                                 TEP Bilingual Office Manager Job Description


Job Overview:
The Office Manager assists the Director of Finance & Operations with the day-to-day operations of the school.



       Responsibilities:            Details:

  1.   Reception & Mail             (a) Answer phones & greet visitors in school main office
                                    (b) Regularly interact with families of students
                                    (c) Perform all school mailings
                                    (d) Sort and deliver mail to appropriate school personnel


  2.   Human Resources              (a) Recruitment advertising
                                    (b) Coordinate interview logistics
                                    (c) New hire paperwork


  3.   Purchasing                   (a) Purchase school, office, other supplies
                                    (b) Receive deliveries and distribution to appropriate party.

                                    (a) Coordinate breakfast, lunch, and after-school meals for TEP students.
  4.   Food Services
                                    (b) Collect daily food data and submit required forms to the school food
                                        department



  5.   Transportation Services      (a) Coordinate with Department Of Education and student families regarding
                                    transportation related needs of students

                                    (a) Coordinate and help to staff school-wide events
  6.   General Office Support
                                    (b) Ensure that the main office is clean and organized



                                    (a) Maintain Student Records in ATS and generate various reports.
  7.   Student Records
                                    (b) Maintain and organize physical student record files
       Qualifications:               Details:

  1.   Experience                    (a) At least 3 years of experience as an Office Manager in a comparable
                                     organization


  2.   Skills                        (a) complete Spanish fluency required
                                     (b) proficient in MS word, excel, and outlook


  3.   Education                     (a) Bachelor’s degree required

Accountability:
The Office Manager reports to the Director of Finance & Operations and receives an annual evaluation based on
performance of job responsibilities and progress towards meeting specific objectives set at the beginning of each
school year.
Compensation:
The Office Manager earns a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The position includes a full benefits
package including medical, vision, dental and 403b retirement plan. The Office Manager receives all school vacations
(approximately 4 weeks), plus an additional 3 weeks of paid vacation during the summer.
