Backlinks and Pagerank
What is Backlink ? Back links are also known as Reciprocal Links. A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites. Eg : You can see my Sidebar with a heading Must Visit - This is called backlinking sites ! Backlinks can help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways. 1. You will probably have some viewers visit your site from clicking the reciprocal link directly. 2. Most Internet search engines also take into account the number of websites which contain links to your web site; the more hyperlinks to your site found, the higher up in the search engine rankings (depending on the search term) you'll find your site. How to Read this Table?
Here’s how to read it :
To get a PR [ ... ] - You need backlinks from PR [ ... ] - = [ ... ] backlinks. Example : Say, you need to get a PR 5 To get a PR [ 5 ] -- You need backlinks from PR [ 3 ] -- = [ 555 ] backlinks. To get a PR [ 5 ] -- You need backlinks from PR [ 6 ] -- = [ 3 ] backlinks. It’s that simple. Websites often employ various techniques (called search engine optimization) to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their website. Check your website backlinks with Back link Checker tool that enables you to know the number of websites who have given a link to your website or webpage. GO to Ian Roger’s site, he wrote a paper about this PageRank algorithm titled The Google Pagerank Algorithm and How It Works.

As a Firefox user and blogger, I realized that the best way to be more efficient was to find useful add-ons for the Mozilla Web browser. After trying a variety of Firefox extensions, I've found Top 5 that do a fine job of making my blogging more productive.
# Zemanta: Zemanta is simply fantastic. As you write a blog post, it automatically finds and delivers content suggestions relevant to the blog text. So if you're writing about the iPhone, Zemanta will find images, links, and articles on the Web that are relevant to the device. If you like what you see, you can quickly add that to your post with a single click. Zemanta is a musthave. It's as simple as that. Link - Zemanta # WebMynd: If you have a list of sites that you always consult when performing research for a blog post, WebMynd is for you. Once installed, it adds a sidebar to Google Search results containing all the relevant results from sites you frequent, like Wikipedia and Digg. It then records what you've clicked on so you can easily go back to it at a later time. Not all sites are supported, unfortunately, but I think that you'll quickly learn that finding the most relevant results is much easier with the help of WebMynd. That's where Surf Canyon comes in. It analyzes your query and searches deep into results to find all the pages that best match it. I've used it on multiple occasions. Almost every time, Surf Canyon returned outstanding results. I highly recommend it. Link - Surf Canyon
