an on call doctor for high society.

life, complete with a beautiful fiance and

ing nightmare when he chooses to save
a neighborhood teen instead of a wealthy
hospital patron because the teen’s situ-
ation was more urgent. After the patron
dies, the hospital board fires Hank and
threatens a lawsuit. As his professional
prospects evaporate and bills start piling up, the former rising star becomes a recluse. Hank’s
fiance, Nikki, soon gets fed up and leaves him for good. Finally, Hank’s younger brother, Evan,
convinces Hank to spend Memorial Day Weekend in the Hamptons in the hopes of getting him
out of his slump.
On his first night there, Evan drags Hank to an exclusive party, which they clearly haven’t
been invited to, on the massive private estate of a mysterious mogul named Boris. Thanks to
Evan’s ability to make even the most outrageous story sound plausible, they manage to get in. At
the height of the festivities, Hank winds up saving the life of a sick girl who has been mistakenly
diagnosed with a drug overdose by the presiding concierge doctor.

Word spreads throughout the East End that there’s a new on-call doctor in town and Hank
suddenly finds himself responding to calls from the area’s wealthiest residents: a teenager suf-

breast implant, and a girl who suffers from an internet-induced version of hypochondria. Also in
pursuit is a savvy physician assistant, Divya, who insists that she help Hank set up shop in the
Hamptons. Along the way, he meets the local hospital administrator, Jill Casey, whose interest
in his story may be more than professional.
Realizing that he has no job prospects in New York City yet suddenly a growing clientele in the
Hamptons who are willing to pay big bucks for his services, Hank decides to give this concierge
doctor thing a try with Evan as his business manager and Divya as an assistant. Little do they

women than establishing any viable con-
tacts. When Hank gets a call to come to
the aid of a senator’s son, that’s all the
more reason not to be a part of Evan’s
scheme. His medical service is marketing
itself – or is it?
The senator’s son, Kendrick Everett, is on track to be Notre Dame’s starting quarterback in
the fall. Hank performs a routine physical examination and the young athlete passes with flying
colors. However, Kendrick falls ill the next day. By the time Hank arrives, Kendrick complains of
blurred vision and tingling in his legs before fainting into Hank’s arms.
Hank and Divya spring into action to determine what’s wrong but without an MRI, they won’t
be able to make a conclusive evaluation. Since Kendrick’s mother Lucy will not allow her son to
be taken to hospital, Hank and Divya must figure out how to find a mobile MRI unit before it’s
too late. Hank is hoping that Jill Flint, the hospital administrator he recently met, will do him a
favor just this once.
Meanwhile, Evan is putting his own plan into action by paying Mrs. ”Newparts” Newberg a
visit. He’s pleasantly surprised to find that not only is Mrs. Newberg amenable to his proposal,
but also that she has a beautiful twenty-two-year-old granddaughter. Maybe he can prove to
Hank that his guerrilla marketing plan isn’t so outrageous after all.

Summary: The son of a senator turns ill and his mother doesn’t want him sent

Hank and Evan jogging along the

that more aggressive marketing is needed
for ”Hank Med.” Hank is content with
                                                        the word-of-mouth approach. To prove

Benny. Evan’s plan fails, and one of the
dogs bites Benny in the hand. Hank pro-
vides first aid and advises Benny to seek medical attention.
While Hank and Evan are returning from their jog, two deer cross their path and disappear
into the woods. Hank then receives a phone call from a wealthy U.S. Senator’s wife, Lucy Everett.
She wants Hank to do a complete physical exam on her son, Kendrick, who is headed to Notre
Dame to play football. Lucy tells Hank the physical must be kept confidential and away from any
hospital. She has outfitted a room in her home with the necessary medical equipment. Hank and
Divya perform the exam and Kendrick is given a clean bill of health.
Hank receives a call from Benny. He never went to the hospital and his hand has become
infected. The treatment involves drainage of the wound by a skilled hand surgeon so as not to
damage any nerves, arteries, or tendons. Hank takes Benny to the emergency room and with
Hank’s help, Benny is immediately admitted.
Back at the Everett home, Kendrick is practicing football when he experiences blurred vision.
Hank and Divya arrive to find Kendrick with additional symptoms that indicate indicate a major
neurological problem. Hank believes that Kendrick should be taken to a hospital but his mother
opposes this idea. She tells Hank to diagnosis the problem without involving any sort of publicity.
Hank needs a portable MRI machine which Divya quickly locates.
The mobile MRI belongs to the hospital where Jill is the administrator. Hank must request
use of the machine but can’t give Jill any information about where it is going and what it will be

used for. She loans Hank the MRI machine but is not happy with Hank for imposing on her clout
at the hospital.
The portable MRI is taken to the Everett residence where it is used to aid Hank in a diagnosis
of Kendrick’s illness. The results of the MRI are negative and so is a spinal tap. His condition
worsens when he goes into respiratory arrest.
Meanwhile, Evan pushes ahead with his marketing strategy. He approaches Ms. Newberg,
Hank’s former ”flat tire” patient, with a proposal for 24/7 medical access. She says she will
consider it and then introduces Evan to her granddaughter Emma. Evan invites her to a reception
at Boris’ mansion. Two other young ladies are at the party and they all end up in a hot tub.
However, the hot tub was not properly disinfected and all the participants end up with a severe
rash.
At the Everett household, Hank and Divya are perplexed as to what could be causing Kendrick’s
illness and rapid deterioration. As it happens, Hank remembers a conversation he had with
Melody, Kendrick’s sister. While she and Kendrick were playing football, she tackled him and he
hit his head on the grass. Recalling the two deer he saw after his jog, Hank believes he knows
what is causing the teenager’s failure to respond. An exam of Kendrick’s ear canal reveals the
source, a deer tick. It had attached itself inside the ear and injected a neurotoxin, present in the
tick’s saliva. The substance accounted for Kendrick’s neurological deficit and once the tick was
removed, he quickly recovered.
On leaving the Everett place, Hank and Divya notice that Evan has been trying to reach them
concerning his and the young ladies’ rash. After viewing the rash via cell phone, Hank makes
the diagnosis of hot tub folliculitis and Divya tells Evan to apply a towel soaked with vinegar, a
common remedy. Evan is distressed about how he will appear to his guests. However, this doesn’t
stop him from pushing his strategic marketing plan. Evan tells Hank that he already contracted
with a client, Ms. Newberg. Hank’s skepticism appears to be overcome when he sees the retainer
fee Ms. Newberg is willing to pay.
Hank visits Benny who’s recovery is going well. Jill invites Hank for dinner in the hospital
dining room. Before they can finish, Jill is called away.
In the closing scene, Hank runs into Boris who inquires about the Everett’s. Hank sticks to
his confidentiality pledge but thanks Boris for the referral. Boris tells Hank he has big plans for
him.

She pulls Hank aside to confess that she
                                                        recently experienced a strange ’episode’
during which her vision was temporarily blurred and she was disoriented. He speculates on
what it could be but without tests, there’s no way to know for sure. Before he leaves, Hank man-
ages to extract a less-than-convincing promise that she will slow down at least long enough to
have a complete physical and neurological exam as soon as possible. And when another episode
occurs – this time a lot worse – he and his HankMed team are left with a three-hour window to
get Allison the treatment she needs before the damage to her system is permanent.
Meanwhile, Evan and Divya have been at each other’s throats while working in the field, but
Hank isn’t about to get in the middle of that one. Nor can he control Evan’s flagrant abuse of
Boris’s hospitality, including Evan putting his nose where it doesn’t belong when a truck shows
up at Shadow Pond with a mysterious delivery. Hank is having a hard enough time dealing with
his impending ’ex-wedding day,’ calls from his ex and trying to get a date with Jill.

planning to give birth on her beloved family island – and she wants Hank to induce her labor.
Despite the Grant family’s desire for an intimate family gathering, Evan manages to get himself
invited by billing himself as a ’manny’ to care for Claire’s nieces and nephew. Evan’s hopes for
a glamorous getaway are dashed when he sees how old-school and low-tech the house is. And
since there’s no cell service and the satellite phone is on the blink, Hank can’t call to cancel his
make-up date with Jill or to give her an answer about another proposition she made to him the
night before: a job in the ER at Hamptons Heritage Hospital.
Meanwhile, Divya is holding down the fort on the mainland, but since she can’t reach Hank,
she finds herself flying solo in the dark. When she responds to a stray text message from Hank
to follow up on a patient, she doesn’t realize she’s actually showing up for Hank’s aborted date
with Jill. The awkward situation becomes tense when Divya learns that Jill has offered Hank a
job, which could mean the end of HankMed before it has even begun.

ters a treatment that should have Esper-
anza back on her feet soon – if she rests. But they all know that resting is not in Esperanza’s
vocabulary or her boss’s for that matter.
To thank him for his speedy and efficient efforts, Ms. Newberg invites Hank to attend the
”Bark Mitzvah” she’s hosting for her dog Koufax. But the joyful if a little ludicrous occasion takes
a frightening turn when the hostess, the dog-of-honor and some of the guests start exhibiting
the same symptoms as Esperanza, whose condition has worsened. Do Hank and Jill suddenly
have some kind of viral outbreak on their hands? The only way to find out is to lockdown the
estate and quarantine the sick until they can figure out what’s going on. Of course, Hank doesn’t
anticipate how much flak he’ll get from holding Hamptonites against their will.
As Divya and Evan are tending to another patient out of the quarantine zone, Evan learns
that Divya is engaged. She swears him to both secrecy and silence upon pain of death but Evan
can’t help prod her into telling him the deal. Divya grudgingly admits that she is about to marry
a wonderful man. The only problem is she doesn’t love him. Apparently arranged marriages are
not a thing of the past in Divya’s world.

Jill is thrilled when her best friend

is business not pleasure. Boris, whom

                                                          Katie’s medical research. That night,
Boris calls Hank into the house to attend
to an incident. Hank is shocked to dis-

claims it happened when Katie was swimming in the ocean but Hank’s not buying it. Despite
Hank’s agreement to respect Boris’s privacy, Hank begins poking around looking for the truth.
Evan fesses up that he knows that Boris is keeping a shark in his house. But that doesn’t answer
the question why Katie was in that shark tank – or does it?
Instead of celebrating Boris’s birthday with a big party, he asks Hank to give him his annual
physical. Unsurprisingly, Boris seems like he’s in excellent shape. As a standard part of the
exam, Hank takes Boris’s blood and sends it to Hamptons Heritage Hospital for testing. After a
strange conversation with Boris about Hank’s initial seemingly benign findings, Hank requests
a full analysis on the bloodwork. Before Hank can confirm his hunch, the bloodwork disappears
from the hospital and Boris has taken off without a word or a way to reach him. Hank is now
convinced that Boris is sick and that it’s somehow all tied to the research that Katie is doing...and
the shark in the basement.

is treating a software guru who just married a swimsuit supermodel.
Hank and Jill deal with the fact that Hank seems to be going down the
                      same road as her ex-boyfriend.

                                                       their honeymoon because Alan’s allergies

what Alan wants his new wife to think.
When he gets Divya alone, he confides that he has been having pain ”down there,” which he
thinks must be a kidney stone. What finally shows up on the X-ray stuns Divya so badly that
she literally walks out on the patient without an explanation. How could she possibly tell her
client that there’s a tiny fish stuck in his penis?
When Jill asks Hank to help her convince a heart patient to stay put in the hospital, Hank
unintentionally winds up with a new client – and a miffed Jill – on his hands. On top of that,
Chuck Sutherland, a famous children’s book illustrator who collaborates with his writer wife
Patty, is not an easygoing guy. He refuses to take his heart meds because he claims that they
diminish his creativity and he’s on deadline to finish their latest book. And Evan isn’t happy
because the couple can’t pay HankMed’s fees until Chuck and Patty receive the rest of their book
advance. The only way to help Chuck is through Patty. He just hopes she isn’t as stubborn as
her husband.

She’s hoping that through some fancy footwork – involving Evan and some tall tales – her parents
won’t catch on that she has been lying to them about her secret life as a Physician’s Assistant.
But when her father is stung by a wasp and has a serious allergic reaction, hiding her training
is no longer an option.
Meanwhile, Hank plays hardball with Dan, the stable manager, and Beth, his 15-year-old
daughter who won’t drop out of the competition after Beth has fallen off her horse. Jill tells Hank
that Dan was caught up in a performance-enhancing drug scandal a couple of summers ago.
This piece of news raises Hank’s suspicions that what’s really going on with Beth is more than a
case of performance anxiety.
Much to Jill’s displeasure, her ex, Charlie Casey, reappears in the Hamptons with the intent
of sticking around. Unwittingly, Hank helps Charlie with some minor wounds after Charlie had
been run off the road on his motorcycle. But what really bums out Hank is finding out that Jill
and Charlie aren’t technically divorced, which makes a messy situation between them that much
messier.

Summary: Hank has to deal with Marshall Bryants’s abuse of alcohol and pre-
scription drugs after visiting his son Tucker for his seventeenth birth-

to do things his usual quick way almost ends up dead.

on him. The party has been cancelled

problem is that Marshall seems to have
started celebrating way before he even
arrived at the house. Tucker confides to

Hank to get his dad into rehab. Fulfilling that birthday wish is easier said than done, since
Marshall Bryant already thinks Hank interferes too much in his family’s business. But when
Tucker is hurt rushing down the stairs, Hank has no choice but to stick his nose in once again.
Things over at the hospital are now fraught since Charlie Casey, Jill’s not-so-ex-husband, is
back on staff. Jill is torn between wanting to work with Charlie to realize their dream of building
the clinic – and using Boris’s blank check to do it – and wanting Charlie out of her life. Jill
admits to Hank that she’s the one who made Boris’s blood work disappear from the lab at Boris’s
request. And now the money, which Boris meant as a thank you, feels tainted. In a last ditch
effort to work things out with Jill, Hank asks her to drive with him to New York in the hopes of
tracking down Boris. Jill declines, claiming that she and Charlie have to work late. So Hank sets
off for the Big Apple alone.

are pressuring the state licensing board
to revoke Hank’s credentials. Hank wants
to handle the matter on his own but Boris
isn’t about to butt out of Hank’s busi-
ness, just like Hank hasn’t let the issue of
Boris’s mysterious illness go. Boris puts
his cadre of lawyers on the case despite Hank’s wishes because he has a vested interest in Hank
keeping his medical license. Boris wants Hank to help him with his potentially terminal genetic
disease that killed his father and his grandfather. Hank agrees as long as there are no more
secrets between them. Unfortunately for Hank, Boris isn’t exactly a tell-all kind of guy.
Meanwhile, HankMed has a new client that is so famous (or more likely, infamous) that Evan
and Divya won’t find out who he or she is until the massive yacht they’re on reaches the even
bigger boat where their mystery client is located. Divya is highly suspicious of the situation.
But the sheer number of zeros on the retainer check they were paid in advance has made Evan
determined to see this through. But when they learn that their new client is a notorious Wall
Street swindler who bilked billions from innocent investors and is hiding from the authorities in
the safety of international waters, Evan has second thoughts. Too bad they can’t turn the boat
around, because the captain of the sailboat literally just had the wind knocked out of him by a
falling sail and is in need of emergency medical attention. Now what?

the Hill sisters, who own and run the his-

attractive young woman is suffering from these strange, possibly unrelated symptoms. Could it
be the spirits of ancestors past?
Meanwhile, Evan secretly goes into crisis mode when he discovers that all of HankMed’s
earnings have disappeared from the company coffers. He needs to recoup before Hank finds
out. He and Hank are also worried that if Divya actually goes through with her marriage to Raj,
chances are she’ll move to London and HankMed will be down one very important employee.
Could this be the end of HankMed?
Charlie continues with his hard sell on Jill to give him a second chance, including moving
back into their house, inferring that he might trade in his motorcycle for an actual car and
cooking her delicious exotic meals. Jill asks Hank to be patient with her as she figures this out.
But as much as Hank likes Jill, he can’t promise he’ll stick around forever – especially when
there might be someone interesting waiting in the wings.

a man named Spencer Fisher who pro-

Evan is making a huge mistake trusting their father will return and thinks he should leave with
him. Evan decides to stay.
Hank can’t find Boris’ file. Divya tells Hank they need to find money soon or they will be in
trouble. Says she doesn’t want to talk about her possible marriage.
Divya calls Evan to ask for help with his confusing accounting system. She demands he return
and help get their money in order. He learns during the conversation that she went through with
her engagement.
Hank meets Boris on his grounds. Hank apologizes for being unavailable, explaining it was
due to family issues he had to handle. Boris found his file lying on a table and is upset.
Dr. Liz Blair Tells Jill she’s upset the hospital is understaffed. She tells Jill the doctors are
not satisfied with their working condition.
Evan finally returns home and apologizes for being stood up by Eddie. He presents a new
”turnaround plan.” During the conversation the phone rings with word that Fisher has had an
accident.
Hank, Divya and Evan arrive at Fisher’s house. Evan tells Hank that that ”Spencer the Spaz”
is the most famous infomercial actor on television. They find him dangling in one of his father’s
ultra-modern mansion’s closets. They lay him down on the floor and Hank looks him over. Fisher
says his back locked up while fixing some lights. Hank diagnoses muscle spasms and tells him

to get sleep and to avoid labor. Evan is obsessed with Fisher’s dads high-tech house and panic
room. Fisher says his dad had been disturbingly eccentric and wants to dismantle the room.
Hank notices medical supplies Jill could use at the hospital.
Liz has filed a complaint against Jill. She seems bothered by how her relationship with Charlie
may have impacted his departure.
Hank is waiting for Jill in her office. She tells him she’s finalized the divorce with Charlie. He
wants to take her on a ride.
Evan is having trouble drumming up business.
Hank takes Jill to Fisher’s place and finds him with his hand nail-gunned to a door. Hank
pulls out the nail with pliers. Fisher tells Jill she can take any of his dad’s supplies she would
like for the hospital’s free clinic. Fisher is worried he’ll end up going crazy the way his father did.
Hank can’t guarantee he won’t, but doesn’t think dismantling the panic room is the right move.
Evan has an idea for marketing the company via infomercial. Hank hates the idea. Hank
leaves and Divya tells him he must first regain his brother’s trust personally before getting to
into the CFO role. She tells him that at the last moment she realized she had to embrace family
and go with the engagement.
Divya goes to the patio to talk with Hank about Evan. She is going to move to London because
”sometimes you have to meet family halfway.” Fisher calls but the signal cuts out.
Hank tells Boris he’s finally reviewed his file. Boris has talked to researchers all over the world
but has gotten no help. Hank thinks someone needs to examine the ”big picture,” talking to all
of the doctors he’s worked with and be his ”quarterback.”
At Fisher’s, Divya tells Evan her wedding is in 60 days. They find Fisher caught in the door of
his father’s panic room.
Hank rushes over a few minutes ahead of the EMTs. The pressure of the door is what is
keeping Fisher alive, so they can’t open it without risking his bleeding out. Fisher starts going
into shock and also has a major cut from the door. The EMT’s arrive and Hank tells him they will
have to rush Fisher to the ER once the door is moved.
During the board meeting to review Liz’ complaint, Jil gets a ’911’ call from Hank. Hank has
Jill go into the hospital basement and find something labeled ”MAST.”
Hank had Jill grab inflatable Military Anti-Shock Trousers to help stabilize Fisher’s blood
pressure. They try to figure out the quickest route to the hospital. Hank has Evan squeeze into
the panic room and hit the release button. They open the door and drag Fisher out. His BP dives.
They stop the bleeding and put on the special pants.
They get Fisher to the hospital and Liz asks Hank to assist.
Evan and Divya talk about family. He tells her he started talking to Eddie about a year ago
and the first thing his father asked was ”how’s Hank?”
Hank tells Fisher he is going to be okay. He tells him his dad’s use of Mercury may have
caused his mental illness. Also that the Mercury was what caused Fisher’s recent clumsiness.
Boris agrees to let Hank contact a previous doctor. Evan arrives having sold his sports car to
help the business’ balance sheet. The brothers seem to make-up.
Hand and Evan walk in the house and find Eddie (Henry Winkler) playing pool. He hands
Hank a check, the return in their investment, and after Hank hands the check off tp Evan,
punches his father in the face.

Hank and Evan go to a party at top client Mrs. Newberg’s mansion. It is a welcome back
party for her stepdaughter Blake. Mrs. Newbert tells them instead of finishing cooking school,
Blake is now dating a yoga instructor. When Mrs. Newberg finds out Hank and Jill are no longer
together, she introduces him to Blake and her boyfriend Jamie, who actually owns six yoga
studios. We learn Blake calls Mrs. Newberg TwoTwo, a childhood name derived from her being
Blake’s ”second mother.” Evan has been leaving the bobble-heads around the party and Hank is
not pleased. Jamie rushes over to tell Hank that Blake is ”in trouble.”
Blake and Jamie had been doing yoga, then fooling around romantically when she lost her
breath. Hank says her vitals are normal.
Hank, Evan and and Divya help Jill with a yard sale. Evan meets a neighbor (Sherry) who
makes leather goods. He hits on her. She introduces him to her large cop husband. Divya tells
Jill she and Raj haven’t consummated their relationship. Jill thinks Divya should find out if they
are sexually compatible before they get married.
Hank and Evan are pulled over by Sherry’s husband John after the yard sale. He puts Hank
in the back of his squad car and gets in with him. John tells Hank he has a rash on his stomach.

the window. An angry Eddie wakes up and tells them he was just taking a nap. Eddie tells them
he waiting for the rest of their money to arrive. Grudgingly Hank invites Eddie to stay with them.

been married, but fooled around a little when they were dating. Jill calls Hank and tells her that
Sherry has a rash ”down there.”

drawn up.
Hanks meet with Blake. She tells him she hasn’t been wearing the heart monitor due to vanity.

thinks that the other has cheated.
Eddie gets a tee-time for him and Evan at an exclusive golf course. Eddie wants to connect

Divya goes to Blake’s house and removes her monitor. While there Divya reads a text message
from Jamie breaking up with Blake. Mrs. Newberg walks in while Blake is crying.
Hank and Jill watch John moving out his stuff. Sherri has kicked him out. Hank and Jill start
fooling around. Hank gets a call from Mrs. Newberg saying that Blake is having a heart attack.
Hank finds Blake in cardiac failure at Mrs. Newberg’s place. He has them take her to the
hospital. Test results show that over the past 24 hours Blake’s heart monitor was clean. Hank
tells Blake that she didn’t have a heart attack. Instead she had a reaction to deep emotional
stress. Apparently Jamie wasn’t good for her heart.
Divya tells Raj that actually she doesn’t want a pre-nup and mentions her interest in sex.
Hank and Divya discuss how Sherri and John could both have syphilis. Evan shows up and
tell them he’s landed some ”whale” medical clients. Hank wonders if Sherri has been making belt

Summary: When the star of a popular film franchise collapses, Hank discovers his
patient’s illness is caused by the very thing that’s made him famous.
Meanwhile, Eddie surprises Hank and Evan with the news he’s staying
                      in the Hamptons.

Popular movie actor Donald has a
meeting in the Hamptons to look at the
next script in his line of films. Donald
is known for playing a character called
the Garbage Collector. Donald is shown
a script which he and his representative
Faith decide to take with them to examine
more closely. The studio rep wants Don-
ald to show up at a party for her son in
                                                        full Garbage Collector regalia.
Following the meeting Donald gets pulled over by the police. He is given a field sobriety test
and begins staggering toward the officer, who promptly tazes him. Hank and Evan happen to
drive by and see Donald gasping for air. They have him uncuffed and bring him to his feet.
Evan is a huge fan of Donald’s work. Donald tells Evan he slowly built his career up from
being a bodyguard.
Hank has lunch with Mrs. Newburg with the intention of warning her against Eddie. Eddie
shows up at the restaurant and Hank takes off.
Hank takes a sample of Boris’ DNA to send off for testing.
Faith and Donald show up at the house. Faith tells Hank about symptoms he’s been having
related to his legs, feet and balance. They are there because Donald has an insurance physical
coming up.
Faith and Evan step outside and Evan asks to take her around the Hamptons. Faith tells him
she is Donald’s little sister.
Faith and Evan have lunch. She tells him they drive across the country for all of his personal
appearances. Faith suggests they leave the restaurant without even touching her food. She takes
a call and excuses herself. Evan calls Hank and asks him to call him back so he can get out of
the date. When Faith returns she tells Evan exactly the same things she did before she left.

Hank tells Donald he is slightly anemic but otherwise okay. During the conversation Donald
is unaware that an espresso machine is blowing steam on his hand.
Hank asks Jill if she knows where he can find an MRI to fit Donald, who is seven feet tall. Jill
and Hank bring Donald to an MRI used for horses.
Evan and Eddie play tennis together. Evan is ignoring his cell phone and tells Eddie he’s
avoiding Faith. A delivery man shows up with supplies for Hank and Eddie signs for them. Evan
walks up to the house and finds Faith there. She mistakenly thinks it is a different day.
At the party for the studio rep’s kid, Evan asks Hank to help him avoid the crazy Faith. Hank
pops in to see Donald, who is prepping for his appearance. Donald walks out in his costume and
none of the kids seem to care. Hank throws a plastic bottle in the trash and Donald grabs him
and prepares to throw him in the trash. During this skit Donald cannot feel his legs and falls
down on Hank.
Evan tells Hank he doesn’t know how to handle Faith because he’s scared of Donald. Hank
looks at the equipment Eddie signed for and realized it was for Boris. Hank asks Boris about
the medication he ordered. Boris tells Hank not to worry about the medication, but is upset that
Eddie felt comfortable enough to sign for the package.
Hank tells Donald his spinal tap came back okay and he is stumped. Donald mentions that
Faith has been on a diet.
At Donald’s place, Faith tells Evan that she has been offered a job at a law firm. After passing
the bar she couldn’t turn Donald when he asked her to work for him. Evan tells her he thinks
she should leave Donald to help her career. Faith leaves to take her vitamins. Jill, who is a huge
fan of Donald’s, shows up at the house. Hank seems slightly jealous of her interest in Donald.
Donald finds Faith unconscious on the patio. Hank helps clear Faith’s airway with at tube and
finds some large pills blocking her esophagus. Faith tells Hank she recently had a gastric bypass
and has been having trouble with the diet. He tells the diet issues could also be causing her
short-term memory loss. Faith does not want to tell Donald.
Hank tells Evan he snapped at Boris. Hank is frustrated by Eddie, specifically by his signing
for Boris’ medication.
Hank goes to visit Donald who had breathing difficult while carrying some boxes. Donald is
showing signs of low copper levels. Donald has been using too much denture cream for the fake
teeth he wears in his role.
Faith and Donald thank Hank and Evan for helping them out. They have decided to dissolve
their professional relationship and Faith is going to take the law firm job.
Eddie meets Hank at a restaurant. Hank says he thinks his father should leave the Hamptons.
Eddie is upset at being treated that way by his son. Hank mentions Eddie walking out on their
family and Eddie is furious. He is upset Hank went to Mrs. Newburg and says he isn’t going
anywhere.
Hank, Evan and Divya watch Donald’s latest film. They love it. Hank assures them that the
relationship with Boris is ”fine.” Hank goes for a run and is nearly run over by an attractive
woman in a flashy sports car, who is there to meet with Boris.
We see Boris meet with the woman. He has her sign a piece of paper and refers to her as his
new concierge doctor.

Summary: Boris flies Hank to another country, where he and another doctor re-
search potentially life saving gene therapies. Back in the Hamptons,
Hank’s temporary replacement, Dr. Emily Peck, rubs Divya the wrong
                      way.

Evan is showing Hank another of
                                                       his marketing ideas: monogrammed carry
bags as Hank is preparing for a one-day
trip to New York City to help Boris with a
genetics trial. Hank is taking Boris’ pri-
vate jet and Evan ultimately convinces
Hank to let him tag along.
Once they are on the plane Hank real-
izes the flight is longer than a trip to the
city. They land in a tropical island and
Boris is there to greet them: ”Welcome to Cuba.”
Boris tells Hank he felt the need to trick him in order to get him down there. He has arraged
for a doctor to cover Hank’s work for the weekend. Boris tells him Dr. Caseras (Marissa) has
diagnosed him with a hereditary mutation that will eventual destroy his brain, muscles and
bones. Marissa has a clinical trial down in Cuba and Boris wants Hank to help him with the
pre-trial testing.
Back in the Hamptons, Divya meets Dr. Emily Peck, Hank’s replacement for the weekend.
Emily shows Divya a note from Boris and makes a crack about her being late.
Evan is upset Hank won’t have any time to hang out with him while they’re in Cuba. Evan goes
exploring by himself and finds a man selling scuba trips. When he is lacking cash a Canadian
woman named Mindy pays for him as she needs a ”dive buddy.” She is in Cuba with some
girlfriends and they are more interested in working on their tans than scuba.
Boris brings Hank to Marissa’s facility. She thanks Hank for encouraging Boris to explore
genetic testing but doesn’t seem to like the fact Hank is down there with him.
Hank tells Marissa she’s lucky to have a man like Boris as a benefactor. She thinks he is
suspicious and doesn’t seem to care for Hank’s concern over the safety of her trial.
While scuba diving Evan and Mindy seem to connect. They encounter a Man O’ War and
manage to safely swim back to the boat. Once on deck Mindy accidentally whacks Evan in the
head with her air tank and he falls in the water.

Hank is called to the beach and uses pieces of a beach bag to use hair braids to close the cut
on his scalp. Mindy and her friends leave.
Before an appointment with Alan, Emily doesn’t have any interest in Divya providing her with
information. Alan continues to have migraines and Emily orders an MRI. Divya thinks it is a
mistake but Emily does not care.
Boris takes Hank and Evan to dinner. Evan is frustrated things didn’t take off with Mindy.
Boris takes them to a square where Marissa is handing out the medication he had had delivered
to the house last episode (for which Eddie had signed).
Divya goes to see Jill and asks about Emily. Jill looks up her sparkling resume on the hospital
server.
That night Hank is very interested to watch Marissa and Boris dancing romantically. He is
upset that it appears Boris is in a relationship with his doctor.
Hank confronts Boris about Marissa while performing a biopsy. Hank also isn’t thrilled Boris
is funding her research.
While Evan works on purchasing some cigars he runs into Mindy. She seems happy to see
him but already has plans for the evening. Evan trades his cell phone for the cigars. We see that
a shadowy figure was watching this whole transaction.
Alan’s test results come back normal, but he is frustrated his headaches won’t go away. Emily
gives him an injection of Botox to help what she believes to be tension headaches, and offers to
inject the Botox for its more popular use: getting rid of wrinkles. Divya is upset that Emily is
advocating cosmetic surgery to patients.
Hank tells Boris his lab results make him a strong candidate for the clinical trial. He wants
to do some research into the trial while Boris wants to charge into the trial immediately. Boris
seems to agree they should wait.
At a party Evan tells Hank he thinks the Cuban government might be following him. Hank
meets a pretty girl. Mindy comes running into the bar to tell Hank her friends Susie is in bad
shape.
Susie is having complications from several plastic surgeries and Hank takes her to the hospi-
tal. Hank pretends to be Susie’s cousin and helps the local doctor. They determine she has the
bends (caisson disease) due to a combination of anesthesia and scuba diving.
Mindy thanks Evan for helping her friend. She says she’s going to have some free time coming
up. Evan is disappointed he’s supposed to leave in the morning. The two kiss and appear they
will spend his last night in Cuba together.
The next morning Hank arrives as Mindy is leaving. Evan borrows Hank’s phone to go buy
more cigars, the goal being to give them to their top clients. Hank looks through one of the
windows and is disturbed to see Boris starting the clinical trial.
Boris tells Hank he ”made a decision.” He thought Marissa’s plan made sense and so he chose
not to wait. He asks Hank to wait through the trial. Hank says no and chases Marissa into the
parking lot. Hank tells her it’s clear that she still loves him. She seems to agree and is happy to
be treating him again, even though the situation isn’t ideal.
Emily gives Divya her card for the next time they need help. Divya rips it up and tells her she
isn’t professional.
Before boarding the jet, Hank tells Boris he hopes everything works out for him. Hank will
continue to look for a cure. Evan is not on board the plane.
Evan is off looking for his cigar dealer. In an alley a man grabs Evan and throws him into a
car which peels off as the episode ends.

car’s sister Carmen, the bartender, is

                                                       prised the men have Evan.
Hank calls Divya with an update. He’s
not sure where Evan is but will be leaving
soon for the Hamptons. Emily will con-
tinue to fill in.
Carmen’s uncle had his hand stuck in the gears of a machine. Glancing at Evan’s ”Han-
kMed” bag the two men thought he was Doctor Hank. When Evan tells her she needs to call an
ambulance Carmen says she cannot: ”He’s already dead.”
Carmen rushes to Boris’ place to get Hank.
Divya and Jill wait in line at a coffee shop. While putting up with a jerk from the city, Jill
invites her to go see a band at a beer garden. Divya passes and leaves when she gets a page.
We learn that Carmen’s uncle is a writer in hiding and pretending to be dead to avoid gov-
ernment attention. While Hank assesses the man’s finger Evan finds out the cigars Oscar sold
him were fakes. Using dental floss Hank is able to get the uncle’s finger out without any major
damage.
Divya goes to her appointment and finds Emily has beaten her there. Emily says she thinks
Divya is threatened by other women and probably doesn’t have any close female friends. Divya

counters that she was hanging out with Jill. Emily thinks that means her comments from the
previous episode were simply personal.
Carmen has been posting her uncle’s writings online from the nightclub where she works.
Hank notices something strange with Carmen’s uncle’s hand and eyes.
Oscar and his buddy are playing dominoes and want Evan to join. Evan is still mad he gave
up his cell’ ’phone for fake cigars. Oscar says he will get it back when they return to town.
Hank thinks Carmen’s uncle has a heart issue. He needs an echo-cardiogram but they are
too scared to take him to a hospital. Hank says he has another option.
Evan and Oscar go to see the man to whom Oscar gave the phone. The man doesn’t want to
sell it, but may agree to play them in dominoes. Evan says he used to play and they move over
to the table.
Divya meets Jill at the concert after all. They seem to get along and discuss relationships.
Hank sneaks Carmen and her husband into Marissa’s clinic. When Carmen walks away the
uncle tells Hank that she is single and encourages him to pursue her. Hank sneaks him into a
room but finds no gel necessary for the machine procedure.
Jill asks Divya about Hank. Divya mentions that he is in Cuba. The annoying guy comes over
and starts hitting on Divya. She turns him down and they get up to leave.
Hank looks for Marissa. Instead he finds Boris who is having his treatment done. Boris seems
a little off but tells Hank he’s fine. Boris instructs Hank to take one of the echo machines and do
the test at his place.
Hank loads the machine into Carmen’s car but tells them to head to Boris’ place without
him. He goes back upstairs hoping to run a quick test on Boris but learns that he is already
coding. We see Boris seizing in his bed. Fluent in medical Spanish, Hank immediately takes over
and works to get Boris stable. Marissa walks in and Boris tells her he wants Hank to treat him.
Hank isn’t sure what is happening to Boris and is treating for several possibilities. Hank thinks
Marissa should re-infuse Boris with some of his old bone marrow she had collected.
Evan and Oscar win the domino match as a team and get back the phone. Evan feels bad
about being so grouchy earlier and gives Oscar the phone.
Boris’ condition has greatly improved. Marissa comforts Boris and Hank leaves.
Jill and Divya leave the concert. They appear to be building a friendship. The annoying guy
from earlier approaches them again and Divya ends up deftly incapacitating him with a kick to
the kidney.
The test reveals that Carmen’s uncle is fine but needs six weeks of IV antibiotics. Hank takes
Carmen aside and assures her they must get the medicine for him. She makes a pass at Hank
but he turns her down, citing professionalism. They nearly kiss but are interrupted by Marissa,
who has shown up and is furious her equipment is helping ”an enemy of the state.”
Hank ends up talking Marissa down, telling her that Boris gave the go-ahead and took the
risk of allowing them to use his place in order to protect her clinic. Marissa agrees to get the man
drugs, which can be self-administered.
Divya and Emily go to lunch. During the meal a boy chokes on a piece of pasta. Divya ends
up helping the boy while Emily sits in her chair doing nothing. She tells Divya as long as the
problem was being taken care of there was no reason for her to risk a lawsuit. Divya assures
Emily that it isn’t women she has a problem with, it is her.
Oscar gets Evan some Dominican cigars. Carmen and her family leave Boris’ place. After Hank
gives Carmen advice for her uncle’s treatment they kiss.
Sitting with Boris and Marissa, Hank assures her she made more progress with Boris’ condi-
tion than any other doctor. Boris asks to be cleared medically and to stay for a few weeks, but
just to spend time romantically with Marissa.
Hank and Evan board Boris’ plane. Hank tells Evan that he was always jealous of the way
Evan made their mother laugh. The brothers agree they make good traveling partners as the
private flight attendant produces a box of genuine Monte Cristo cigars.
Back in the Hamptons Hank, Evan and Divya smoke a few of Boris’ Cuban cigars while

Summary: When Tucker’s best friend returns to the Hamptons, his reckless be-
havior causes Tucker to suspect the worst, but Hank realizes a medi-
cal condition is to blame. Meanwhile, Divya treats a woman who fears
her job as a winemaker is on the line when her symptoms hinder her
palate – but learns the problem is much less complicated than she
                       first thought.

Open with Tucker and his girlfriend
parting ways before he hops into his Fer-
rari and heads off to a winery to meet
his best friend Oliver just back from col-
lege. They decide to race the sports car
and forklift Oliver is driving. During the
short race Oliver had trouble staying con-
                                                         scious.
Eddie is late meeting Evan for lunch.
They discuss the fact Hank still doesn’t
want to see Eddie. Eddie gives Evan a picture from his childhood, the ”best day ever,” according
to Evan. It is the two kids sitting with Eddie.
Hank arrives at the winery looking for Tucker. A woman points Hank in the right directions
before slamming some pain pills. Divya notices and the woman, Kim the winemaker, says she’s
been having headaches.
Hank takes care of a hematoma under one of Oliver’s toenails. We learn that they’ve been
friends since they were little. After Hank takes care of the toe Oliver is completely asleep. Oliver
(whose family owns the winery) has been fatigued since he returned to help prepare for a re-
launch after switching to biodynamic grape production. Switching to the more environmentally
friendly way of doing business was Oliver’s idea, in fact, and he is scheduled to give a speech at
the party. Tucker points out that Oliver had been having issues oversleeping while still at college.
Hank guesses mono and wants to do a tox screen.
Divya learns Jill is going to the winery part as well. Jill has been nauseous and has been
having cravings. Divya purchases a pregnancy test for Jill and Evan sees this at the check-out
and jumps to an erroneous assumption. Jill’s test comes back not pregnant.

Evan tells Hank about Divya buying the test and is assuming she is pregnant. Evan invited
Eddie to the winery and Hank isn’t happy. Evan shows Hank the picture. Evan remembers they
were on a treasure hunt, which leads to a . . .
Flashback: The kids are standing by a fence as it appears someone is cutting a lock with
bolt-cutters.
”I don’t remember it that way,” Hank says.
At the party, Hank and Jill have an awkward conversation. Hank then sees Tucker and Oliver
and tells Oliver mono was negative and symptoms don’t add-up for narcolepsy. Hank suggests
an MRI but Oliver declines.
Divya sees Kim still pounding aspirin. She tells Divya her health insurance coverage hasn’t
kicked-in yet. Evan walks over and starts prying about the possible pregnancy test. At this point
Kim discovers that Evan might be a super-taster (more taste buds than the normal person). Evan
is excited he has a ”superpower,” Divya is annoyed.
Tucker finds Oliver drinking wine in the vineyard. He seems drunk, is chugging a bag of chips
and is acting weird. Eventually Tucker (who is a hemophiliac) angrily breaks a wine bottle and
begins bleeding from his hand.
Hank takes care of Tucker’s hand. Oliver leaves and Tucker complains to Hank about how his
friend is acting. Tucker suspects drugs.
Kim gives Evan a private tasting and discovers he is an outstanding taster. She complains to
Divya that she’s been unable to taste. Several years ago her sense of taste improved dramatically
after a medical procedure, which led to her entering the winemaking field. Two days ago all the
wines started tasting the same. Divya demands she have a CT scan.
Eddie runs into Hank. He is pushing his new energy company to potential investors. Hank
asks about the treasure hunt picture. Hank remembers Eddie’s car getting repossessed, while
Eddie tells him it was actually falsely impounded.
Flashback: Young Hank is fed through a window. Before grabbing Eddie’s keys a large Rot-
tweiler shows up and starts acting territorial, chasing him to the top of a filing cabinet. We hear
Eddie’s voice tell him to use what he can find.
Eddie tells Hank that was the day he knew his son could do anything. Hank is still upset at
the memory. Divya shows up and tells Hank about Kim.
Moments before Oliver’s speech Tucker tells Hank he cannot find his friend. Hank tells Tucker
about his father blowing their family’s money and tells Tucker he understands what it’s like if
he’s having money problems. Oliver’s parents take the mic and introduce Oliver. Hank notices
that they are more fair-skinned than their son. This gives Hank an idea. After a call for Oliver’s
lab work, Hank tells Tucker his friend has a treatable disease related to his adrenal gland. They
need to find Oliver immediately.
We cut to Oliver sitting above a fermentation tank. He gets up too quickly and accidentally
falls in.
Before Kim is about to have her CT scan Evan admits to thinking Divya is pregnant. This
leads to Divya having a revelation: Kim is pregnant.
Hank and Tucker find Oliver in the bottom of the fermentation tank. Eddie walks in to help
look. Despite Hank’s warnings about the toxic fumes Tucker jumps right in after his friend and
immediately passes out next to him. Hank and Eddie find a fan and use it ventilate the tank from
below. Father and son start making a pulley as we get a...
Flashback: Young Hank also makes a pulley, this connected to a magnet in order to grab a
set of car keys off the wall.
The fan helps revive Tucker, who places the harness around Oliver. Hank and Eddie pull
Oliver to safety. Oliver’s breathing is labored. Hank helps pull Tucker out as Eddie watches
Oliver. Tucker seems okay, but Oliver has an airway obstruction and is turning blue. With help
from Eddie finding materials from the room, Hank constructs a makeshift way of intubating
Oliver and saves his life. Eddie is impressed. Hank calls Eddie Dad.
Divya tells Kim her taste should come back within months. Divya references leaving the coun-
try when she marries and Evan tells her he’s not sure if they can operate the company without
her help.

Oliver and Tucker are loaded into ambulances. Eddie is super-proud of his son’s work.
Hank tells Tucker that Oliver will be fine. Tucker asks about Hank and Eddie working so well
together. Tucker tells Hank that his grandfather is leaving him the family’s money and placing
him in charge of his father’s allowance. Hank thinks Tucker can handle it.
Hank has a blindfolded Evan test his sense of taste on cereal. Evan tells Hank that he was
right about the treasure hunt when they were kids. Hank contradicts him, saying that Evan was
actually right.
Flashback to the treasure hunt day: Both kids look happy as they pose for the picture with
Eddie.

Summary: Hank helps out a food truck owner who is displaying strange, anti-
social behavior, while Evan is a ”faux beau” for a young woman who
doesn’t want her parents to know she’s dating a much older photogra-
                      pher.

Open with Jill eating from a gourmet
lobster, macaroni and cheese truck. Pro-

bender. Mac says he and his wife Donna
have been having trouble. Jill tells him
that he could have called Hank. When
she tells him that she gave Hank’s num-
ber to Donna, Mac says that he and
                                                        Donna are speaking.
Jill tells Hank that the hospital is
dragging its feet regarding her family clinic and it could be five years until it even opens. She
asks him about Emily staying in town and running a competing concierge practice.
Evan tells Divya he is thinking about buying a new Jaguar. They get a call at the house where
Mac and Donna are staying. Donna broke her ankle. She tells him she’s not comfortable there
and admits to tying Mac to a piece of furuniture while he was asleep so she could pack up
the truck undisturbed. Hank sees Mac fall into the pool while struggling to free himself from a
deck chair. He dives in and rescues the man. Donna tells Hank and Divya that Mac has been
shamelessly flirting with every woman he sees since they arrived in the Hamptons. They are
recently married and live in Queens, and Mac’s wealthy cousin gave them use of his house for
the Summer.
We see a young woman named Paige, a ”rich heiress,” talking on the phone with her mother
and trying to convince mom that she has a boyfriend. Paige meets Hank and Evan on the beach
and tells them she called two doctors to work on her boyfriend (who is considerably older) Graham
who sliced his leg while kiteboarding. Emily is already there and finishing up with the stitches.
Divya is having dress issues during the fitting of her wedding gown. Her mother informs her
that she plans to consult her spiritual leader.
Before Hank leaves, Paige asks him if he’ll pretend to be her boyfriend for her parents’ sake.
Her parents wouldn’t understand Graham’s age. Hank says he’s not interested.
Hank notices Graham standing on top of his car fastening his board. Emily tells Hank she
checked him for a head injury and he’s fine. We see that Graham clearly is having some sort of
balance issues.

Evan convinces Paige that Hank will never say yes, she agrees to let him pose as her more
age-appropriate boyfriend instead. Though she’s dated Graham for 16 months, Paige now needs
money from her parents to go on a trip with Graham and must show them proof.
Hank goes to see Graham, who has burned himself in his dark room. Hank looks at the
chemicals which Graham has been using since he was a kid. He has accidentally mixed two of
them to form a dangerous explosive and Hank suggests he has his eyes checked.
While Divya works on Donna she has another fight with Mac. Mac complains the medicine
his wife gave him isn’t working.
Paige takes Evan to get a makeover, followed by the two taking a bunch of digital effects photos
making it look as if they are enjoying one another’s company during youthful pursuits, and have
a real relationship. During this process she ends up kissing Evan. Evan seems to be falling for
her.
Divya tells Hank she has concerns about Donna and Mac. An obviously upset Evan returns
home and calls himself a ”dirty whore.” Divya asks Hank to test the medicine Donna was giving
Mac.
Emily arrives at Hank’s place, upset with him for stealing Graham. She says that Hank
”stoled” Graham. Hanks mentions her slaughter of the English language. She mentions that
he had a mountain biking accident before the kiteboarding incident. She thinks it’s age-related,
Hank disagrees. Whoever is right has to buy the other one dinner. Jill arrives and is introduced
to Emily. Hank gives Jill advice on making her family clinic happen.
Evan tells Hank and Divya he is easily seduced by money and fame. To push himself he is
going to sell his Jaguar and give the money to the company. Divya realizes she has misplaced
her engagement ring but where.
Divya goes to Donna’s looking for the ring. They spot blood on the stairs and rush inside. Mac
is fine. The blood was from Donna’s ankle and it appears Divya’s ring is inside her cast. With
Mac covered in macaroni and moving about strangely Hank suggest a neuro-exam.
Evan goes to Paige’s place and runs into Graham who has found evidence of them kissing in
the camera booth.
Mac’s symptoms since they’ve arrived in the Hamptons – anti-social behavior, need to touch,
increased appetite – have Hank concerned. Donna mentions that Mac’s truck was his when they
were in New York.
Evan tells Graham about the pretend relationship and the reason for it. Graham keels over
and asks Evan to call Hank.
During an exam Hank suggests Graham is having strokes in his eye. At this point Graham
has an embolism in his ”camera eye” and Hank ends up having to drain fluid and to save his
eyesight with a make-shift emergency procedure.
Divya tells Hank that Mac does have a neurological condition, which they can take care of.
Divya’s ring is actually inside Mack’s stomach, along with a key and other inedible items.
Divya’s mother notices her ring is missing. Her mother’s spiritual leader told her that Divya
is destined to love another.
Jill and Divya talk over some macaroni and cheese. We see Mac is doing much better.
Hank and Emily have dinner. They seem to be hitting it off. When they discuss the dinner bet,
they agree it’s a split so Emily suggest that they go ”Danish” on the bill. Hank points out that
the correct word is ”Dutch.” He then tells her that she mixes up her words when she’s flustered.
Hank mentions that the other alternative is that she has a neurological condition. Emily proceeds
to kick his butt in a game of pool.
Hank buys Evan a new, more modest van. Paige pulls up and tells Evan that her parents are
coming to town and she needs him to meet them since Graham, upset at the revelation of the
charade she planned, has left her and gone off to another part of the world for another robust
adventure.
Hank goes to see Jill at the hospital. She proposes that Hank’s company run her new clinic.
He appears to like the idea.

Hank and Evan arrive at a case. They are meeting Divya there because she needs to leave
early for a bridal tea her mother is throwing for her in Manhattan. Evan expreses concern about
the arranged marriage.
The case involves a man complaining of sinusitis over the last year. It is a CEO named Ken.
Hank asks about pressure in the nose, but the man says that it is pain. Hank isn’t treating Ken
very nicely and Divya notices. Hank says he will write a refill Rx for Ken.
Outside Hank tells Divya he knew Ken from junior high. Ken bullied Hank, stealing his lunch
money and breaking his nose. Hank has always dreamt of getting even.
Jill arrives at Hank’s place. Before heading to the city for Divya’s tea, she wants to take the
guys to a potential test case for their new clinic.
They go see a woman who dislocated her shoulder at the gym. Hank puts it back in place.
The woman says she’s only part-time employed. Evan spots a portable stripper pole, which the
woman says is her roommate’s.
Divya meets them on their way out of the house and leaves with Jill for the tea. After the girls
leave Evan holds up the dancer Karma’s business card and tells Hank they should throw Raj a
bachelor party.
During Divya’s tea her sister says she has to leave because her husband needs him to pick
him up for an earlier flight. Divya wants to join her on the drive so they can spend time together.

a roommate, and that she is Karma. Hank and Evan look outside and see that Raj has invited a
massive group of people.
Divya and Jill have an animated cab driver named Aristotle who claims he will show them all
the best night clubs. Divya gets a call that her sister is having a medical emergency. They arrive
at the hotel and find her ”coworker” unable to breathe. Divya sticks him with an epi pen and
he seems to recover. He tells her he used a new coconut-based lotion and Divya writes him a
prescription. Divya smells the same lotion on her sister and realizes she is having an affair.
Deiter tells Hank he took the liberty of ”supplementing” Raj’s guest list. Boris apparently is
doing well in Cuba and suggested expanding the guest list. Hank runs into Ken, who Evan clearly
remembers from the old day. Hank pretends not to remember him. Ken says he didn’t realize who
Hank was.
Divya’s sister tells her that her affair is how you make an arranged marriage work.
Evan asks Raj about his social life in a somewhat inquisitive manner. Hank runs into Emily.
Karma grabs Raj for a private dance.
Divya tells Jill she’s worried her arranged marriage will end up like her sisters. She calls Raj.
Karma walks out of her private dance with Raj and tells Evan ”I’m pretty sure that doesn’t
happen all the time.” Evan, who has Raj’s phone, looks down and sees a text from Divya which
reads ”I love you.” Evan covers for Raj by responding: ”Love you, can’t wait to marry you.”
Divya shows Jill the text she thinks is from Raj. Aristotle appears and Divya says she wants
to celebrate. He will show them around in exchange for a check-up for his acid reflux.
As Karma dances around the pole, a drunken Ken wanders towards the stage. She acciden-
tally kicks him directly in the face.
Hank cleans up Ken’s massively broken nose. Emily suggests Hank wait before realigning the
nose. Hank does not listen. Karma will not tell Evan what happened with Raj, but says she needs
to find him because ”we have unfinished business.” Dieter tells Evan that the room in which Raj
got his private dance is equipped with video surveillance.
Divya and Jill drink and dance at a club. Afterwards they find Aristotle returning to the cab
from yet another trip to the bathroom. Divya thinks he might have something more than reflux
Hank and Emily sit and talk alone. Eventually they start to kiss.
Divya diagnoses Aristotle as diabetic and the girls continue to party.
    ”Back Where We Started”
Hank and Emily are kissing in the hammock. Ken arrives and tells them his nose won’t stop
bleeding. Hank sees that he is leaking spinal fluid and needs a CT. Evan arrives and grabs Hank.
Jill and Divya are unable to wake Aristotle at the wheel. Apparently he stopped for donuts
and is unconscious in a hypoglycemic coma. They rush him to the hospital.
Evan tells Hank that he has found Raj on the floor in a pool of blood. Evan recalls seeing
Raj talking with Karma and ran at him in anger, causing Raj to fall over a ledge. Hank quickly
realizes that the red liquid is a Bloody Mary. Raj wakes up and remembers Evan trying to run
towards him but being too drunk and falling on his face. Raj dragged Evan to a chair and simply
passed out later with a drink in his hand. Raj tells Evan that Karma went home.
Ken has his CT with Hank and Emily in the room. The results show that Ken has had a
minature toy sword in his sinus cavity since childhood. Evan correctly guessed that Ken fought
with his brothers over action figures as a kid and one got shoved up there. This is the cause of
the his sinus pain.
A recovered Aristotle tells the women he wanted one last hurrah. They run into Hank and
Evan who are wheeling Ken into the hospital. Raj runs up saying he remembers allowing Karma
to borrow Evan’s minivan. Raj gives Divya a kiss and tells her he’ll see her later. Ken apologizes
to Hank for the way he acted when they were in middle school.
Evan and Hank discuss Raj’s dance with Karma. Evan wonders whether he should watch the
surveillance tape of Raj’s dance. Hank says he shouldn’t. Evan seems a little concerned about
Hank’s possible involvement with Emily.

Divya has found the note from Dieter and tape of the private dance. As she glances at the
note, Karma walks in to return Evan’s van. She congratulates Divya on having such a great man
in Raj. Divya starts to watch the tape and Evan runs in. Raj declines the dance, instead offering
Karma work at one of his hotels and saying complimentary things about Divya.
The tape then cuts to a drunk Evan dancing on the stripper pole by himself. Badly.

patient’s mother is a familiar face from Hamptons Heritage.

a full page ad. They start to fool around
which leads to her admitting having a fear
                                                           of intimacy.
Early the next morning Hank, Evan,
Divya and Jill visit Jim a patient who suf-
fers from Hepatitis. On the way the discuss fighting back against the negative press. Hand brings
Jim more meds and treats a wound on his ankle.
Hank drives Jill home and on the way spots Dr. Blair. Jill tries to hide, but Blair walks over
to the car and discuses the article. Blair thinks the smart thing to do is wait a few years for the
hospital to sset up the clinic, Jill is worried there are no guarantees they will ever open it. Blair
thinks she and Jill can do good work together.
Hank goes to see Jamie, a divorcee who thinks his 7-year old son Jake gets sick every time he
returns from visiting his mother. Hank examines Jake and doesn’t find anything wrong. Jamie
is worried about allergies and Hank orders a scratch test.
Paige meets with Evan to brief him on an upcoming lunch with her parents. She thinks
keeping the current lie going will be easier than telling her parents (particularly her father) the
truth. Paige’s father is William Collins, a retired general who is the CEO of a Fortune 500 defense
contractor and possible presidential candidate. Her father is a man’s man and Paige coaches him
in matters bourbon and hunting.
The lunch with William and Paige’s mother, Ellen, seems to go well. Evan ends up saying a few
nice things about Paige that weren’t scripted. Afterwards they get to talking about hunting and
before Paige can stop them there is a hunting trip scheduled for Wednesday. Complete novice
Evan is petrified.

Evan tells Hank and Divya the plan is for him to pair-up with Paige and have her do all the
shooting. He also hints that he is starting to really like Paige.
Hank arrives to see Jake’s mother and is stunned to see she is none other than Dr. Blair. Blair
tells Hank she’s never seen Jake sick and thinks he’s grown out of the allergies Jamie worries
about. We see Jake playing with the girls he likes, Olivia. Once again he tells Hank he feels fine.
Hank is woken up in the middle of the night by a call from Emily. She wants him to come over
because she is ”lonely.”
At the beginning of the hunting day William insists that he hunts with Evan and they have a
men vs. women contest. William gives Evan instructions he doesn’t understand.
Both Blair and Jamie are distractions as Hank tries to conduct the scratch test. Divya takes
the bickering parents away and Hank sees that Olivia has written ”POO” on Jake’s chest. Jake
says he doesn’t understand girls. Blair and Jamie return during the test and again cannot con-
tain their arguing around their son.
William criticizes for resting his gun on a tree when he goes to the bathroom.
Emily runs into Jill in town. Emily has positive things to say about the clinic and offers her
services.
Evan screws up again, this time making noise right as William is about to shoot. William
demands he stay behind him, but after Evan turns around William is nowhere to be found. We
see the women are about to end their day and find Evan and William. Just then we hear a shot
and what sounds like Evan yelling.
Hank is called to see Jamie and Blair. Once again they are fighting over Jake’s health, with
Jamie refusing to let him go to his mother’s house because he always returns sick. Upstairs Jake
is feeling sick. He throws up on Hank’s shoes and says he feels better. He’s thrown up several
times that week but not told his parents because he thought it would make them fight. Divya
pops in to tell Hank that Evan has a ”912” emergency. Hank sends Divya.
We see that William has accidentally shot Evan in the behind (a ”flesh wound”) after losing
track of him. William is upset because gunshot wounds have to be reported and this won’t play
well with the press. William says he doesn’t care for Evan and starts to offer to pay him to leave
his daughter alone with the women come running.
Hank tells Jake’s parents he’s been whitholding from them. They both admit Jake’s had
trouble with the divorce. He’s begun to fear the dark and won’t sleep with his door closed. Blair
can’t believe she missed her own son’s illness.
Divya pulls the pellets out of Evan’s behind. Hank walks in and basically everyone laughs at
Evan. Evan tells them he shot himself when he propped his gun against a tree, it fell over and
went off.
Emily and Hank meet at night near the beach. They begin to kiss, but Hank’s phone rings. It
is test results about Jake which have him confused. He is called again, this time it’s Jake saying
his parents are both unconscious in his room and he doen’t know what to. Hank keeps has Emily
call 911 and rushes to Jake’s home.
With help from Emily, Hank is able to give Jake’s parents oxygen and get them conscious.
They are suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning which has come from a faulty hot water
heater attached to a new hot tub. The heater has been piping carbon monoxide into Jake’s room
and his fear of the dark probably saved his life.
On their way out of town William attempt to give Evan a check ”for your medical expenses.”
Evan turns him down.
Jake is excited to tell Hank that ”POO” meant Property of Olivia. Blair thanks Hank for his
good work and gives him a bag of homegrown tomatoes. Blair tells Hank she hasn’t changed her
mind about the HankMed clinic and now wants to take the clinic back immediately.
Evan begins to tell Hank about how he got shot but changes his mind at the last minute.
Evan then tells Hank that Emily has stolen Jake as a patient.
Hank confronts Emily about Jake. She doesn’t really apologize, saying she’s competitive and
Jamie was worried Hank was too chummy with Blair. During the conversation she unbuttons
her shirt and the start fooling around on the couch.

Paige brings Evan payment for lunch and hunting with his parents. He tells her he no longer
wants to take her money which leads to her asking him out on a real date.
On the way to see Jim Jill tells Hank she wants them to move forward and that Emily volun-
teered. Jim’s liver test numbers are spectacular and his ankle has completely healed.

both for conditions that appear to be related to their newly lavish
lifestyle. Meanwhile, Divya finds herself taken aback by her attrac-

the home of a kidney transplant patient.

In a small town somewhere (we know

named Roy comes home and announces
to his wife Ginnie that they have won the
                                                          lottery.
”What are we gonna buy first?” she
                                                          asks.
Cut to an enormous house on an es-
tate in the Hamptons. Ginnie welcomes
Hank. Roy hurt his wrist helping the
movers but Hank’s there for the wife, who’s having an allergic reaction to her fake gold jewelry.
Evan hears that Roy put all his money in one bank and offers up his financial planning
services.
The couple, who are adorable and very ”aw shucks” about their new riches, invite the boys
to the renewal of their wedding vows that weekend. Everyone will be there, she explains. She
invited the entire neighborhood.
Hank and Evan discuss Boris’ impending return; he’s bringing Marissa.
Evan whines about Eddie being out of touch for his birthday three days ago. They walk into
the house and Evan is greeted by a surprise party.
Later that night, Evan thanks his dad for coming, tickled to see him.
Hank finds Jill, saying he wants to talk about Emily. She assures him they don’t actually
need to talk about it. Good talk.
Divya brings him a present, but Paige butts in with the same watch the CEO of Goldman
Sachs was wearing when he testified in front of Congress.
Divya tells Jill things are going great with her betrothed.

Evan soaks it all in, happy about Paige, his watch and the fact his dad actually came to his
birthday - even if the real thing was three days ago.
Divya and Hank check with a maid, whose boss Adam called them because she was nauseous
yesterday. She brushes off his concerns, but he tells Hank she had a kidney transplant two years
ago.
They video-conference with her doctor, who worries she’s not taking it easy. The doctor men-
tions that Adam is the donor.
Evan visits with Roy to talk about his finances. Roy says he’d be happy just sticking it under
his mattress. He’s worried about ”the lottery curse” and losing everything. He’s out-of-sorts.
Hank drops by his dad’s super fancy beach pad. Hank awkwardly thanks him for coming to
Evan’s birthday. The phone rings and Ed excuses himself. Hank looks around.
He finds pages of Boris’ stationary with practiced signatures in his name on them. He leaves.
Hank visits Roy, who’s starting to freak out about his wrist. Hank examines it. He sees a
scratch on Roy’s hand. Hank wants to run a blood test. Roy says it’s just about the worst pain
ever. Hank sends Evan for the portable CT scanner, saying he needs to test Roy for necrotizing
fasciitis, the terrible flesh-eating virus.
”Woah, that might qualify as a lottery curse,” Evan says.
Back at the house, Boris pulls up, super cheery.
Hank asks Evan if he mentioned Boris to Eddie. He wonders if he threw the party to steal the
letterhead.
Back with Tally the maid, Divya tells her her kidney function is fine, but suggests she get
some rest. Adam insists she go lie down.
At their place, Hank gets word that Roy doesn’t have a flesh-eating virus, but he doesn’t know
what the problem is.
Paige drops by for Evan, whisking him away for a couple massage. He begs off, saying he
needs to work on Roy’s financial planning.
Back at Adam’s house, he tells her she’s like family. And he’s the only one who matched.
”When the universe puts something like that in front of you, it’s hard to deny,” he says.
Hank phones Roy, who’s feeling much better on his antibiotics, despite a small cough. He
says none of the neighbors have RSVP’d yet.
Hank hears their parrot Walter squawking in the background and thinks he might know
what’s making Roy sick.
Back at Adam’s, he tells Divya that Tally’s pain has gotten worse. Her kidney hurts.
Hank tells Roy and Ginnie that Roy might have parrot fever. They’re mostly upset to learn
their parrot might be sick.
Divya calls for Hank, who rushes over to see Tally. Her levels are normal, so they’re thinking
it’s not kidney-related.
Divya goes for the ultrasound. Hank sees that it’s diverticulitis and says she needs to go to
the hospital. Divya volunteers to go with her and Adam.
Hank checks on Boris, who’s doing fine. He tells her Marissa is moving to the Hamptons.
Boris takes a call from Marco and is upset that the travel ban between Cuba and the United
States hasn’t been lifted.
At the hospital, Jill notices that Adam is sort of hot. Divya pretends she hasn’t noticed but is
psyched he’s a documentarian.
Divya checks in with him. She asks him why he gave her his kidney. He says he used to call
Tally ”Mama.” His own mother disapproves of pretty much everything he does. The family is all
personal injury lawyers. Divya says she can imagine not doing what’s expected of you can be
trying.
The next morning, Jill busts Divya leaving Tally’s room. She slept there overnight. She claims
she was concerned for Tally.
Ginnie worries that no one’s going to come to their renewal. Evan wishes Paige was there, but
she’s ignoring him.
Roy comes out, his hand is swollen and inflamed. He says if he had a saw he would have cut
off his hand by now.

Hank drains fluid from Roy’s hand and tapes his wrist. But he’s not missing their vow renewal
for anything.
Divya stops by the hospital and runs into Adam. He’s carrying flowers that he awkwardly gives
to her. He asks about the ring on her finger. They both seem upset when she says she’s engaged.
Ginnie tries not to freak out that no one is there. Jill comes in and Ginnie ”introduces” her to
Hank.
Roy and Ginnie renew their vows. Ginnie gets choked up. Divya walks in late and seems
somber about the whole thing.
Outside, the entire attendance is just four people. Hank sees Roy eating tons of rich food and
asks for the microscope. It’s not parrot fever - he has gout. ”King of diseases and the disease of
kings,” Hank explains.
He has to change his diet.
Evan sits alone and mopes. Finally Paige comes in followed by what seems like the whole
neighborhood. She brought a few friends. She tweeted it.
    She did it for Evan.
Hank jogs up on Boris at home. He’s glum. Marissa’s not coming. She’s been arrested. Boris
says he can’t help.
Hank drops by Eddie’s. Hank asks him about the forged signatures. Hank tells him he doesn’t
want an explanation.
Hank tells Eddie that Boris operates at a level beyond his reach. Eddie enjoys that Hank is
worried about him.
As Hank is leaving, Eddie tells him he used the stationary for the party invitations.
At the estate, Divya, Hank and Evan play a game of laser tag amid the shrubbery. Divya
doesn’t just win, she rules.
Eddie joins them. He announces to Evan that he’s a nincompoop. He’s finally realized he got
Evan’s birthday wrong. He apologizes and is ready to leave. The boys invite him to play laser tag,
but he says he has somewhere to be.
Walking off the property, Eddie meets Boris as he slowly drives by and attempts to introduce
himself. Boris knows who he is.
”Exactly” who he is, Boris says meaningfully and drives away.

Summary: Tensions grows between Hank and Emily when they care for a patient
together but disagree on the course of treatment. Evan concocts a
cyber retaliation plan against Emily, who has managed to direct web
                       traffic to her site.

Evan is panicking because Emily has
purchased every web address that is
close to HandMed.com. Emily hears him
refer to her as ”the succubus” as she ar-
rives to meet with Hank. Evan seems at
this point to realize that Hank and Emily
                                                          have a budding relationship.
Divya meets with a woman she would
like to replace her with HankMed. Evan
arrives at the end of the interview to com-
plain about Emily. This chases the candidate away. Evan is shocked she already knew about
Hank and Emily.
Hank and Jill make a house call to see Stanley a 30-something gamer who has a recurring
cold with other symptoms. While there Stanley serves them with a cease-and-desist order from
Blair. Aside from being ill he is a process server.
Hank and Divya visit the Philips family. Ted is a wealthy businessman who is in the Hamptons
with his wife and children to pick up his father so he can join them for part of their worldwide
travels. It turns out Ted’s father is Dr. Philips, a renowned surgeon.
Evan has lunch with Eddie and complains about Emily ’though Eddie barely pays attention.
Eddie thinks he can help by using a friend who is a computer hacker. Eddie gets a ’phone call
and leaves quickly. Evan sees him meet a man in a red hat. The two leave together.
Evan examines Philips, who tells him he’s had emphysema for 16 years after smoking two
packs of cigarettes a day. Philips quit six months earlier. They want him to make the trip with
his family and Hank suggests several drugs to help with his symptoms. Philips asks about Theo-
phylline, which a past doctor prescribed for him. Hank advises again it because of the many

in a pulmonologist.
Divya finds out Stanley’s results will be in the following morning. Hank learns the only pul-
monologist within a three-state radius is Emily. Evan hates the idea of them working together.
Divya thinks it’s a great idea. Once Hank leaves, Divya tells Evan she’s convinced getting Hank
and Emily together will be the best way to break them apart.
On the way to Philips’s house Divya calls Stanley after his tests come back looking scary. He
is lying on the floor in some pain.
Hank and Divya walk into Philips’ place to find him watching old surgery videos with Emily.
Hank learns that Emily approved his occasionally smoking cigars and this leads to an argument
between the doctors.
Evan calls Divya and tells her he is with Stanley at the hospital. Divya hears one of Philips’
granddaughters’s coughing. Hank believes Philips may have given her pneumonia.
Blair apologizes to Jill about the injunction, telling her it ”wasn’t personal.” Jill responds that
Boris, the biggest benefactor, wasn’t as understanding. Blair examines Stanley and says he needs
to get to surgery immediately. Stanley hands Evan his laptop, ”saying my life is in your hands.”
Jill tells Evan she made up the story about Boris.
Hank arrives to find Philips covered in sweat. Tests reveal he’s having a heart problems, which
Hank doesn’t understand based on his meds. Emily arrives and tells Hank to his surprise that
she gave him Theophylline
While in bed upstairs Philips says he helped himself to a few extra Theophylline pills beyond
Emily’s prescription. Hank asks Emily to leave but she does not. Hank intubates Phillips but it
does not seem to work. The doctors (and Divya) work on Phillips overnight and finally pull him
out of danger the following day.
Evan drops by to see Eddie at his new place. Eddie’s hacker buddy rigged it so that when you
log into Emily’s site you are directed to an embarrassing childhood picture. Eddie hurries Evan
out the door. Evan wants to invest and Eddie asks for cash.
Phillips wants Hank to let his son know he won’t be able to finish the adventure with them.
Ted is upset at how sick his father got. Divya and Emily explain that he overdosed on Theo-
phylline.
Evan tries to explain to Hank the problems with him seeing the competition. Hank tells him
there is no reason to worry.
Phillips tells the gang his cough never went away. Hank notices a rash on his chest and they
immediately run to stop Ted and his family. They catch them just before boarding their private
jet. It turns out Phillips has whooping cough which he got from his granddaughter Maddie.
While Evan waits at a restaurant for Eddie, Stanley shows up. He apologizes for having to
serve them. Evan suggests maybe Stanley should quit his job if he hates it so much.
Hank and Divya treat Phillips and Maddie for the cough. Maddie’s mother tells Hank they
never immunized her because of the controversy. They think Maddie must have gotten the cough
on one of their adventures.
Outside the house Emily apologizes to Hank for screwing up. Hank consoles her and offers to
cook her dinner. She passes, since she is flying to see her family in the morning. She tells Evan
she wants a truce on the ”digital warfare.”
Blair tells Jill the hospital is dropping its lawsuit. Blair says she thinks patient care is always
the most important thing.
Divya tells the guy the only other option for someone to join HankMed is Emily. Hank thinks
it’s a good idea.
Eddie stops by the house later that night looking for Evan, who is out. Hank tells Eddie he can
wait and offers him a beer. They watch baseball together and both seem to enjoy the experience.
Jill goes to see Boris. He is upset that she used his name and jeopardized his privacy. He is
furious.
Evan pulls in the driveway in time to see Eddie leaving. Evan follows him and sees him meet
with the red hat guy again.

                                                       wants amphetamines but Hanks advises
                                                       an IV.
While sitting near the beach with Jill,
a woman literally falls into Hank’s lap.
Her name is AJ and she’s having prob-
lems with one of her ankles. Hank diag-
noses a sprain and gives her a card.
Eddie and Ms. Newberg announce to the boys they will be moving in together. Shortly af-
terwards Eddie looks stunned and starts hyperventilating. Eddie thinks the move has caused
anxiety and Newberg says Eddie’s been working hard to launch Blue Sky. Evan looks over and
sees the red hat guy sitting at the bar.
Adam (he of the one kidney) calls Divya to say he’s been feeling sick
AJ brings Hanks over to say she’s been feeling ”spacey and nauseated.” She admits to Googling
Hank and asks him about still being single and living on Boris’ estate. She seems to be fishing
for info about Boris but Hank politely says nothing.
Eddie is avoiding taking a stress test. Evan tells Hank about seeing Eddie with the red hat
guy the other night. Hanks thinks they should confront Eddie.
Paige asks Evan about not being invited to his family brunch. Evan says he’s still working on
his relationship with Eddie.
Hank brings Divya to AJ’s place. Looking inside the front door they see her collapse and break
through the glass to get to her. After recovering AJ says she got dizzy after standing up. Hanks
suggests a blood pressure issue. Hanks tells AJ he’s not sure what her problem is in a diagnostic
sense but wants to give her an MRI. She isn’t happy to hear the MRI is at a hospital.
On their way out Hank refers to AJ as a yenta mouth, in terms of the gossiping. Divya noticed
that her Pollack painting was hanging upside down. Divya gets some of Adam’s test results and
leaves to see him.

The red hat guy pops into Eddie’s car. He refers to Eddie having an outstanding debt he hasn’t
completely paid.
Divya tests Adam and finds out he has high potassium levels. He starts to have chest pains
and heart palpations. Divya gives him an injection and calls 911.
In the hospital Adam tells Divya he caught Malaria while in Afghanistan. It seems to have
caused problems when combined with having donated a kidney. Adam continues to flirt with
Divya, who tells him he’ll need some dietary adjustments and a medication. She tells him his
condition usually leaves 1/3 of patients okay, 1/3 with stable but impaired kidney function and
1/3 with renal failure. It seems as if Divya is having feelings for Adam.
Boris returns from business and literally carries Marissa off the helicopter.
AJ comes over for a meeting with Hank. While waiting she grills Evan in her gossipy way
about Eddie. Hank arrives and it is clear AJ was actually supposed to go to the hospital.
Hank gives Marissa an exam and we learn she is five weeks pregnant. She doesn’t want him
to tell Boris.
Hank and Evan speak with Eddie. His stress test was fine but he has high cholesterol. They
ask him about the red hat guy. Eddie is in debt to some ”unappealing characters” because he
wanted to pay them back as soon as possible. He apologizes. When Eddie leaves Evan seems
dubious about Eddie’s story. Surprisingly Hank seems to believe their father.
Paige offers to bailout Eddie’s company. Evan refuses to take her money. He then invites her
to an upcoming family gathering.
Divya tells Hank that AJ never got her MRI. They are handed a formal invitation to meet with
Boris that evening. Evan runs off and Divya tells Hank about feeling scared when Adam crashed.
Paige and Evan golf with Eddie. He tells Evan he really likes her. Evan tells Eddie about the
meeting with Boris.
Jill tells Hank she’s never heard of AJ, despite the fact she said she’s been coming to the
Hamptons for years. Hank suddenly thinks AJ has a fainting disorder.
Divya sees Adam, who has gotten better and is ready to leave the hospital. He thanks her for
saving his life and they end up kissing.
Hank and Jill go to see AJ. They find her house completely empty.
Hank and Evan are dressed and ready to see Boris. Eddie shows up and asks to crash the
party and maybe pitch Blue Sky to Boris. After a quick consultation the boys agree.
Divya tells Jill about the kiss with Adam. She admits it’s a connection she’s never had with
her fianc´ .e
During the meeting Boris tells the guys that Eddie is ”a criminal and a liar” and after being
convicted of a crime by the SEC he became a confidential informant against Boris. He’s been
spying on Boris and his home and stealing from him. The man in the red hat is Eddie’s federal
agent contact. Boris has conducted his own investigation to ensure that Eddie acted alone. AJ
was Boris’ investigator and she determined the boys did not help Eddie. At this point Eddie
clutches his chest and falls over. Hank says he thinks Eddie is having a heart attack and asks
Evan to call 911 as the episode ends.

HankMed is contracted to provide medical services at a local charity golf tournament. Jill is
playing in the tournament and is paired with gold pro Jack O’Malley. The rest of the foursome
includes a married couple, Nan and Dick, who seem to have a drinking problem and are a bit
out of control. Evan is leaving to go home and Hank asks him not to speak to Boris about their
father. When Evan returns home, Boris gives him a package for his eyes only and tells him he
will call tomorrow.
At the hospital, Hank and Evan are speaking with Eddie about changes he needs to make
in his lifestyle. Evan is anxious to hear Eddie’s side of the story. Eddie was doing some money
laudering using HankMed funds that Evan loaned him. When he inadvertently signed for medical
supplies headed for Cuba, he was arrested and agreed to work with the SEC to determine whether
Boris was involved in legitimate business. Evan keeps pressing Eddie until his heart monitor goes
off, so Hank makes him back off.
At the golf course, a golf cart crash produces some cuts and scratches on Jack and Jill was
thrown from the cart. Hank takes the opportunity to speak with Jack about a condition he
suspects Jack might be suffering from. However, Jack is aware of the condition and cannot stop
playing golf to get it fixed and risk losing his sponsors.

being with his boys was more important. After that, he decided to work with the SEC to hopefully
make his sentence disappear.
Hank does some research on Jack’s condition and discovers a new drug just approved by the
FDA and proceeds to give Jack injections in his hands. Jill asks Hank for cortisone for her aching
back and will not listen to Hank’s advice to just get some rest. He gives her electrical stimulation
to loosen her back. She later collapses on the course after completing a long putt. Hank is called
again and discovers she has been bitten by a black widow spider.
At the golf course, Evan is participating in a hole in one contest when Boris calls, making him
pull off his shot. His shot goes in anyway, and he wins a huge boat. He immediately leaves to
meet with Boris, who offers to help Eddie leave the country. Afterward, Jill stops by to let Evan
know that as an employee of HankMed, he is not eligible to win the boat.
Hank, Evan and Eddie are relaxing on the beach. Evan tries to hint to Eddie that he might
want to leave the Hamptons and recuperate elsewhere, but Eddie and Hank are insistent that
the Hamptons is the place for him. Hank pleases Eddie when he offers him a mulligan in their
relationship.

conference with Divya from London who
is preparing for her wedding. She of-

whose car was towed. They are filming a

lives and Hank offers her accommoda-
tions at his place. Before they leave, there
is an accident on the water and Hank and
Jill team up to rescue the injured woman. The producer gets the rescue on film, but Hank refuses
to sign the release form. Evan and Paige are trying on period swimsuits for a Gatsby party at the
Blackstone Club. Paige and her family are members of the exclusive club, but she tells him he
can bring a friend along.
Hank speaks to Boris and Marisa about the requirements for Marisa to practice medicine in
the United States. Boris is concerned about Marisa, she seems depressed and homesick. Hank,
Evan and Divya returns to the set of the reality show for Craig, who is complaining of dizziness
and blurry vision. Craig wants to stay in the beach house where the show is filming and Divya
volunteers to stay and monitor him. Evan finds out from the producer that Hank refused to
sign the release to appear in the show so Evan promises to try to convince him. Hank lets the
producer know that the injured woman, Brooke is okay and has no spinal damage.
Emily comes home late at night. She quietly goes to Hank’s bedroom and climbs into bed
only to find Jill there, with Hank staying on the couch. The next day, Hank and Evan ask Emily
to join HankMed as an equal partner. Emily expands on the idea and talks about franchising
the concierge practice, saying she met with some financial backers in California who are eager to
invest with her as the focal point. Hank agrees to consider it. Evan talks over the franchising idea
with Paige, worried that Emily is taking over. Paige advise that Evan be aggressive and control
the agenda.
At the reality show, Divya tells Hank that she watched all of the DVD footage with Craig in
it. She could not find any evidence of drug abuse, but the symptoms indicate that. Craig reveals
that he suffers from excessive sweating, so he had shots injected into his arm pits. Hank tells
him that the drug can result in botulism.

The TV show producer Terry is upset because he is not getting much cooperation at locations
around the Hamptons. Evan suggest he follow Hank around instead, but Terry says he still has
access problems. Evan tells him he can get him access to the Blackstone club.
Hank talks with Marisa about the infection that was revealed by the blood work. There is
concern about when she contracted the disease, and if her unborn child is infected. Also, Hank
discovers the disease has the side effect of increasing the chance of a male child to 2 to 1. This
is very important since Boris’s disease passes from father to son, and he has adamantly refused
to have children, wanting his disease to stop with him. Hank arranges an MRI at Hamptons
Heritage that shows no problem with her brain so antibiotics are indicated. They must wait,
however, to do tests on the fetus to see if it has the infection. Boris watches them talking through
the windows and realizes they are keeping something from him.
Evan arrives at the Gatsby party with the cast and crew of the reality show. He asks Paige
if they can enter and film and she is surprisingly receptive, but says she has to get permission
from the executive manager. Later, after the crew is given permission to film, Evan finds out that
Paige is not happy about the way he used their relationship to take advantage of her. One of the
cast gets ill at the party, with the same symptoms as Craig. Hank discovers that the underlying
cause for the illness was not Craig’s injections, but from a spoiled jar of salsa.
That night, Hank and Emily are talking in bed. Hank assures her that Jill was just a house
guest. Emily tells him she knows better, and knows there are unresolved feelings between the
two, but she doesn’t want to talk about it. The next day, Hank is going into the main house to
give Marisa her antibiotics. He encounters Boris who asks him what they are hiding from him.
Hank insists that Boris must speak with Marisa.

Emily have their biggest fight yet and Eddie just has to insert himself
into it. Evan finds himself in a sticky situation with Paige’s father, the
                       General.

The episode opens with Evan prepar-
ing an elaborate apology for Paige, only to
be discovered by her father the General,
and Paige not at home. Hank is called to
examine Natalie, a 14 year old young lady
who is a musical prodigy and is unhappy
her parents are forcing her to stay with
them in the Hamptons. She has been
complaining of a sore throat along with
nausea. Hank leaves and goes to his fa-
ther’s house to find him being examined by Emily, and refusing to say why.
Back at Evan’s house, Paige shows up with a smile. She has forgiven him but has been
enjoying his efforts to gain her forgiveness. She asks him to join her at her house because
her father has business guests coming over and her mother is away. Divya is awaiting a fax
regarding her wedding arrangements. She finds a troubling fax that takes her to Adam’s house.
The fax contains lab results from another doctor that indicates a decline in his health, and since
HankMed is still listed as his primary physician, they received a copy of the results. Divya goes
to see Adam, but he thinks it is a personal call. When she tells him it is strictly a medical issue,
he sends her away. While driving home, Hank speaks to Evan on the phone, who lets it slip that
their father is seeing another physician specifically to avoid sentencing.
While waiting for Paige at her house, Evan accidentally opens a hidden panel that opens into
a secret room. He manages to get himself locked in, just before the General arrives in the main
room with his defense contractor guests. Evan overhears a private conversation between the
General and his guests that he was not supposed to hear. Divya speaks with Hank about Adam’s
medical condition. Hank is upset with her that she went to treat him when she admitted that
Adam was the patient she was personally involved with, and forbids her from treating him again.

Hank tracks down Emily to talk to her about his father. He tries to tell her that his father
can be devious, and she doesn’t need to fake any results for him or his father’s sake. She is
put out by the accusation, and leaves. Paige rescues Evan from the secret room and he tells her
he overheard her father and friends talking about overthrowing a government. Paige laughs and
tells him the guests are trying to talk her father into running for public office, but she doesn’t
think he will do it. Paige and Evan go outside to find he father upset with loud music being
played by his neighbor, who turns out to be Natalie, the young lady Hank is treating. Natalie’s
parents have rigged a generator to provide power for her band while they rehearse for a recording
session. While they lose power again, a utility building where the generator is located explodes. A
reporter shows up and grills Evan about the General, and Evan lets slip that if the General ever
runs for public office, it will be because the general public asks him, not for special interests.
Divya speaks with Jill about the possibility she could be a kidney donor match for Adam. If so,
it could be the universe giving her a sign of their connection. Jill tells her if she wants to break
her engagement, just break it and don’t look for a sign. Hank follows up with an examination of
Adam when he notices some gym equipment. He informs Adam that high physical activity could
be the cause of the indications of decline that was revealed in the lab results, and recommends
he take a few days break.
Hank returns to Natalie’s house when he receives a text message from her saying she is feel-
ing worse. She is outside playing with her neighbor, the General’s, dog, who is carrying around
a section of deer hide that came from a deer the General has been tanning. Hank notices spots
on her hands and has a hunch that Natalie has been exposed to the anthrax bacteria. Next
door, Evan is talking with the General when he has a coughing spasm, and Evan notices black
splotches in the handkerchief he was coughing into. When Hank arrives and examines the Gen-
eral, he notices singed nostril hair, indicating the General was close to a fire and not exposed to
anthrax. The General admits it was he who accidentally blew up the utility building, when all he
wanted to do was stop the noisy music. Hank’s closer examination of the General reveals a more
dangerous situation, and an ambulance is called for. The band starts playing again and Hank
has another hunch that the hides covering the drums is the source of the bacteria, especially
since the drummer was also starting to get the spots on his hands.
Hank’s father calls him and Emily to his place to try to mend fences. He admits that his
lawyers told him that a medical issue could help minimize any sentence he would receive, and
that having family member for a doctor made any results look suspect. Hank apologizes to Emily
and says he doesn’t know what over the line for her means and that be barely knows her. She
refuses to reveal any more private information about herself and he says that is not acceptable,
and that if they are going to move forward with a relationship, he needs more. She tells him that
is all there is, but that he got closer to her than anyone else has, and they break up.
Later, the General is hosting a party at his estate, where Natalie is the guest performer. He,
Natalie and the drummer are all recovered from their medical issues. The General confesses to
Evan that he is surprised by the support he is receiving about running for office, and says he
would not have seriously considered running without the shot in the pants. Evan jokes that they
are even.
At the end of their busy day, Hank and Divya are talking about their respective relationships.
They reflect that they seem to have advice for others, but cannot seem to get their own love lives
straight. The episode ends.

The episode begins with a group of
scouts camping in a park and being told

ranger notices a flashlight from someone
walking off the designated trail and tries
to follow but stumbles and falls.
The next day, Evan brings in some
                                                         bags filled with emergency preparedness
supplies in preparation for the inevitable late season storm. Hank tells Divya about Evan’s fear
of thunderstorms as an explaination for the emergency kits. HankMed receives a call to respond
to a scout with poison ivy when Pete stumbles into camp with no memory of what happened
to him. Hank examines Pete and can find no cause for his short term memory loss, but Pete’s
hearing seems to be ultra-sensitive.
In the parking lot, Evan is talking to Stacy who is a storm tracker. She thinks there is major
instability in the atmosphere and a big storm brewing. Divya comes outside to use her cell phone
but has no luck. Stacy offers the use of her satellite phone in exchange for Divya removing her
cast.
Back at Hamptons Heritage, Jill is briefing the hospital staff in preparation for the upcoming
storm. Hank and Divya bring Pete in for the MRI and Hank stops to talk with Jill and gets a date.
When Pete takes off his watch in preparation for the MRI, Hank notices a burn mark under his
watch. Hank theorizes that Pete was struck by lightning.
Divya takes an x-ray of Stacey’s wrist prior to removing her cast. She notices something
unusual about the break and wants to talk with the doctor who set wrist before removing the
cast. Stacey is frustrated by this and leaves.
Hank runs a series of tests on Pete who is anxious to leave the hospital. Hank wants to repeat
the tests in 48 hours as a precaution against future symptoms but Pete doesn’t want to stay.
Hank relents but insists on driving him back to the park.
Hank looks up the technical term for Evan’s irrational fear of lightning and thunder, which is
Astraphobia. Hank is concerned since he has never seen Evan this distraught.
Later, Hank and Divya go back to the park to check on Pete who is back with the group of
scouts. Pete hears some banging and grunting that Hank and Divya cannot hear. They investigate

and find Stacy building a platform in an non-designated area, and when confronted, she slips
and falls from the platform onto the ocean bank below. Hank and Pete pull her back up and falls
onto of Pete, breaking a rib and getting a buzzing in her ear. Hank questions her about broken
bones and discovers she has a history of injuries. He notices on the x-ray a problem with bone
density and wants to do a full workup but she is insistent on getting ready for the storm that is
supposed to strike that night.
Hank and Jill are driving to dinner when Hank reveals he has broken up with Emily. Pete calls
him and tells him that his sensitive hearing is gone and he feels like he is no longer connected
to nature. Hank arrives at the park but is not at the lodge. He runs into Stacy who is packing
her car to head out to the storm. She hasn’t seen Pete and says the awkward fall she had
earlier is enough for awhile. Hank remembers the buzzing in her ear she mentioned and when
questioned, Stacy confirms it happened when she touched Pete. Hank theorizes the buzzing came
from Pete and that he might be in big trouble. They find Pete standing on the standing on the
platform overlooking the beach, apparently hoping to get struck by lightning again and regain
his connection to nature. As Hank approaches, Pete collapses.
Hank thinks Pete has a tear in his carotid artery which caused a clot. Jill cannot get a cell
signal, but Stacy comes through again with her satellite phone. At HankMed, Divya thinks Hank
is at dinner and leaves him a voice mail about Stacy’s lab results, confirming she has Osteoma-
latia, but the cause is unknown. She tries to leave to go home, but Evan finds any reason to keep
her there, fearing to be alone. Divya theorizes that the cause of Evan’s distress is not the storm,
but the changes coming at the end of summer.
The ambulance takes Pete away and Stacy goes with him, a budding romance beginning.
Hank and Jill are driving back when a tree branch falls in front of the car causing them to leave
the road and getting stuck just as the rain begins. Hank goes through Evan’s emergency bag
which surprisingly came in very handy in their stranded situation. Back at HankMed, Divya has
an epiphany about the cause of Stacy’s illness, which prompts Evan to say she is turning into
Hank.
The next day at the hospital, Divya meets with Pete and Stacy and tell them the good news
that their conditions are under control. Divya and Evan are concerned about Hank and Jill, and
Pete says he can call in a search team, but Evan has the idea to use the GPS locator that he
placed in each of the emergency bags. When they arrive at Hank’s car, they find Hank and Jill
lying together asleep in the car.

Jess Walsh that her friend had passed
                                                        away from an aneurysm.
Present day: Hank is making a house
call but no one is home. Divya drives up
to Hank’s surprise, but she tells him her
fiance Raj is arriving the next day. He is
arriving for a party they are throwing for
friends in New York that cannot make the London wedding. She asks his opinion about her wed-
ding gift to Raj, fearing that it wasn’t personal enough. They hear the sound of an approaching
plane and notice it land on the water on the beach side of the house. The pilot turns out to be
the same Jess Walsh from last winter, and she wants help from Hank to make sure the same
thing that happened to her friend does not happen to her.
Jess reports she has been feeling anxious, dizzy, nauseous, and has been having trouble
sleeping. She tells Hank and Divya that she quit her job in the city, took flying lessons and
moved to the Hamptons. Quite to her surprise, she feels worse than she ever did in her high
pressure job in the city. She admits she used to take various drugs, including anti-depressants,
but she completely stopped everything. Hank feels she has a condition that arises from going cold
turkey off the anti-depressants. He recommends starting her back on the anti-depressants, as
well as some blood pressure meds and gradually weaning her off them. They notice the adjacent
field and Jess shows them her other planes, as well as her own runway. Divya mentions that Raj
always wanted to learn how to fly, and Jess offers to give them both lessons.
Hank stops by to see Marissa and she tells him she has still not told Boris about the baby.
She admits that she has always wanted a child, but knows that Boris doesn’t want children.
Marissa finally tells Boris, who takes the news stoically. He admits relief at finally knowing why
Hank has been treating Marissa, but says he has to leave immediately for an important meeting
in Manhattan.
Evan and Paige are having ice cream and talking about Divya and Raj’s arranged marriage.
Evan wonders why the two of them have never spent a full night together. Paige reveals why; she

snores. Evan insists on her staying the night and finds out the hard way how bad her snoring
really is.
The next morning, Hank leaves a message for Boris to call him. Evan stops by and drops
some hints to Hank to see if he heard Paige’s snoring, but Hank slept soundly. Paige comes in
and Evan doesn’t have the heart to tell her.
Jess takes Divya up in the airplane and begins to black out, sweating profusely. Divya keeps
her conscious long enough to land the plane. Hank stops by to check her out by doing a neuro-
logical exam. He cannot find anything obvious so needs to do further tests. Jess objects, saying
she has flying lessons to give. Hank grounds her, and warns her that the FAA could take away
her license permanently unless she is cleared by a neurologist.
At Divya and Raj’s party, Hank discovers that Evan forgot to get their present for Divya as he
promised, so he hustles away to find something. When Divya and Raj open their personal gifts
for each other, they discover they both bought wristwatches for each other.
That night, Evan prepares several surprises for Paige, designed to help with her snoring prob-
lem. He gives her expensive Italian lingerie, but she discovers he has sewn a tennis ball to the
back of the nightie, to keep her from sleeping on her back. The fact that Evan went to such trou-
ble charms her, even though she is disturbed by him ruining the negligee. Later, Evan makes an
emergency call to Hank, desperately needing help for Paige’s snoring. He says he hasn’t slept in
days and can’t spend the rest of his life like this. Hank catches Evan’s unintentional revelation
that Paige might be the one for him, but Evan refuses to admit it.
The next day since Hank is in New York, he tracks down Boris. He tells Boris that Marissa
needs him, and that there is a chance a cure will be found for his disease, if not in time for
Boris, then in time for his child. But Boris is not happy because he had promised himself that
his disease would die with him and not be passed on to future generations.
Jess is in New York, drawn to her old place of business as a stock broker. She starts having a
panic attack thinking about the friend she lost and calls Hank. She begs Hank not to take her to
a hospital, because that is where her friend died. Hank makes her focus her breathing, and the
attack passes.
Divya and Raj are reviewing the videos that their guests made for them. They watch Evan
and Paige’s charming message, and Raj wonders how long they have been a couple. Raj then
reveals that Divya’s father’s business is having problems and the wedding has taken on more
importance for appearance sake.
Evan has a new idea, a full face mask for Paige to wear while she sleeps. Paige is humiliated,
but Evan assures her everybody has a weakness. She says maybe she should investigate surgery,
and Evan says he knows a great doctor.
Hank and Divya arrive to see Jess. Hank thinks she may have something wrong with her
adrenal glands. They arrive to find Jess preparing to fly to New York to meet with her friend,
who she has forgotten has died. She also does not recognize Hank or Divya. Hank checks and
her pulse is racing. They rush her to the emergency room and tell her about her adrenal glands.
They order an MRI after her blood pressure is under control.
Hank does an examination of Paige but does not find any inflammation or polyps. Her uvula
appears to be abnormally long so Hank recommends she see a specialist. He discovers the couple
eat ice cream as a nightly ritual, but he tells them dairy products can make snoring louder.
Hank is talking with Jess as they wait for the plane that will fly her to New York for her
surgery. She tells her she should be back in the cockpit in six weeks, but she worries that she
will have no customers. He tells her that he will be one, but not to thank him until it actually
happens. She congratulates him on leaving the big city rat race like she tried to do, and he
assures her that she was also successful in moving to a less stressful life.
That night, Evan is surprised when Paige’s snoring is greatly reduced, but he can’t sleep
because of all the coffee he has been drinking. She awakens, thinking her snoring is keeping him
awake, but he assures her that her snoring is much less, and in fact adorable. He tells her that
she is perfect, and that even her little imperfections are cute. With trepidation, he tells her that
he loves her, and to his relief, she tells him that she loves him too.

Divya and Raj are talking about the wedding, and Raj is trying to take on some responsibilities.
Raj reveals that he promised her father that he would be back to work right after the wedding
and that their honeymoon would have to be postponed. Divya is becoming increasingly alarmed
about the wedding, honeymoon, and leaving the Hamptons and inadvertently, blurts out that
she kissed a patient.
Evan and Hank arrive home with their present for Divya, a tandem bicycle. They see a moving
van and assume Marissa is leaving. When they get to their door, they see movers packing their
stuff and realize that Boris is kicking them out.

The episode begins with Hank and

have taken the boys in after Boris kicked
them out, and have told them they can
stay in Ms. Newberg’s house during the
winter when she and Eddie move to the
                                                         city.
Divya and Raj are taking dance
lessons in preparation for their wedding.
Tensions between them are still high after Divya’s inadvertent revelation about her inappropriate
behavior with a patient.
Jill is being interviewed then offered a job to help launch mobile medical clinics in South
America by Ben Richards, CEO of the Richards Foundation. She is surprised by the offer, and
the quick turnaround Ben requires. She notices a problem he has with reading and he admits to
be suffering blurry spells. When he tells her his doctor is out of town, she recommends Hank.
Eddie comes out of the courthouse shocked by the outcome of his hearing. In 48 hours, he
has to go to prison.
Hank is examining Ben and hears he thinks he is suffering a relapse of his MS condition
including numbness and weakness in his limbs. He has had the condition for some time, being
diagnosed in college.
Hank, Evan and Divya are having a HankMed meeting, finishing up old business. When they
are done, they each shake her hand and thank her for a great summer. Somewhat disappointed,
she starts to leave when they, along with Jill, surprise her with a cake as a going away present.
Evan reveals that he and Paige will be attending her wedding in London. Eddie walks by as they
hug, extremely depressed and retrieves something from the refrigerator and leaves without a
word. Everyone is concerned but Hank thinks he will be okay.
Hank and Jill walk outside talking about Ben and the offer she received. Hank says he can
cover their clinic and is surprised when she tells him she would have to leave in three days.

Divya and Raj continue their dance lessons with Niko. He encourages them to dance with
passion. Divya tells Raj he should seek passion too, but he says her father works him so hard he
doesn’t have time for it. She laments the fate her father has for her too, wedding, then babies and
more babies. She notices Niko’s increasing coughing and asks to examine him, but he insists it
is just a cold and bids them continue their tango practice.
Evan returns from talking to his dad and tells Hank he doesn’t think his had any effect. He
then confesses that Boris had offered to help his dad leave the country and avoid prison. Hank
is surprisingly not angry with him and tells him he did the right thing in not telling their dad
about the offer. Hank figures his dad should pay for his mistakes and then start a new life and
not be on the run forever. Unknown to the boys, Eddie is eavesdropping on their conversation
and learns of Boris’ offer.
The next morning, Eddie is in much better spirits. He promises to join his sons for one last
day of golf on his last day of freedom. Hank tells him how proud he is for taking responsibility.
Eddie says it is because of his sons, because he is weak when he is alone.
Boris and Marisa are having an argument when Eddie shows up. As Marisa leaves in anger,
Eddie thanks Boris for the offer, saying Boris is taking a risk. Boris tells him he is doing it for
Hank and Evan, saying they would be better off if her were not around. Boris tells him his driver
will pick him up at 5 PM that day.
Hank arrives at Ben’s benefit to check up on him. Jill tells him that she is taking the offer
that Ben extended to go to South America and work for his foundation. Ben arrives and tells him
his condition is worse but Hank tells him he doesn’t look scared, and his guests at the benefit
need to hear that.
Divya and Raj arrive for their dance lesson and find Niko bedridden, so weak he cannot stand.
Divya notices blood on the tissue Niko uses to cover his mouth while coughing. She asks Raj to
get her bag from the car and dial 911.
At the benefit, Ben is telling the story of his disease. His message is that he is not his disease.
As he is speaking, his vision starts to fade and he has trouble standing . Hank has been reviewing
his medical history during the speech and guess that Ben just went blind, and he thinks he
knows why.
Inside Ben’s house, Hank has Ben on an IV, and his vision is improving. Hank tells him he
thinks he may have been misdiagnosed with MS, and he may have Lyme disease. The timing of
when he was first diagnosed, his reaction to the treatments and other clues have led him to this
conclusion. Ben thinks this idea is absurd and is angry with Hank for speculating and trying to
give him false hope.
Eddie, Evan and Paige are playing miniature golf. Eddie notices a change in Evan’s demeanor
and guesses that he finally told Paige his true feelings. Eddie tells the couple how happy he is to
spend time with them this way, knowing in his heart he is about to run and may never see them
again.
At the hospital, Divya tells Niko he has pneumonia and he should be alright. He thanks her
for helping him for a second time and she says she must have been fated to. That wording strikes
a chord with Raj as he sees how competent and happy she is working in medicine.
At Ms. Newberg’s house, Hank pulls up just as Eddie comes out with his suitcase. He notices
Boris’ car waiting and tells his dad that he and Evan are there for him, now it is his choice
whether to run or not. Eddie decides not to run.
Hank returns to see Ben with the proof he has Lyme disease and that his prognosis is much
improved. Ben is chagrined at how he has let his diagnosis of MS become his whole identity.
Evan is packing for London and they talk about their dad. Evan says their dad made the right
choice because Hank was there, and Hank says Evan was right about needing to give Eddie a
second chance. Both agree he is a better man now than he was when they were children.
Paige arrives to pick up Evan and calls him a diva based on how much luggage he has. She
tells him maybe it wasn’t overkill and maybe they can make a few stops on the way home from
London, like Paris and Rome. Evan says that would be great but HankMed needs him since they
are already short with Divya leaving. Hank says he will be fine and for Evan to go and be with
Paige.

Hank says goodbye to Divya at the cafe where HankMed was born. He thanks her for her
vision of what HankMed could be and wishes her well. She says to Listen To The Music, advice
given to her by Niko, saying to tango properly you must listen to the music as it can change
suddenly and you must be prepared to pivot in a new direction. The advice mirrors what they
are all going through in real life.
Hank and Jill are picnicking on the beach talking about their future. The are both reticent to
talk about tomorrow, and just want to enjoy being together one last day.
Hank arrives at the heliport to see Ben before he leaves. Ben tells him he feels much bet-
ter, and doesn’t have achy joints for the first time in a very long time. He also tells Hank his
foundation is always looking for good doctors if Hank ever gets bored.
Hank gets a call from Hamptons Heritage hospital, and quickly calls Divya. It turns out Niko
didn’t have pneumonia, but has an infectious disease and she and Raj cannot get on the airplane.
As she is speaking, police cars arrive to ensure a quarantine. Divya tells Raj that they have been
exposed to the pneumonic plague, but it can be treated. He says they will have to postpone their
wedding, but she tells him that this is one more sign that she cannot ignore, and that despite
her obligation to her family, she cannot marry him.

One of the letters they received is a post-

has ’big news’, but not revealing it.
As Evan sorts the mail, Hank notices tour buses arriving, officially indicating the start of
summer in the Hamptons. Divya arrives in time to hear the sounds of crashing metal as one of
the tour buses gets involved in an accident with a couple of cars. Hank and Divya spring into
action, checking on those involved in the crash. While Evan and the bus driver help those who
are unhurt evacuate the bus through a windows, Hank helps a man with a broken leg. Suddenly
Divya calls out when the bus driver collapses. Hank discovers a laceration that has opened up,
and the driver’s blood pressure starts falling. Unable to start a normal IV, Hank uses the jugular
vein and the driver quickly recovers consciousness.
Ambulances arrive to take the injured away as onlookers clap and cheer the rescuers, includ-
ing the Mayor of Southampton. Evan quickly shakes hands with the Mayor, taking advantage of
the attention to plug HankMed while Hank and Divya quietly walk away from the crowd.

When Hank, Evan and Divya return to their current home (Ms. Newberg’s), they find a huge
party underway for Paige, much larger than what Evan intended. Ms. Newberg herself is there,
back from her winter home. The boys ask about their father and she reiterates the fact that he
does not want any visitors, not wanting his boys to see him in prison.
Another car arrives and Evan prepares the guests to shout hello to Paige, but instead Jill
walks in. Jill asks if Hank received her postcard, indicating she would like to talk with him when
the party is over. A disconsolate Evan receives a text from Paige indicating she will not make the
party due to other family considerations.
At Boris’ estate, Marisa arrives expecting to speak with Boris but arriving in the middle of a
meeting with a dozen or so men. Boris dismisses them and shows Marisa paperwork indicating
he will accept her unborn baby as his child, and provide financial and other protection for it. She
is upset saying he needs to take personal responsibility for the baby, and not just setup a trust
fund. She accuses him of pushing the people who care about him away, including her and Hank.
Her agitation causes her to experience pain and she collapses into a chair.
Divya tells Jill she spent the winter in the Hamptons, helping Hank and getting over her non-
marriage to Raj. Hank receives a call from Boris to attend to Marisa and leaves immediately.
When he arrives Boris tells him he thinks she is in labor, but she refuses to go to the hospital.
Hank leaves Boris outside the bedroom and speaks to Marisa about her condition. She theorizes
she is experiencing Braxton Hicks, or false labor. He moves her onto the bed, and her contractions
stop. Hank does an examination anyway to make sure she is okay. She tells him she is prepared
to raise her baby alone if Boris wants no part of it.
Hank next sees one of the drivers of the cars involved in the accident with the bus, Judy
Windland. She is experiencing problems with her eyes, and is sneezing and has a rash. Hank
asks her about allergies, and she tells he and Divya that she timeshares her house with her
ex-husband and his new wife, with her time being over the summer. The ex-husband’s wife has
made many changes and some of them she seems to be allergic to. While Divya answers her
phone, Hank gives her a steroid injection to improve her symptoms in preparation for her annual
kickoff party, and promises to followup later.
When Hank and Evan walk outside, Divya reveals that her call was from her parents. They
are in the Hamptons for the summer, and she has not talked to them since she called off her
wedding.
Hank and Evan are grocery shopping and talking about their respective girls. Evan has been
ordered by Ms. Newberg to prepare a nice meal to welcome Paige home, and is helping him shop.
Much to his dismay, she feels money is no object when it comes to setting the mood for love.
Evan laments privately that they need to find a new place to live.
Divya arrives at her parents’ summer home to a warm reception from her mother, and a chilly
reception from her father. Divya gives a heartfelt apology which seems to warm her father who
admits they need to move forward as a family, and that Raj is in the past. She agrees to join
them for dinner.
Hank returns to see Judy and she reports she is feeling better. Hank examines her and finds
most of her symptoms gone except from a rash and some swelling in her lower leg. This result
concerns him and he promises to return the next day and wishes her well concerning her party.
She thanks him and wonders if she will have a party after all since her friends keep calling and
canceling.
As Hank leaves, he notices her car and has a thought. He goes back inside and asks her if
her leg is painful and how long she sat in traffic on her way back to the Hamptons. She admits
some pain and says she sat in traffic about five hours. Hank tests her leg and discovers a blood
clot. He tells her he can treat her at home or she can go to the hospital, either way she must stay
in bed. She reluctantly agrees to cancel the party and go to the hospital.
When Divya and her parents arrive at the restaurant for dinner, she is surprised to find her
parents have invited the Uppals and their adult son to join them. Divya is offended that her
father is once again trying to arrange a husband for her and quickly leaves the restaurant.
Back home, Jill arrives to find Hank and Evan eating Evan’s romantic meal alone, with Paige
having delayed her arrival once again. Evan is concerned about their relationship, and decides

to send her and e-mail that she will never delete.
Finally alone, Jill reveals to Hank that she no longer wants to be in the Hamptons. She has
thrived with the work she has been doing for the poor and unfortunate in the third world and
wants to continue. Hank takes the news surprisingly well, happy that she has found a calling.
Hank gets a call later that night and proceeds to Judy’s house. He finds her there, discovering
she has checked herself out of the house against medical advice. She professes she is fine, but
her emotional state is down because she cannot find a way to move forward from her divorce.
While she confesses her pain to Hank, she collapses to the floor.
Hank quickly calls for an ambulance and treats her as best he can while he waits. She awak-
ens and he tells her she must return to the hospital, but she should make a full recover.
The next day, Divya returns and apologizes to her parents. She tells them she will not accept
an arranged marriage, and will only marry a man she loves. Her angry father promptly disowns
her, and tells her she should not expect anything from them in the future.
At the hospital, Hank checks on Judy, whose room is filled with flowers. She tells him they are
from her friends, who she underestimated. He consoles her about her relationship by revealing
his own pain from when his fiancee left him, and promises her life will get better.
As he leaves Judy’s room, he is approached by Dr. Redliner from the hospital, who congratu-
lates him on his work at the accident scene, and makes sure he knows that if he wants to work
in their E.R., there will always be a job waiting for him.
Hank and Evan are at home where Evan is moping about the loss of Paige. Hank assures him
his fears are unfounded, and that he and Paige are fine. When the doorbell rings, Hank answers
to find not Paige, but Boris. Boris confesses he made mistakes with he and Evan’s father, evicting
them without notice, and trying to violate Hank’s confidentiality with Marisa. Boris wants Hank
to return to his estate to take care of Marisa and offers Hank a lease on the guest house to seal
the deal. Hank insists on paying rent, but tells Boris not to get carried away when he suggests
market rates. Just then Ms. Newberg comes outside where they are talking and badgers Hank
about putting on a sweater, like a protective mother. Boris looks at Hank and tells him maybe he
underestimated his leverage.
Hank and Evan are moving back in with Divya’s help when Paige arrives. She tells him she got
his e-mail and needed to respond in person, which she does by kissing him passionately. When
a relieved Evan turns away to continue moving boxes, Paige glances after him with a somewhat
subdued look on her face.
Hank asks Divya about her meeting with her parents. She tells him the meeting went perfectly,
then asks if she can crash with he and Evan for the night, and maybe the next night too.

football tournament. During the competition, Ken suffers an injury
that Hank must treat despite his feelings toward Ken. Evan plots to
keep Divya busy to keep her mind off her troubles.

be a bad idea. Evan of course, caves in
to her suggestion. While Hank and Evan
argue, Jill wants to talk about Divya who
has been down in the dumps since her
                                                         parents disowned her. Evan recommends
keeping Divya busy to keep her mind off
her troubles. When Hank leaves to visit a new client, Jill decides to accompany him rather than
stay and plot with Evan. As they leave, Divya finally comes downstairs, then thinks better of it
and heads up the steps in the face of Evan’s cheerfulness.
Hank’s new patient is an elderly man named Jono. Jono is a gardener whose boss called
Hank with concerns about Jono’s weight loss, and unusually quiet demeanor. Jono tries to beg
off from talking with Hank by professing work but Hank is persistent. Hank tests Jono’s blood
pressure and finds nothing amiss so he leaves.
On the way back to the car, Ken Keller calls out to Hank and Jill from his bicycle. He is Jono’s
boss and has some concerns. He mentions that he is sponsoring an annual fund raising event
where individuals can compete in a football game with the pros. He asks Hank to join in but
Hank declares his schedule is too busy. Hank and Ken start arguing about their high school
football exploits and Ken goads Hank until he consents to participate, schedule permitting of
course.
Evan and Divya are shopping at a medical supply store, following Evan’s plan to keep Divya
busy. He only succeeds in annoying her, however.

At the Keller estate, Ken introduces Hank to Greg Jennings. Greg and the other pros start
putting the participants through some grueling drills, and Hank and Ken work hard to top each
other. Jill arrives and Ken introduces her to Greg. Greg thinks she is a typical fan until she starts
grilling him about past performances that hurt her fantasy football team.
Evan and Divya next stop at a surgical supply store where Evan continues to annoy Divya.
Divya tries to purchase some supplies but her credit card is rejected. Evan supplies his HankMed
card and then tries consoling Divya. He suggests she get her own HankMed corporate card for
purchasing supplies and she agrees, somewhat embarrassed by the whole event. They next arrive
at the Keller estate and speak with Jono. Divya is concerned that the medication Jono is taking
to control his blood pressure is somewhat dated. Jono confesses he has been taking the same
prescription since the 80s, and worries that his boss wants to get rid of him. When he steps over
a hedge, Divya spots a rash on his leg that she theorizes could be a fungus caused by the thorn
from a rose plant. She recommends a treatment that Jono agrees to, if it will make her go away.
All the while this was going on, Evan was hovering nearby, until Divya finally snaps at him.
Hank and Ken are among a group playing a scrimmage. Hank is on defense and trying to
cover Ken but Ken catches a touchdown pass over him. When Ken tries to celebrate my dunking
the football over the goal post, he manages to break his arm. Hank quickly checks him out and
notices that he does not have any pulse in his arm, meaning the tissue can die quickly. He sends
Divya to her truck for some morphine where she discovers her truck being impounded. Without
painkillers, Hank decides he needs to un-kink his broken arm, resetting the bone and restoring
the pulse. He rigs a traction device and has Evan pull a rope that he connects to Ken’s hand. The
contraption works, restoring Ken’s pulse and Hank splints it and sends Ken to the hospital.
Evan and Divya return home where Evan tries to get Divya to talk. She is in no mood to open
up, especially to him and storms out of the house promising to return tomorrow. A few seconds
later, she returns, slightly chagrined as she realizes she has no home and is staying with Hank
and Evan. She stomps upstairs leaving Evan alone.
Hank stops by the Keller estate where Ken has returned from the hospital. His arm is doing
fine but he reiterates his concern about Jono. Hank tells him Divya prescribed new medication
for him but Ken says he will never get it filled as he never leaves the estate. Hank advises him
that Jono thinks Ken will soon fire him, much to Ken’s surprise. Hank notices Ken is watching
a recording of one of their high school games. Ken talks about his father and Hank realizes the
kind of pressure Ken’s dad exerted on him and suddenly understands more about Ken’s behavior
towards him in high school. The two men bond over their father issues.
Paige is assembling a care package to send to Hank and Evan’s father when Hank arrives
home. Evan pulls Hank aside and tells him that he thinks Divya’s father was paying for every-
thing, and that she only cashed a couple of her HankMed paychecks. She apparently now has
only them for support and Hank agrees she is in trouble. Paige was apparently eavesdropping
and decides to leave, first showing Hank a magazine with a front page story about the bus rescue
on the front page that she is putting in the care package for their father. Hank is upset and
argues with Evan about the unwanted publicity.
The football games continue, with Hank and Ken’s teams at the top of the standings. Ken is
there and has been cleared to play, but Hank asks him to be careful. Jill shows up with the
results of Ken’s blood work, and it appears he has either been blood doping or he’s a freak of
nature.
Divya checks in on Jono again, and brings him his new medication herself. He reiterates his
fear of losing his job and she tells him his old medicine can have side effects like depression and
paranoia, making him not want to take care of himself.
At the football game, Divya stops by and Evan jumps up to talk with her, telling her she
doesn’t have to go through this alone. Fed up with him, she throws his father’s situation back in
his face, a man who left for twenty years and now refuses to allow his sons to visit him in prison.
Divya suggest he worry about his own family and leave her alone.
Hank makes a big catch in the game and Ken argues he trapped the ball, yelling and pointing
with his broken arm. Hank notices a problem and insists the case be removed immediately,
stating that Ken is in jeopardy of losing the arm if the problem is what he thinks it is. When the

cast comes off, Ken’s arm looks necrotic. Hank tells him he needs to go to Hamptons Heritage
hospital, but Ken wants to take a chopper to a world class hospital. Hank tells him there is no
time and rigs a pressure reading device out of some blood pressure equipment to convince him.
Jono gives Divya a flower and thanks her for the medication, indicating he will try it. Evan asks
how she knew he was depressed. She explains the difference between depression and sadness.
Evan asks her what her condition is. She claims sadness over everything between her and her
parents. Evan tells her that if her parents don’t want her, she is free to stay with them as long as
she wants. When she tells him she will start cashing her paychecks, he declares that he is now
sad.
Hank runs into Paige outside the coffee shop where she is on the phone and clearly troubled.
She asks if he can help and if the information would be covered by doctor-patient confidentiality.
He says yes, if the problem is medical. She confirms that it is but before she can reveal what it
is, he stops her and says he is reluctant to know something about her that he cannot tell Evan.
She says she understands and asks him not to tell Evan, then leaves, clearly upset.
Hank checks in on Ken in the hospital, concerned about a possible blood disorder. Ken finally
admits to blood doping, saying that as the years go by, he needs a competitive edge. He admits
to being sore and inquires about Hank. Hank says he is fine, and never felt better. Hanks says
his goodbyes and leaves Ken’s room, collapsing into a wheelchair that Jill has waiting for him,
sore to the point of disability.
At home, Divya apologizes for letting her personal life interfere with her professional life. She
also apologizes to Evan for the cheap shot about Eddie R. Even though he is in prison, he still
takes their phone calls, unlike her father. Hank and Evan then declare they have a surprise for
her, but before they can tell her, Greg Jennings stops by with an MVP of the tournament trophy
for Hank. As he leaves, he asks about the sweet ride with the red bow on it in the driveway. Divya
goes outside to see a gently used vintage Range Rover that Hank and Evan have bought for her
to replace her Mercedes that was repossessed. Evan reminds Hank that if he was allowed to grow
the business, they could have afforded a Mercedes instead.

She tells them the good nes, she has found a place to live, and wants to cook them a thank you
dinner. When she leaves, Evan starts complaining again, wondering if Divya will be cooking In-
dian food when Paige enters. She brings a box of mail that accumulated at Boris’ residence while
they were staying at Ms. Newberg’s. Divya enters saying that Jill called and Hank and Divya
leave. Paige volunteers to help Evan go through the mail.
Jill takes them to Stella and Kate’s new business where Kate has injured herself putting up
a shelf. Hank removes a drill bit that Kate had managed to drill into her foot. Out front, Divya
tells Stella that Kate needs a tetanus shot but is otherwise fine. Stella starts coughing but says
she is just overworked getting the store going. Divya leaves her business card and advises her
to call if her symptoms get worse. As they all leave the store, Divya hands Hank his half of the
day’s workload and suggests they get some coffee while they have the time. Jill makes up a story
about a new patient and she and Hank leave for a quick booty call.
Hank treats Evelyn, an author who has injured her arm. Her arm is not broken but Hank

dumping compost on top of Jerry’s head and shoulders. Hank helps Jerry clean up using the
garden hose. He then examines his eyes and airway for any residual effects and finds nothing.
Evan returns home to find a trail of letters leading to his bedroom, where he finds Paige
waiting for him with all of the mail sorted into piles. She bribes him that she will grant him a
wish for every pile he goes through. Evan starts in at light speed when he find a a letter from
the Department of Justice regarding his father, Eddie. The letter says Eddie will have a parole
hearing on the next Monday. However, the letter states a deadline for providing any supporting
information that might help Eddie, but the deadline is long past. Paige suggests they might bend
the rules, but Evan is doubtful.
Stella and Kate are working at their other jobs as house maids when Stella notices something
about her hands that alarms her.
That evening, Evan is telling Hank about the letter and Eddie’s parole, reminding Hank that
they speak to their father weekly by phone and he has never mentioned a parole hearing. Divya
comes in with a dish she prepared for her thank you dinner. Evan is suspicious when he sees
and smells the dish that it is indeed Indian food. Divya says it is a family recipe and the boys
try it. Both tell her it is delicious and as she steps away for another dish, both men scramble for

of the cleaning products she has been using. She is confused because she created the products
herself out of all natural components, and has never had problems before. She confesses that
she outsourced the manufacture of the products and is worried because she has been leaving
samples in every home they have been cleaning. She is also concerned this will ruin her new
business with Kate and also might lead to losing her friendship with Kate. Hank tells her it might
be related to a virus if she has the flu, and Divya reminds her about her cough.
When Hank removes the patch, it does not indicate any allergies, which seems to clear the
cleaning products. Hank advise her to let him no if the rash gets any larger and Stella leaves.
Hank stops by Evelyn’s to reveal that her X-ray was negative, but she is still experiencing
stiffness in her shoulder. Hank starts demonstrating some exercises to relieve her problem when
he notices her jugular vein is enlarging every time she inhales. An examination suggests to Hank
some involvement with her heart. Evan and Paige are relaxing in the hottub where Evan is
leaving messages with the Department of Corrections about his father. After his seventh call, he
sets his phone down next to Paige’s when he hears a ring. He grabs her phone by mistake and
answers it, but Paige quickly takes it away from him and asks the caller if she can call them back
later. Evan asks if everything is okay, and is surprised when she is angry with him for answering
her phone.
Hank arrives and tries to calm Evan down about their father, saying they will call him later
in the day and find out what is going on. Evan leaves, still troubled. Hank asks Paige how she
is doing, then offers her a list of alternate doctors for whatever problem she is having that she
asked about in the last episode. She leaves quickly, telling Hank that he should never talk about
that subject again.
Stella is cleaning another home, when she experiences some dizziness. Kate calls for her, then
seeks her out to find her in the shower, fully clothed. Her entire exposed skin is red in color and
she says it feels like it is on fire.
Hank examines Stella again and does a skin biopsy. The laboratory will test the samples for
skin diseases, and Hank recommends an MRI and EEG. He also advises she go home and rest,
and Kate assures him it will happen, and Hank walks them to their car.
Divya starts to call Jill to arrange the tests when she deduces that Jill is actually upstairs.
She calls out and Jill comes downstairs, adjusting her clothing. Divya asks why the secrecy, and
Jill explains that she and Hank feel better not having to explain to their friends, when they both
have expressed uncertainty about their futures in the Hamptons.
Hank arrives home to find Evan in his van eating junk food, just so he doesn’t have to eat any
more of Divya’s cooking. Hank apologizes and ask how the phone call went with their dad. Evan
reports that Eddie said the hearing was a formality and that he has it covered, and they didn’t

need to attend. Evan reads between the lines and thinks that means their father wants them
there. Hank asks why he doesn’t take Eddie’s word at face value, and Evan asks why Hank has
been hooking up with Jill when he has been telling everyone they are broken up. Hank accepts
the rebuke and quietly leaves.
Hank stops by once again to check on Jerry since Evelyn told him he refused to come to the
door so Charles could apologize. Jerry finally opens the door and tells Hank that he is going to
sue Charles for his injuries, including his bloodshot eyes and a skin rash. He expects to use
Hank as an expert witness in his case. Hank thinks his eyes are the result of excessive washing,
and Jerry reveals he tried some diluted bleach on his skin to remove the odor of the compost.
Hank tells him the bleach actually burned his skin, but gives him some cream to treat it and
tells him he will be fine. While treating Jerry, an idea occurs to him about Stella and he quickly
leaves.
Hank and Divya arrive at Stella’s house, but the door is locked and she is not answering, Hank
theorizes she received some antibiotics from her visit to urgent care when she cut her thumb on
the champagne bottle and she may be allergic to them. They worry that her skin might peel off
and it would be very easy for an infection to take hold and shutdown her organs. Kate arrives
but she has no key either. They go around back and find Stella on her deck having a seizure.
Hank manages to stop the seizure but notices the rash on her hands is larger, and that she now
has a rash on her stomach.
Stella arrives at the hospital by ambulance where Dr. Redliner is waiting. He confirms that
Hank’s theory on Stella’s illness is correct, and sends Stella to the burn unit. Hank counsels
Kate about Stella’s condition and listens to her fears about losing Stella, so soon after losing her
husband.
Hank checks on Evelyn who has seen a cardiologist. The specialist found fluid around her
heart and was able to successfully treat her. Both she and her husband are grateful to Hank for
seeing the early symptoms. Jerry arrives in their yard again, leading his dog to do it’s business
in their yard once again. Instead of blowing up, Charles is calm and polite, grateful for the series
of events that led to Hank being able to save his wife. He then proposes investing in HankMed.
Hank thanks him but declines, then has an idea. The next time he checks on Stella, who is
rapidly on the way to recovery, and tells her and Kate that Charles is interested in investing in
their small business.
At home, Divya tells Hank and Evan that her application for a lease was denied because she
has no credit history, so she will be staying awhile. Evan tells her he can help her with that
problem when Jill arrives. She notices the looks on everyone’s face and realizes they all know
about her and Hank.
Paige asks Evan to get her phone out of her purse. Suspecting a trap, based on the last time
he touched her phone, he warily opens her purse to find some of the candy sticks he told her
about from his childhood. She tells him she tracked down the few remaining candies from 1992
and he asks if that is what the call was about. She lies and tells him yes and he thinks it all
makes sense now.
Evan decided to be honest with Divya about her cooking when Jill brings in some pizza boxes.
She tells him Hank already talked with her about her cooking, and she was okay with it, since
she hates to cook anyway.
Hank tells Evan that he has changed his mind about their dad, and thinks they should attend
the parole hearing.
