RCI continued to maintain MOT devices in support of the pavement operation. B) SUB CONTRACTORS Protection Services: Furnished/installed MOT devices in support of the milling and resurfacing operation from, south 2 miles of Indiantown Road to Martin County Line along Northbound I-95, lane (R3). Mill-It Corporation: Milled existing asphalt along Northbound I-95 mainline and shoulder from, south 2 miles of Indiantown Road to Martin County Line along Northbound I-95, lane (R3). Gene's Striping: Placed temporary striping in support of the paving operation from, south 2 miles of Indiantown Road to Martin County Line along Northbound I-95, lane (R3). Design Traffic Installation: Installed End Anchorage Assemblies guardrail along I-95 at Donald Ross Road. CONTRACTOR CONTRACT NUMBER 403614-1-52-01 0951 573 I Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. 21564 C) ANTICIPATED ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT WEEK: Continue milling and placement of asphalt structure, level "D" for mailine and shoulder, between Martin County Line and PGA Boulevard, along Southbound I-95, lane (L3). RCI will continue to maintain MOT devices and temporary striping in support of the pavement operation. DTI will continue installation of guardrail throughout the project, at various locations along Southbound and Northbound I-95. D) ENGINEER'S COMMENTS: Two rain days were granted this week due to adverse weather condition, on (03/17/03), and on (03/23/03). Uneven pavement construction signs, to be mounted at both sides of highway, along Northbound I-95 as follows: Between PGA Blvd. and Donald Ross Road at station 55 +/- 00 and station 70 +/- 00; between Donald Ross Road and Indiantown road, at station 220 +/- 00 and station 300 +/- 00; also, between Indiantown Road and Martin County Line, station 400 +/- 00 and station 475 +/- 00. (When RCI starts Southbound paving operation, contractor will be required to place the uneven pavement signs accordingly, in similar locations to Northbound stationing). RCI to place warning construction signs at both sides of highway Northbound I-95: "Road Work next 8 miles" at station 70 +/- 00; "Road Work next 5 miles" at station 220 +/- 00, and another "Road Work next 1 mile" at station 432 +/- 00. Southbound I-95: "Road Work next 11 miles" at station 432 +/- 00; "Road Work next 7 miles" at station 220 +/- 00, and another "Road Work next 4 miles" at station 70 +/- 00. (Project # 7's miles are included along Southbound I-95). In order to protect the workers, RCI needs to utilize the Truck Mounted Attenuator, (TMA) and shall be placed in the lane closure which the workers are occupying, and shall move accordingly, (see Traffic Control General notes, Sheet No. 74, Note # 10). Speed Limit regulatory signs, to be changed to reflect 55 Mile/Hr in lieu of the five (5) existing 70 Mile/ Hr signs along Northbound I-95, (three signs), and along Southbound I-95, (two signs); also, the VMS and the work zone's regulatory speed limit signs in support of the lane closure, also need to reflect, 55 Mile/Hr. RCI to provide lighting during night operations as per, Traffic Control General notes, Sheet No. 74, Note # 17. RCI and TCG agreed to place one lighting plant approximately 1500 Ft. from beginning of lane closure, and another at half way distance within the same lane closure.
