                                                                                                Objective:
Supervise members regarding the risk management areas of hazing, drugs and alcohol, sexual harassment, fire
prevention and email etiquette.

                                                                                        Job Description:
      Review chapter minutes to look for red flags and address them with the Chapter Advisor and identify
       resolutions
      Attend a minimum of one pledge and one general meeting per school term in order to do the following:
           o Educate members on risk management policies and potential consequences
           o Clarify ambiguity with risk issues
           o Clarify sexual harassment and alcohol policies to members and pledges
      Periodically survey the chapter to assess potential risks
      Advise chapter of poor decisions
           o Research the cause of why the activity is taking place
           o Identify alternatives for reaching the same goal with no risk
      Assist the Chapter Advisor to meet chapter goals
      Complete online Risk Management and Rituals eLearning training
      Promote attendance at Officer Training
      Educate how individual decisions affect the chapter and the Fraternity as a whole
      Attend Court of Honor
      Encourage chapter to implement a compliance committee/judicial board and provide guidance to this group
      Follow all rules and regulations of the Fraternity
      *Note: Investigations of any type are to be directed to the Fraternity’s Judicial Committee and the Risk
       Management Advisor is not to give any instruction on how to interpret the process found in the Fraternity’s
       governing documents

                                                                                           Qualifications:
      Alumnus status of at least one year, preferably longer
      Registered with the Volunteer Clearinghouse
      Email access, preferably on a daily basis
      Familiar with Alpha Kappa Psi risk management policies and enforcement procedures
      Experience with coaching/teaching individuals
      Experience with being direct when communicating what will need to be done to improve a situation
      Knowledge of ways a chapter may try to circumvent policies
      Knowledge of groupthink

                                                                Knowledge and Experience:
      Working knowledge of Alpha Kappa Psi operations
      Strong organization skills
      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      Prior Fraternity or volunteer experience (e.g. chapter officer, chapter advisor, etc.)

                                                                         Time Commitment:
   Between three and five hours per month during the academic session
   Minimum position commitment of one academic year
