									This tool is just that -- a tool for you to use to help you design a plan of study for your AIT students/interns…if you choose to

Below are SOME Sample Learning Activities that you may wish to consider using in your Plan of Study. This is obviously NOT a complete or exhaustive list
and stands to be improved through YOUR creativity (this is VERY generic)…this is, however, a good starting point for things to think about as possible
learning activities for each sub-domain. You may wish to copy and paste, edit and add to or delete from this list and tailor it to your own style.

Sub-Domain Sample Learning Activities
       10.01 Review nursing job descriptions and policy procedure manuals
             Learn scheduling techniques -- staffing patterns
             Review the nursing in-service training scehdule -- attend a training session
             Observe quality of interactions between nursing staff and residents
             Review infection control procedures
       10.02 Review social worker's job description and job duties
             Determine facility's philosophy regarding social services for residents and their families
             Observe an admission process
             Participate in a resident care planning meeting
             Assist Social Services Director with a special project as needed (e.g., record review, resident satisfaction survey, etc.)
       10.03 Review job description of the Food Service Directro, cooks, and other staff
             Learn how the department is organized and how staff are scheduled
