubt please contact the manufacturer or their local representative for further information. Fluctuating air humidity can, in
3 - 08                                                        certain circumstances, cause splitting of the wood, especially where Beech and Maple are used due to the technical properties
                                                              of the species in question. Therefore it is important to ensure that an indoor temperature of between approximately 20-220C/
                                                              68-720F and a relative humidity of 55-66% are maintained.

                                                              Use of adhesive.
                                                              The product must always be glued directly to the subfloor. The tongue and grooves of each board must NOT be glued. The
                                                              choice of adhesive is dependant on the type of subfloor and the conditions associated with the building’s construction. Only
                                                              adhesive that is specifically recommended for hardwood flooring should be used ie: adhesive containing a minimum of water
                                                              such as BONABOND 720, Thomsit P 618, BONABOND 770, or Thomsit P 625. Adhesive should be applied in accordance with the
                                                              manufacturers’ instructions. The area where adhesive is applied should be limited to the amount that can be worked in the
                                                              course of 10-15 minuttes.

                                                              Important installation instructions.
                                                              The strips, which are packed in polythene wrapping must be handled with care to avoid damage. During storage it is advis-
                                                              able to ensure a room temperature of approximately 180C/ 640F as large fluctuations in temperature can cause condensation
                                                              inside the packaging. Hardwood flooring is a natural, hygroscopic product and where the degree of humidity in the room is
                                                              high. This can lead to moisture being absorbed causing the hardwood to expand. For 72 hours before and after installation of
                                                              hardwood flooring the humidity level in the room must not exceed 65% and that the room temperature does not fall below 18
                                                              0C/640F. The surface temperature of the floor should be a minimum of 15 0C/ 580F. The strips, which are sealed in polythene
                                                              wrapping, should be stored in the room in which they are to be laid for at least 48 hours prior to opening. As a general rule, and
                                                              particularly in the case of a new building, the installation of the hardwood flooring should be one of the final processes. When
                                                              this is not possible, it is essential that the hardwood flooring is protected with a covering such as building paper, hardboard
                                                              or cardboard, until all work is completed.

                                                              Setting out - practical tips, expansion gaps at the walls.
                                                              The setting out of the floor must be carefully considered before beginning the
                                                              installation and this will depend on the type of pattern chosen. When choosing
                                                              the long-strip or brick-bond pattern it is an advantage to lay the strips lengthways
                                                              to take into account the angle of incidence of the main source of light. When
                                                              other patterns are chosen, installation should begin at the centre of the room; the
                                                              centre of the room should be determined by laying out guide strings from the four
                                                              corners of the room across the two diagonals of the room. It is essential that an
                                                              expansion gap of 8-10mm/ 1/3”-1/2” is left between the edge of the floor and all
                                                              walls and pillars etc. These gaps can be covered later with skirtings or mouldings
                                                              and/or filled with a flexible silicon-based seam sealer. To avoid what is known as
                                                              "curving" in larger rooms it is advisable to use a template during installation (see
                                                              diagram). To obtain a good final result it is very important to be precise in the
                                                              installation of the first row of strips. The strips are always laid into the adhesive
                                                              in front of the previous row and are pushed and rotated into place along the side
                                                              and butt of each strip.

Installing long-strip and/or brick-bond pattern.
Using a straight-edged timber off-cut such as softwood batten or length of ply-
wood, mark off a guideline for installation, which should be a distance equivalent
to the width of 4-6 strips plus an expansion allowance of 8-10mm/1/3”-1/2”. Begin
laying along the wall with the tongue facing towards the wall whilst inserting
wedges to ensure an expansion gap of 8-10mm/ 1/3”-1/2” between the wall and
the first row of hardwood strips. Once the area between the wall and guideline
has been completed the expansion wedges should be removed. Further installa-
tion should continue only after the adhesive under this area of the floor has set
sufficiently, (refer to the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions/ recommendation).
When laying a patterned floor it is important that rows of either left or right had
strips are completed before commencing the next row. (This applies only to long-
strip patterns).

Installing brick-bond pattern diagonally.
For this type of pattern, installation must begin in the centre of the room, firstly
locate the diagonal centre of the room and screw, nail or glue a guide board along
the diagonal line. Commence installation along this board with the tongue facing
the board. Once the first half of the floor is complete remove the guide board. Once
the adhesive has set sufficiently, (refer to the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions),
commence laying of the remaining half of the room. To ensure a uniform floor
appearance when laying either lengthwise or diagonally it is advisable that the floor
is installed in a step fashion after laying the first 4-6 rows.

Installing herring-bone pattern.
Firstly fix some strips together, according to the chosen pattern – single, double or
triple herringbone, along the room’s centre line at the point close to the nearest
wall. After doing this stretch a guide string from the centre point of the room to                                              3 - 08
the apex of the pre-laid floor. This area of pre-laid floor will now act as a template
for the remainder of the installation. Once this area of the floor has adhered suf-
ficiently to the sub-floor, (refer to adhesive manufacturer’s recommendations),

continue with the installation. NB: It is advisable to check the guide string occa-
sionally during installation.

Installing in square or chess-board pattern.
When installing in square/ chessboard pattern, 7 pieces of the 476mm strip will
form an exact square. To construct the next square, the strips must be rotated 90
degrees. Installation begins by setting out a guide string 476mm + 8-10mm/ 1/3”-
1/2” from the wall. Begin laying whole squares against the wall where the visual
effect is most critical. After marking a line along the floor, place guide boards as
shown, at a 900 angle. The laying starts from this corner and approx. 1,5 m2/ 5
sqft. should be laid at a time. This area of pre-laid floor will now act as a template
for the remainder of the installation. Once this area of the floor has adhered suf-
ficiently to the sub-floor, (refer to adhesive manufacturer’s recommendations),
continue with the installation.
NB: It is advisable to check the guide string occasionally during installation.

Squares incorporating decorative squares.
Installation is the same as for squares, but using the decorative squares
(68 x 68 mm) at the corners along with 476 mm strip, forming a frame around the
7-strip square.




Maintenance, cleaning and caring for your floor.
The 10mm 1-strip hardwood floor is factory finished using an environmentally friendly formaldehyde and toxin free acrylic
finish and therefore has a well protected surface. The surface is hygienic and is easy to clean by using a vacuum cleaner
and wiping with a damp cloth. The finish seals and protects the hardwood against dust and dirt. However the floor will be
exposed to wear depending on the amount of traffic to which it is subjected. Therefore it is necessary to maintain the floor
both before and during use in accordance with DIN standard 18356. Maintenance is carried out using a suitable hardwood
flooring cleaner or polish. With wood species such as: Beech or Maple or in the case of commercial installations a wax polish
is recommended eg. BonaKemi DD505, or BonaKemi Parkett Polish. Please ask your dealer for further advice on cleaning and
maintenance of your Prestige hardwood floor.

the short end. When the planks are aligned, pull the extra plastic foil
out so that the planks adhere to the self-adhesive surface of the actual

which is pulled out little by little as new rows of plank are installed. If
necessary, the underlay can be straightened and stretched before the

                                                       Boen solid wood-flooring is dried to 7, 5 % (± 1 %) moisture content, equal to the moisture content of furniture wood. It is

                                                       rendering and concreting completed well in advance of the parquet being installed. The room must be heated to a minimum

                                                       relative humidity remains below 60 %.
                                                       Always store the parquet cartons in dry conditions and do not open them until just before use.

                                                       ELASTILON® is used when installing solid wood flooring on concrete sub-floors, when a floating floor is required. Solid wood
                                                       flooring can not be installed as a floating floor by gluing in the tongue and groove, but must be attached to the sub-floor. The
                                                       planks are then attached to the underlay and retain their properties as a floating floor.

                                               -Boen Refresher
                                               Application:
                                               The floor must be free from polish,
                                               wax and other contamination prior
                                               to treatment. Apply a thin coat of
                                               Boen Refresher using a clean, soft
                                               and lint-free cloth or sponge. Boen
                                               Refresher must not be thinned with
                                               water. Let the floor dry for 30 min-
                                               utes before replacing furniture and
                                               carpets. The use of felt cushions on
                                               furniture is recommended to avoid
                                               unnecessary wear.

                                               Maintenance:
                                               Flooring treated with Boen Refresher
                                               should be kept clean by vacuum
                                               cleaning, dry mopping or mopping
                                               with a mop or cloth, well wrung
                                               in lukewarm water. Boen Cleaner
                                               or other neutral detergent may be
                                               added to the water used for clean-
                                               ing. Note that alkaline detergents
                                               may remove the Boen Refresher.

                                               Product description:
                                               Boen Cleaner is a cleaning agent
                                               developed for use on parquet, wood
                                               and other lacquered surfaces.

                                               Application:
                                               Wood and other lacquered flooring
                                               can be affected by water, so a well-
                                               wrung cloth/mop is recommended
                                               when cleaning. Measure: Normal
                                               daily cleaning: 25ml to 5 litres water.
                                               Badly marked floor: 50 ml to 5 litres
                                               water.

                                               Technical Specifications:
                                               pH Values: Concentrated, approx. 10
                                               working solution in water (0,5%),
                                               approx. 8. Content: Anionic and
                                               non-ionic tensides, chelating agents
                                               (complex builders), and glycoethers.

                                                  Oiled floors
                                                  -Boen Floor Soap
                                                  Range of Use:
                                                  Boen Floor Soap is used to clean oil
                                                  treated parquet and wood floors,
                                                  plus other oiled woodwork.

                                                  Cleaning:
                                                  For daily cleaning of oil treated
                                                  floors, a dry cleaning method is
                                                  recommended using a dry mop or
                                                  vacuum cleaner. If it should be nec-
                                                  essary to wash the floor, add max. 1
                                                  capful of Boen Floor Soap per. litre
                                                  water, for cleaning factory finished
                                                  ready oiled parquet (UV oil). Use a
                                                  well wrung cloth and avoid water
                                                  spillage on the floor.
                                                  Boen Floor Soap is suitable for
                                                  cleaning/maintenance of all other
                                                  types of oiled – caustic treated or
                                                  soap scrubbed floors, using a con-
                                                  centration of 1 litre of soap to 10-20
                                                  litres of warm water.

                                                                                                                          MAINTENANCE
Boen Floor Soap is made of light, pure veg-
etable oils and natural waxes. The soap is
effective for cleaning oiled floors. It is also
available in WHITE, with added white pig-
ments which are suitable for white oiled
floors. Boen Floor Soap is a pure and envi-
ronmentally correct product and does not
contain solvents.

                                               -Boen Freshen up
                                               Range of Use:
                                               Boen Oil Freshen Up is used espe-
                                               cially for factory finished ready oiled
                                               parquet (UV oil).

                                               Instructions for Use:
                                               Shake the tin and apply a thin
                                               coat of Boen Oil Freshen Up with
                                               a sponge or cloth. After 30-60 min-
                                               utes drying time the floor is ready
                                               for use.

                                               Cleaning:
                                               The floor should be cleaned pref-
                                               erably with the use of a dry mop
                                               or vacuum cleaner. When neces-
                                               sary the floor can be washed with
                                               Boen Floor Soap. Use a well wrung
                                               cloth and avoid water spillage on
                                               the floor.

                                               Maintenance:
                                               A refresher coat can be applied
                                               when required, depending on wear
                                               and tear. It is difficult to state how
