In many traditional teachings the human physical form is referred to as a
“creation of the Divine” and is symbolized as a “temple”. The building of a
temple in the form of a stylized human body is a common theme. Most
churches are laid out in the shape of a cross, reflecting a human body lying
supine with the arms stretched out. All temples have three divisions: an
outer court, an inner court and a Holy of Holies, which also reflects the
physical form and its journey into awakening.

In ancient times mystery schools or “temples” were formed to transmit this
esoteric wisdom in the language of symbols to prevent those who were
unprepared, from gaining the knowledge. Mystery schools agree that
humans have a threefold nature, an interconnection of Spirit, Soul and
Body with Spirit being seen as the true essence of a human being.

The journey through the temple or the Mystery School had four parts: the
first step being “Know thyself”. An initiate in the school was required to
cleanse and purify their “inner landscape” in order to truly know the
world “behind” their eyes. Remembering and gaining insight into their
individual life’s purpose then allowed entrance into the remaining three
steps of the temple.

Join us for this time of exploration and experiential exchange as we step
into the Great Mystery of ourselves. We will explore the Human Energy
Field and its relationship to health and life on many levels. We will
journey through the four steps of the Mystery School using ancient ways to
refine ourselves and connect with our Divinity. The Soul, its wonder and
its complexity will be a significant part of this transformation. Shamanic
processes will also be included.
