                           Leadership of programme team: To lead and coordinate the work of the programme team. Specific tasks

              Project and programme management: To lead manage selected large scale projects (LSPs) and to
              coordinate the development and implementation of local cultural relations (LCR) projects. Specific tasks
              include:

                 Development of a complementary programme of LCR projects, and directing the implementation of the
                  LCR programme



                 Projects managed to accepted standards of good practice in respect of project cycle management:

              Programme coordination: To ensure that risk and impact evaluation procedures are implemented routinely

                     Strategic management: Serve as member of country senior management team (SMT), country programme
                     team and other teams as appropriate (eg EOD, EFT, etc). Provide support as necessary/requested to Director,
                     including carrying out tasks from time to time which might be considered appropriate to either more senior or
                     more junior grades. Deputising for senior staff (including CD) as required.
