SPECTRUM FAIR HOUSING/SECTION 504 TRAINING -
Since 2005 there’s a new focus by Rural Development, HUD and State Tax Credit Agencies on
Compliance with Fair Housing and Section 504 requirements. Did you know?....


1. The HUD 4350.3 Revision 1 dedicates an entire chapter to Civil Rights laws and clearly states for the
first time that Federal Laws supercede regulations.
2. The Rural Development 3560 and Asset Management Handbook reprint the same requirements from
Federal Laws.
3. HUD / Fair Housing and the Department of Justice issued a major policy statement last year on
Reasonable Accommodation.

If you have not attended the SPECTRUM one-day comprehensive Fair Housing Training, we recommend
you do so. If you have attended, it is strongly suggested that you come again for updates, new court cases,
and the comfort level that you understand these laws.

  Housing Tax Credit & HOME COMPLIANCE
    (C3P) Training on June 12 - 13, 2008
SPECTRUM C3P (Certified Credit Compliance Professional) CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
FOR THE LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT - A two day certification course focusing on all
aspects of Marketing and management of projects involved with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. The
seminar includes case studies for HUD, Rural Development or conventional properties with a detailed
discussion of IRS regulations, income limits and recapture issues. The seminar includes eligibility, rent
calculations and restrictions, continuing compliance, and a discussion of IRS final regulations on
compliance monitoring. An exam administered at the end of training on the second day will give attendees
an opportunity to earn their Nationally recognized C3P designation.

When: 8:30 a.m. with registration and end at 5:00 p.m.
WCDA will pay the registration fee for one representative of each HOME or Tax
Credit project in Wyoming or one representative of any Architectural firm
designing or over-seeing construction of any project in Wyoming. All others are
welcome, fees are as follows:
